Sometimes you really get what you pay for... I've used them twice now and referred them out twice. The first time I used them I was immensely pleased. They wrapped my stuff, packed it, loaded it into storage and I didn't see my stuff until I hired them again to unload my storage unit for my house. It is here that I have the huge problem. My brand new couch is ripped at many corners where it must've rubbed along the walls... Tip: The garmet boxes are for borrowing. Transport your closet from A to B and they need the box back or will charge you. They will wrap your furniture but the edges of your furniture are still susceptible to damage. See photos. read more

This is the second time I've used QShark Moving and again came away incredibly satisfied. This was for a move from Irvine to San Diego. Martin and Norris were amazing every step of the way; they were quick, efficient and had a great attitude the entire time! We ran into a situation at the new place where we thought my couch wasn't going to fit through the elevator and stairwell. They tried to eye out a couple of different points of entry and we eventually got it in. The fact that they were so determined to make sure I got all my furniture in to my new place was huge! SLOW AND PUT A HOLE IN MY WALL! Beware. Moved a 2 bedroom condo into a bigger house. Travel time between the new place and old place was 5 minutes (literally down the street). So why did it take 4.5 hours? We got two guys. One somewhat experienced.. the other seemed like it was his first day. My husband had to jump in to help move things along. Things started to mmore downhill when the somewhat experienced guy decided to carry a heavy entertainment unit up the stairs by himself. He dropped it and put a HOLE IN MY WALL. Yes a hole in my wall in my brand new home. No discount was offered. They get a one star because they sent someone the next day to patch the hole. It was a crappy patch job. Wasted 4 hours the next day working with the hole guy. Still to this day I see the remanence of the hole. Update- company reached out and offered a partial refund based on my Yelp review. Changed my star rating from one to three for the service recovery efforts. Discount would've been better at the time of the damage but better late than never. I was moving a one bedroom apartment (excluding a kitchen and dining room furniture). The new apartment was less than a mile away and a majority of the items were already boxed up or in suitcases in the garage for quick and easy transport into the moving van. The only remaining pieces included a full bedroom set, tv, and some additional boxes. I hired three movers for the day & tried to make things as efficient as possible. The main gentleman was professional and enduring in his disposition. One of the gentlemen was visibly intoxicated & also complained of being hungover, while the other was passive in his work ethic. I caught the latter two gentlemen on more than one occasion just standing around near the truck (instead of loading the boxes the I had already moved into the garage the preceding week before). The main gentlemen was busy deconstructing the bed frame and hustling items back and forth from the bedroom to the truck & ordering the other two to pick up the pace. The last piece of furniture was dresser that needed to be moved from one of the upstairs bedrooms to the living room. Long story short the dresser collided with the stairway walls - in addition to another piece of furniture - scarring the wall offensively. Not only did it mark the wall but chunks of dry wall were damaged. One multiple occasions two of the gentlemen separately said, "if you hire me I can repair the damage no problem". MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. What king of business is this where they damage the apartment and then offer to repair it for a few? In my rage I contacted the main office. After a few discussions, it was agreed someone would come and conduct the repairs the following day - an unexpected inconvenience but what choice did I have? I needed to pass the keys off to the rental company two days after. Additional, the intoxicated man, asked for coffee. I was happy to oblige but need to find a coffee mug / cup (all fo which were packed away). I stepped away for a moment and came to find the man using the kering without a cup and instead cupping his hands under the spot and making a HUGE mess in his wake. Needless to say, he did not clean up after himself. Upon arrival to the new apartment, the two gentlemen (the one who was intoxicated and passive) complained, so much so, that I started picking up boxes from the truck and moving them myself directly to get things moving. I worked alongside them for an additional 2-3 hours shuffling boxes and whatever else I could carry. They kept complaining and I kept rolling up myself and moving things myself. They also felt compelled to be overly critical of the amount of books I have ... not to mention the intermittent mask wearing - my mother was with me & a high risk individual. I told her to leave & kept air filters running for fear of her safety. I tried my best to hold myself to higher standard and not express my disgust. I thought if they saw a girl who's 5'5" and 125lbs carrying boxes along side of them they'd kick it into gear. But, alas leading by example did not work. $600 later they were out the door. As soon as they left, I noticed several items damaged from a wood dresser with now deep and unsightly marks embedded in the wood, large custom picture frames that now have visible damage, a broken lamp, architecture desk that was banged against the wall with additional damage, and a few other issues. I could include photos but it's taken me 3 months to calm down to even write this review to warn others. I selected Qshark because the reviews were well above average & perhaps my experience was an anomaly. But, feel compelled to warn others. I don't have the energy to call and complain or at least have a discount for the money I spent. read more

I've used other movers in the past and was not happy with their unprofessionalism and foul language use, so I was a little nervous but this team was the perfect balance of friendly and professionalism. I called Qshark after another mover was unable to help me. That was on a Monday and they were able to fit me in on Wednesday of the same week. They were very communicative and arrived when they said they would. I showed them what needed to go and they got to work ASAP. They moved as quickly as they could while still being careful. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5, it seemed to me that only one guy was a "professional mover". The other guy had to be told what to take, where to put it, etc. He was super sweet but didn't move as fast as the other guy either. I heard the pro guy say several times, come on let's try to save these people some money, words to that effect. In no way though do I want this to seem like a bad review! I would use them again but specifically ask for an all pro team, or more than two guys maybe. I highly doubt that a lot of time would have been saved had they both been pros but you never know, and when a company charges by the hour, you really want pros. read more

I reached out to QShark through Yelp for a quote and to schedule for an upcoming move. They were quick to respond, and a rate that seemed fair for the job. Scheduling was quick and I had my confirmation same day. The movers confirmed with me the day before, and also called the morning of to give an ETA. Austin, Brandon, and Conner arrived within the scheduled time and were to quick to start loading up. Everything was wrapped and padded, and the larger furniture items we deconstructed before the move. The entire process for moving from my 1BR apartment (loading, transport ~20 miles, unloading) took a little under 3 hours. Movers were professional the whole time and took precautions to not damage any items or furniture. I definitely would consider using QShark again for my next move. Gabriel, Hawk, and Sinaan helped us move our 600 gallon fish tank. It's a beast, and they were awesome. They were very careful to protect it from scratches and tied it down securely. We moved to San Diego from Irvine in April 2022. The move was two fold, part of our furniture and goods were moved into our rented apartment and the rest of it was put into a storage unit. We bought our new home and moved into it in October at which time we moved some of our stuff out of the storage unit and left the remainder in storage. We discovered at the time, that so much of our stuff was damaged and broken. None of it had been wrapped and padded properly and the boxes were taped together they were in such a bad condition. Today, we went to the storage unit to have the balance of our furniture and goods removed except for some boxes which we couldn't access previously as our stuff had been randomly piled into the storage unit in April. To our horror, we have now discovered that apart from so much of our stuff being damaged during the move, so much of it was stolen by the movers. We have expensive purses, shoes and clothing missing as well as a very expensive glass and silver ornament which was a wedding gift from our parents . There is a whole lot of other stuff missing as well!! We are absolutely devastated as well as furious that a moving company can hire thieves to work for them. This company has no right to be in business and no one should hire them unless you want your stuff to be damaged and/or stolen. What an absolute disgrace they are!!!! Mike, Brian, and Kevin were very efficient and knew all the tricks to move, and in some cases pack, things quickly and efficiently. They were careful with my valuables and Mike even remembered where they'd packed things a day later when I texted him because I couldn't find something. And it was right where he said it was! I chose Qshark because of the good review on yelp but I was not very happy with my experience. The move should have been done a lot quicker then it took. They wasted a lot of time talking, joking, doing other things to stretch the time as much as they could. Also, They were cursing while were kids were around. They were not professional at all. I would not use this company again and would not recommend this company to anyone. Update: The manager called us after I posted the review and was nice of him to offer us a refund but we refused because they did their job and moved us. I called and they were able to pick up and delivery within 24 hours of me calling. They delivered my over 400lb table made of solid elm through my narrow 16 steps stairway with ease. Originally, I found Qshark Moving on Groupon. I found a deal I could just about afford for 3 hours, 2 guys and a truck. The reviews for the company were all excellent, so I blindly took my chance. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. The movers call before coming and checked in when their arrival time was going to be. When Joey and Shakespeare got to my house, they said it would be about a 4-5 hours job. I panicked because I only had enough money for the 3 hours and I had to be out. I explained this to Joey and said we legally needed to be out by that day and as a single mom, I can't afford anything more. Joey and his partner said they will do it and after already completing a moving job earlier in the day, busted out quickly, but safely all of my belongings. Joey was professional, kind and knew what he was doing. Shakespeare even saved a lizard we found in my house from our cat. The guys wrapped fragile items, safely carried all furniture and fragile boxes to the truck all while trying to get me done by 3 hours. As if that wasn't enough, when I tried to tip them at the end, Joey refused the tip, saying he had a single mom and he just wanted to help. He even offered to come back another day to fix a chair of mine. Honestly, these guys were not only well experienced and thoughtful movers, but they were all heart! I will never forget the kindness they showed me. I could never have got that done by myself and I was able to put food on the table that night because of their help! I've used this company twice. The first time in 2017 was good. The last move in September 2021 was so slow. The guys spent a lot of time socializing and were very slow to move. I could see them stopping to talk so often which wasted so much time. The move took twice as long as it should have and they even ran out of time by the end of the day. My goodness. Where to even begin. My SO and I were moving quite a bit away and although he had moved cross country previously, this was my first big move so being extra diligent on making sure we went with the right company was a priority. (Do you really want just anyone who goes in and out of your home?!) So come moving day, we had a window where we were told they'd arrive and received a call shortly after confirming exactly what materials they would be bringing for the needed items we had in possession. The team we were assigned (CHASE, WILL, JOHNNY - best guys EVER.) arrived exactly as promised and were a blessing to work with. (William was sweet enough to even text on the drive over to let us know everything was still fine but wanted to update us because there was unexpected traffic from an accident). All three were not only efficient but incredible people who actually somehow made moving fun?! Shout out to Chase; this guy single handedly reassembled our king sized beds on his own!! Everyone worked in unison perfectly (you DON'T have to baby-sit them, they have their act together) and go above and beyond to make sure boxes are in the correct designated rooms they're supposed to be in. Their prices are more than fair - if you've done proper research in moving companies, there are many who are NOT LICENSED that charge the same. Not a SINGLE item was broken/damaged - SO had ALWAYS said how at least 1 TV breaks from a move. Congrats QShark, I can finally say to him this is not true!!! Being such a finicky person myself I cannot believe how amazing the move was, despite being exhausted for obvious reasons. BIGGEST THANK YOU TO CHASE, WILL & JOHNNY!!! We had furniture delivered the day before which we clearly weren't able to move on our own and when I asked Johnny about potentially moving it inside as well, his response was so kind and made sure we didn't feel any pressure at all. Recently bought a house and we have absolutely no regrets hiring Qshark for our move. Joey and Chase worked tirelessly for 5 hours moving all of our stuff. This included our washer, dryer, refrigerator, and large bamboo standing desk. All this was done without any damage.
