These guys moved me a little over 5 years ago and I was VERY happy with them, so much so that I remembered their name and they were my FIRST choice for my current move. How sad then that Yeshi stressed me out when I requested the move(over a month in advance) when we were getting to 2 weeks before the move. I hate moving, it's a traumatic situation for me, and any extra stress can make me physically ill. Yeshi gave me that extra stress because he balked at one flight of stairs, something I could do nothing about. Should I have gotten another apt to make it easier for movers? Anyway, he drove me to find other movers and miraculously I did. So I cancelled him, and won't be using him again. I didn't realize it would be such a bother. So if you have a REALLY easy move, he might be the one to contact, but beyond that he might get mad at the imposition. Be careful not to anger the moving man with stairs! read more

regretted when i went for this for move... $1800 for unfinished move. they complain for me having too much stuff when i was the one who boxed stuff. many are on garbage bags since i dont have any more space to stack boxes. then they went to lunch with my stuff on their trucks. charged me 9 hrs for $1800. these company should be out of business. they did not even bother to assess my stuff to move. bad business... read more

Great service, great price and hard workers. I called looking for a short notice move and they had a slot open that worked out perfectly. They showed up with plenty of pads to protect the furniture and worked fast to get the truck loaded. At the other end they were very careful and worked with my mom to get her furniture just where she wanted it. The one comment on here that they were not very friendly may be due to the fact that English is not the first language of the workers, I found them quite friendly but not in the American over the top way. We were very disappointed with them during our recent move. One mistake is that they wanted to do everything over text, and don't give you a contract ahead of time. We told them we were moving a 3 bedroom, and they showed up with a small truck and claimed we had told them it was a 1 bedroom move. The move ended up taking 2 trips and hours longer than we had planned, and even after arguing with them, they only took one hour off of our charges, despite it being their mistake. We have worked with other moving companies previously, and were disappointed in the lack of organization and professionalism of the crew they sent. The lead mover was clearly the only one with any experience. The rest of the crew was very slow and inefficient. We had several boxes marked fragile which were dropped or had heavy things stacked on top of them, and ended up with several broken items. They struggled with our king size mattress, and ended up dragging it on the ground and bending it into an awkward shape which caused damage. We had to keep pushing the crew to get things done. Our move too much longer than it should have, and now many of our items are damaged, and we have received no apologies or attempts to make us right. We would never recommend them. read more

Extremely hardworking and thorough. The first movers I've had that didn't damage a thing, and actually took me seriously when I had to mention something specific about handing an object--in this case, a very old and big desk my last movers nearly broke when they set down on its end. Yeshi and his helper, on the other hand, treated everything, the desk included, with the utmost care. Last time 4 guys couldn;t get it right; these two guys did it for much less, and have no hidden padding charges. You'll be happy if you get them for your move. read more

We literally got screwed over. They told us they would be at our place, between 12-1pm it is now 3.30 and no one has shown up. We called to ask where they were they told us the people before us had a lot of stuff but they will be here soon that was by 1.30 pm. We need to move to place where we not only have to set up our own things but get rid of the furniture there aswell, by tomorrow. It's a Saturday and there is no others movers available. Our time and day has been greatly wasted. I am not sure what to do cause whoever I call now isn't available until Monday. I'm am in great distress. It might be them messing up on thier first time and they might be really good but I will never and for us today has been a greatly stressful day with a great loss of time. read more

We used Yoshi for a small move from Napa to Pinole last month. He was able to shift around another move to accommodate my requested date. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and was friendly (surprised to hear another reviewer say otherwise). He was able to take a wall mounted flat screen down and rehang it in the new place. Yeshi's description for his business says it all. We contacted them for an apartment move and he was prompt with following up. The movers were friendly, respectful and their prices are very reasonable (we tried contacting many, quite a few strangely didnt even return the calls). They will provide you with wardrobe boxes and have their own packing wraps, etc. One of the biggest conveniences of all was them taking care of dis-assembly and assembly later of the furniture. They probably dont have the most sophisticated equipments/ moving trucks, but if you are ok with a neat and clean set up and prefer to deal with polite and courteous professionals, I would recommend them. They did mention something about a lunch break and I am not sure how it figures into the billing because they ended up not taking any breaks- so maybe inquire about that beforehand. The payment was via cash only when we hired them but they may have transitioned to cards now. read more

Movers decided to charge WAAAAAYYY more hours than what they worked, and then tried to get us to pay for them driving to our house, then tried to charge us for their drive time back to the city. $1152 for 5 hours worth of work? Nice guys, but very unclear about what they're charging for. read more

We hired these guys to move a 3 bedroom house plus lots of backyard stuff. They came on time, were very quick and efficient and very careful with the furniture. Yoshi, the manager, helped disassemble and put together a closet from Ikea that even Ikea customer service said that it won't be possible to re-use. In addition to all of that, there price was better than most other companies we talked to. A month later we asked them to help us with moving big kitchen appliances and again they were prompt, efficient and professional. Bottom line, I highly recommend them as movers. I booked them to move me after another mover I had booked canceled on me. I told him that it's very important and that I was really worried I would get canceled on again. I was told "Yeah yeah yeah 9:00 am we will be there. Don't worry about it". After 3 days of no contact I DID get worried about it. Rightfully so because when I called I was told "Sorry we are booked". I told him yes you booked with me are we still on and gave the address. He said he knew nothing about my address. Needless to say finding a mover off of craigslist is a bad idea considering they will drop you in a heartbeat if a bigger job comes along. At lease the previous mover called me to cancel.
