May I also say my fills ALWAYS last longer than 2 weeks, they usually last about a month. The salon itself is very clean and very accommodating. Being new to the area, I yelped and found QQ Nail and saw their great reviews. We walked in and they said they can have us in chairs inn 10 minutes. 5 minutes later, I was sitting in a chair. I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure my opinion would be the same after numerous visits. I was referred here by my lash lady next door and its been wonderful! I get my lashes and my nails done every 2 weeks right next to each other. My nail tech Lily has really understood what I wanted every time I come in and now I don't have to tell her anything when I come, she does her magic! (She didn't get upset that I had to go elsewhere for a nail emergency while I was out of the area!) She's an expert with acrylics, gels, dip powder and regular mani/pedi! Super disappointed with Lily. She did not pay attention to my request and was not even able to remember the photo I had open in front of her of my nail request. Don't be fooled by the many good reviews. This place recently went under new management and they have been horrible. Honestly, before new management took over, this place was so nice and organized and did amazing work. Under new management, everything has changed. Every time the owner does mine or my friends nails, it is always bulky, uneven, and weirdly shaped. Lina always does a great job on dip, but good luck if you get anyone else. I really did try to give the new management a chance, but they disappointed me every time. Also, I saw on multiple occasions they go from someone's feet to manicure without changing any gloves. That is disgusting. I am just so done with this place, and I have been coming here for years. Not to mention, the scheduling is very unorganized. You call and make an appointment, and they still make you wait. My last time I had an appointment at 10am and they didn't get to me until 11. What was the point of the appointment? My friend had an appointment, and they also made her wait a ridiculous amount of time, and when confronted about it, they said "Oh I did not write you down." These past few times it just pushed it over the edge and I will not be returning. read more

We decided to come here for the first time today with my family. It was there grand opening so we had decided to do a family girls day with the discounts they have offered. Although this spot is newer, their workers have worked there prior to the business change. I had gotten a spa pedicure to treat myself after midterms, and they were very careful with my feet. The colors came out well and Tammy (the worker who had helped me) was always checking to make sure it was up to par with what I had wanted my toe nails to look like. I had chosen a Tiffany's blue color for the spring. I loved it. My feet feel clean, pretty and delicate. I would definitely recommend coming here, they take their time to make sure you are satisfied. The service is AMAZING! I walked in 1/2 hr to close for a fill and they graciously accepted me. Lili did my nails. She took her time to ask me if I wanted any changes to the shape of my nails, made the changes to one nail and asked me if i was happy and then proceeded to work on the rest of my nails. I got my nails done by Lina. I had chosen a photo for the color I had wanted and wasn't sure what colors would be the best fit. She was able to help me try to match the nail color in the photo and the result is in my photo that I have uploaded. It was a great experience. She was careful, and checked with me to see if my nail shape and gel thickness was up to my expectations. I would totally go back again to have my manicure done again by Lina. I came in to remove my acrylic and get dip manicure. the lady who helped me said its better to sand down the acrylic to a thin layer instead of removing them to avoid pain and I said that was fine, as long as it looked as natural as possible and short (since that's what I wanted). she insisted that would be the case, but I end up getting really chunky and uneven sns due to the fact that there was still leftover acrylic. I had a feeling that would happen, but I just decided to listen to the nail technician since it seemed like she knew what she was talking about, unfortunately I got disappointed. however, I did get a fantastic pedicure. read more

Trust me when i say that I've been to many many different nail salons, and honestly. Nothing compare to any other ones that I've been to. Stopped in on a Tuesday, so they weren't too busy. I didn't call ahead, i just walked in. Waited for about 5 mins, and lily took me in. And boy. I am very happy with my nails! I'm writing this review almost 4 weeks later, and my nails are still looking great! They offer you bottled water, which is very nice. It is a little far from my house. Out of all of my experiences with nail salons around LA, this has by far been my favorite one. I usually get quick service, but the outcome turns out mediocre. Lily, however, was not only quick but so patient and detailed; she takes care of the cuticles and makes sure the acrylic is smooth and even. Not to mention, they came out sooo pretty.
