Got a gel mani this week and was just disappointed. One of my nails ended up have a huge air bubble, and when I asked the technician to make sure the polish covered the entire nail up to the cuticle, I still didn't get that (the photos with the light pink color). UPDATE ON MANAGER RESPONSE**** The store manager states that he did not charge me $25 however if I hadn't mentioned that I wanted to pay his worker $15 for the service, they would had had me pay $25 for a nail to be fixed that should've been strong from the beginning. His worker told me she would do it free of charge which is WHY I asked if I could tip her on card. This place does have great customer service however it is masked by high prices for nails and a manager that can NOT admit his wrongs. I paid over $100 for service to be told I need to pay an additional $25. This place is a joke. My suggestion, only come here if you want to waste your money. My regular nail salon was closed and I was in desperate need of a mani pedi. Came to QQ and I loved it. I was hesitant at first because tbh the salon isn't like a newly remodeled etc. And you know half of the world judges a book by its cover haha. But I saw that they had a change of ownership etc so decided to give them a try. Also they had a huge 20% off grand opening special. My pedi was phenomenal! I got the pedi deluxe and it came with all the bells and whistles. Better for $35 buckeronies Ahhaha. It came with scrub, callous removal and even a foot mask! Also an additional 5 mins of massage. Def worth it maybe once every 3 months. And Lily did my nail! I thought she did a good job for someone who wasn't my regular nail lady. She was patient and worked with me until my nails were to my satisfaction. I would give it like a 7/10. Would come back here if I ever run into a situation where my reg salon is closed again. But it was truly a nail emergency. PS: my pedi lady kinda hurt my toe when she was digging out my ingrown nail and also, she stabbed me in the foot with her nail claw when she was trying to empty the pedi tub. But she apologized... but still... usually they are supposed to use their hands to empty the tub instead of using a tool and stabbed my foot with it. But whatever... Awwww what a cute new nail spot. I had a mani pedi (basic) and brought my mom along. We both had a blast chatting with the nail techs. Mom had her service done by the Owner who was so sweet and even taught her a few words in Mandarin. The space was clean, had great color selection, and accommodated our appointment at short notice. Great nail spa. I came in on a Sunday morning right when they opened and it was pretty quiet. This is my second time here. They have the most friendliest staff. Plenty of color selections for gel nail and powder dip. Annie did my gel manicure and she was very detailed and took her time to even have one of my broken nail filled with powder dip to protect my nail and for my gel polish to look even. Parking is at back and very plentiful and spacious. There's a point system that you can check in at the counter and when you reach a certain amount, you will get a discount. New management! Previously known as Dazzling Nails! Before the new management, the salon had an upscale and comfortable environment that played classical music. Now the new signs, shelves, bright lights and HUGE tv make it look like a generic and cheap salon. The Dazzling Nail staff was incredible and I'm happy they have stayed. They welcome you by name and give you a personalized experience. Pedicures are done thoroughly and gel manicures last forever! Wendy and Lily are my favorite! I initially came across this place on Yelp while searching for a nail salon that provides pedicures with a hot stone massage! I promised myself I would try one for the longest and FINALLY made time to treat myself to one for my birthday. I called about an hour before to make an appointment and was greeted by a very polite gentleman on the phone who coordinated everything. When I finally arrived, everyone was very friendly, professional, curteous and welcomed me with open arms. Anna provided me with my spa pedicure and hot stone massage. She did an INCREDIBLE job! Even when cleaning out my cuticles, she was very thorough yet gentle! No pain and no discomfort which was a huge plus for me! At certain points, she stopped to ask if the stones were too hot, and if the temperature was just right. I really appreciated that. Mind you, it had been FOREVER since I had a pedicure. And when she finished massaging my feet, I let out a deep sigh of relaxation. "Ahhhh!" ;) It was JUST what I needed. She didnt rush through my service and she really took her time. And my pedicure came out AMAZING! Plus, it was on a Tuesday so I practically had the salon to myself. This spa pedicure was the BEST part of my birthday. They really went the extra mile in making me feel special. I'm really big on the small things.. Such as the general "feeling" you get when you walk into a place.. I had a pedicure here once and I loved it. I was looking for a new place for my nails. I made an appt for 430. When I called I told the girl I'd like to select my own size nail tips because they always tend to come out too wide. She said ok. I asked for a full set. When I got there I waited until after 5 to be taken. I never wanted a fill but that's what they expected to do even though I had NO acrylics on. One girl insisted I choose my polish color. She must have asked me a half dozen times. Finally when it was my turn lily argued with me, literally about how I wanted my nails. She INSISTED that she cut my natural nails even though they were already kind of short. End result is that I HATE how they look. They are exactly what i DIDN'T want. I even showed her a pic of my previous set as an example. These nails are fat and thick and awful. What kind of business argues with a paying customer?? I can't even take them off yet because they're too new. I started to tell people to go there for pedis but I will tell everyone I know to stay away for nails. On top of it all, they're quite pricey. I'm so annoyed and bothered that I have to pay for what I didn't want. I hate how they look. Paying customers should get what they ask for. Also, its tacky to ask the customer to "come back another time" after making me wait 30plus minutes past my appointment time. I think they should stick to pedis only. read more
