I love coming to this grocery store. Everytime I visit my boyfriend in Bellevue, we always roll over to QFC to buy some delish ingredients for dinner. They have EVERYTHING you are going to need or want. (except hard alcohol warranted by WA law). Very good, fresh vegetables, strong customer service, and sometimes they even have free cheese samples (sorry bout it-im french, thats a huge f'in deal). expect to have every person in your party carded when buying alcohol but also a chipper fun cashier. i love this grocery store, wish they had more of them in CA. read more

This QFC is the absolute worst. For one many of their prices are more expensive than Whole Paycheck that is down the street. I found a specialty item that was $3 higher at QFC. Total joke. The thing that really bothers me here and its a huge pet peeve of mind is the fact that QFC will take their crappy Kroger item and price it just under a name brand item or replace it all together. I know you are jacking the price up because i can get that same item at other stores for $2 less. QFC has lost my business for life because of this strategy. Safeway does the same thing. The worst though is the whole strategy of processed packaged meat at QFC. I would rather go to a butcher shop or a farmers market and spend a few dollars knowing I might not get some disease. I have been to the floral department at this location many times. I will not go anywhere else for flowers. Not only is the selection endless and beautiful, the staff are so kind. Very helpful and understanding and really makes the experience fun. Last time I came in I had quite a few requests and did not make the job very easy but the manager Lori had a big smile on her face the entire time and made everything perfect. Why are groceries so expensive here? Maybe I am accustomed to Safeway and the likes of larger chain retailers, but I was somewhat surprised when I got to QFC to see that the same items I buy at Safeway were easily 10% higher in cost. The store was clean, and the staff was nice, but I don't need much service while grocery shopping so I would opt to go to Safeway instead of here. BUT with the few options there are in the heart of Bellevue, this was def not a bad option. Higher end, higher quality products made me feel like I was back in the Bay Area of California again. The good thing about QFC was the quality, which is essentially what you are paying for - which depending on your prerogative is not a bad thing. read more

An amazing customer service experience today! During checkout, the checker accidentally spilled a container of beet salad (the worst thing you could spill). No biggie. The manager was walking by and noticed so took the time to go back to the deli and get me a new container. All nice but pretty typical. The truly "above and beyond" service was that she scanned the new salad and gave me cash out of the till for that amount. Totally unnecessary but extremely kind! Great job, Pat at QFC! read more

I'm kind of surprised that this is rated the way it is because when it comes to high quality, local groceries, QFC is the place. This is one of the best locations because of how cleanly it's maintained. Service here is always great, and they just had a renovation, so it's been expanded as well. I love QFC, A LOT. They have pretty good prices, and if you want local goods (lookin' at YOUUUU Ellenos yogurt!!! YESSS), I feel like QFC does a pretty good job of finding the best of the best. When I'm in the area, this is my go-to for groceries, way beyond Safeway or Whole Foods. I also really love that they have a pretty extensive bulk section now, for things like dried fruits and nuts and granola and trailmix..... all of the bird-foody things that I love. Swoon. Also, they have a wonderful almond butter machine. It sells almond butter at fantastically affordable prices. read more

I do LOVE this QFC! Especially since the Larry's Market chain went out of business, this is where I come when I want to feel like I am in upscale heaven. There is a Bartell drugs next door and a Bank of America Branch inside the store, so it is convenient as I can get my grocery, banking and pharmacy needs filled in one trip. QFC IS more expensive overall than other chains-- however, if you follow their weekly circular flyer, and buy the specials and sale items, it is very competitive price-wise. Otherwise many things do cost way more. But at times-- hey, it's worth it, to have the "experience" of shopping in what feels like such a High-End shop and offers so much. This is a very large store. The produce and floral departments are wonderful, excellent quality and selection. There is a super Deli section, where there are chefs who cook hot food/entrees for you to take home. Plus the normal salads, cold cuts, etc. one would find at any grocery. They have an excellent cheese section, as well as a tremendous wine section. Before going on special picnics, I shop here for those extra special cheeses, salamis, etc. that I like to bring. They have a great section of cosmetics, shampoos, soaps, etc., way better than most groceries, and more housewares. If you are looking for a fresh Italian cheese, some exotic brand of Asian sauce, Indian spices, French wine or Israeli couscous, you are much more likely to find those items here than other food stores. I love just browsing the aisles for all the cool products they carry. The bakery has terrific tarts, cakes, pies, breads, etc. Go to any section, and you'll see way more brands/varieties of salad dressing, oils, cheese, pastas, etc. than other stores. All the choices are fun! The employees are also very professional, friendly and nice. The store usually seems to be doing a very brisk business, but they staff the store well, there are always a lot of check out lines going and short waits. Great place to shop for a fun experience, or when I am looking for foods a little out of the range of "normal". Prices are more expensive, so for my regular, day to day shopping, I go to Fred Meyer where the prices are the best in the area. Ironically, both QFC and Fred Meyer are owned by the same company: Krogers. Funny that one is the lowest in price, one the highest overall. I do highly recommend it though for its great staff, open 24 hours, super selection of products, and "gourmet feel". read more

I finally had to check it out for myself. People? This is the best of the best when it comes to QFC's. LOVE LOVE LOVE. And even when I was checking out to see if they sold fresh sushi (which they do), when I asked the counter person if they'd have a full selection at lunchtime (I was there at 7:30am)... she said yes, and then asked me what my favorite was... to make sure they had it on hand when I was to return at noon. WOW. Also, their olive bar kicked some MAJOR BUTT. I normally go for the marinated mushrooms which not every store has... and at best, there's one flavor usually. This store... had 3 selections to chose from (in terms of marinated mushrooms alone). I actually live next door to a QFC in Newcastle, but I'll drive all the way to Bellevue just for this one! read more

Review is for the bakery. I went there to pickup the cake that we ordered online and the lady said that she couldn't find the cake that we ordered. I told my name and spelled it out and still she could not find my cake. Finally, she found it on the table where she was looking at the first time. Not only that, the cake won't fit inside the box. It's raining and I could not close the box for the cake. Worst customer service as the lady doesn't even seem to care. And for a $34 cake, it's not worth it. I'll order from somewhere else next time. read more

I've shopped here since I was just a babe in arms. While I don't get to come by often now, I love coming back to see all the fresh fruit and produce this QFC offers. Along with the best selection of foods and fruits I've seen, this grocery is also home to the nicest checkout folks I've ever met. Some have worked as checkout people since I was a small child. I love shopping here, but it is definitely expensive when compared to groceries outside the Seattle metro area. Then again...are you really going to drive to Everett to buy groceries when you live in Bellevue? read more

Probably my favorite QFC location in the area. It is always clean and well stocked. They have a large selection of fruits and produce; big wine and liquor section; large deli; a natural foods section with self service granola, nuts, and teas. If you live downtown or anywhere west of bellevue way, this will most likely be your best option for grocery shopping. Good-sized store with a wide selection of standard food items. Well-stocked cheese section. Deli/prepared section can yield some pleasant surprises; best selection I've found with regards to a supermarket deli since I moved from the Northeast (seriously Safeway, pre-sliced ham sitting in a case? wtf?) Prices can be a smidge higher that you might find elsewhere - but not prohibitively so (still the same as any other QFC). Open 24 hours, always a good thing. (and they *MEAN* 24 hours). I remember when the power went out for the whole block last summer, people were still shopping in the dim emergency lighting haha. Parking is great, especially when you compare it to the only other downtown options- Safeway (underground) and Whole Foods (tiny parking lot). On the whole a good, above-average supermarket. read more

Horrible seafood and meat quality We purchased fresh patagonia shrimp from the seafood case. During our prepping to cook it, we found it was staining our knives and collander pink. The shrimp either came from Vietnam or Chile. Apparently someone soaks the shrimp in pink dye to make it appear fresh. My wife got sick over night after consuming the cooked shrimp. WHo knows what kind of chemicals QFC allows in their seafood and for that matter any fresh meats. We've always had lousy luck with their seafood, with an overload of bones in their fish. We will never buy from QFC again. read more

I usually have no complaints here in QFC (Bethany Blvd, near Portland OR) but today was rather disappointed in the customer service in the Bakery dept. The lady who I spoke to was not very helpful, seemed annoyed and finally put my cake in a box that was too small for it and left it wide open. I had a couple of errands to run and I had to leave it in the car just like that. Not coming back here! read more

The cashiers at this location need better training. QFC has higher prices in exchange for better service, friendlier and cashiers. But some (not all) the cashiers didn't even make eye contact, no thank yous nothing. I had to ask for a bag for the milk. Used to be better. read more

As an established place of public gathering, the concept of a public bathroom would be a common place. The manager as a joke waits until 7.30 to 8 PM to lock the restroom up. It is a fact that the inside beer bar is open until 9 PM. The ability to meet the clientele natural needs to us the restroom is denied. I think Kroger's should be ashamed as a corporate citizen to treat the customers with an attitude of I do not care about the customers. read more

I came here with my brother and his lovely wife for Christmas. Hailing from SF, a vast wasteland lacking in great supermarkets, I was blown away by how huuuuge this store is! The prepared food selection is amazing, the produce is fresh and flavorful, the cheese bar has an awesome selection and the best part: nicest staff of any store! If I move to Bellevue it would be partly to be close to this store. read more

4 stars bc its expensive but you know that going in. So fuck it, I'll give it 5 stars. Nice beer selection for a grocery store and they have a bunch of other liquor. They make suggestions on beer which I usually like. It's a big store but the parking is awful. Go at an off time and you'll park where you want. It's open 24hrs so don't be one of the fools that goes after work. There's a bar in there and I'm pretty sure they serve food. I heard a live band in there once. Only 38 reviews spread over 5 years, I think these reviews are edited. To me most grocery stores are about the same, there are things on shelves and you throw them into your cart. When your hungry enough you won't be so picky. The things that annoy me are the people who you must interact with. So there are the deli meat bakery departments etc. At this store there is a deli stocked with thousands of dollars of food in a beautiful glass case. Sometimes they will ask you if you need help but this is usually when your not so hungry and your just looking. Other times you are tired and starving and they will just ignore you. They will walk back and forth to the meat slicers and just be so busy that you will feel like your invisible. There is no bell or any kind of system to get their attention so you must raise your voice and they might notice you but they will say that they will get to you as soon as possible. This really sucks when you have just spent 5 minutes standing there. I guess they just have fun displaying all that food and don't really care if they sell any. This has happened to me many times at this store. read more

This QFC is sort of a landmark in downtown Bellevue. The best part of this QFC is that it's open for 24 hours and has pretty much everything. I recommend their Fruit and vegetable section as well as their beverage section. It's huge and lots of selections. Their cashier service is fast and they are very helpful if you chose self pay option. They also have a nice lobby area ideal to hang out during the day. read more

Good if you are from Medina or Clyde Hill, bad if you're used to much better prices elsewhere. This QFC is not for the under-affluent. Almost matches the bill @ Whole Foods. I would expect a single person making 85-90k a year shopping here regularly and a family income of 120k or more. Prices are unreasonable but that's expected since their Bellevue rent is probably outrageous as well. They do have a good selection though I gave an extra star because they are open 24 hours and since I work a graveyard in BV it's convenient. Again if you're from Medina, Clyde Hill etc it's probably a good alternative to Whole Foods as they have some organic items such as the Frontera Salsas and the Horizon Organic Dairy which is hard to find elsewhere. read more

I love the self checkout here because it's convenient and simple. Many food (organic also) items to choose from and there is an indoor Starbucks which is a plus. Other niceties like Redbox Rental / Coinstar Machines are all here. Their deli offerings are great to include Sushi. I highly recommend this place. read more

We ordered a fresh turkey from QFC, and just found out it's frozen. It was advertised as fresh, but when we called the store, they said the health department requires it to be kept at 28 degrees. So, now we are having a challenge cleaning the bird out since, well, it's FROZEN! Not a fun thing to find out at Thanksgiving. How about a little truth in advertising? read more

This store carries pretty good food and cleanly maintained. But a few people employed in this store are very rude. Once I asked 2 lbs of shrimp from seafood stand. The guy (looks from Asia) did not understand/speak English well. He asked how much I wanted for couple of times. I answered "2 lbs.". This guy started mimicking "2 lbs., 2 lbs., 2 lbs.." over and over as if I didn't speak English. This guy had rude attitude. I am happy with the store in general. I had to run into QFC today to grab a few things and witnessed two things that made my day in a matter of minutes. It is really hot this week in Washington terms with today being around 90. When you first walked in there was free water bottles for customers - how sweet. Then, as I was checking out, the manager was talking with the bagger about rotating shifts quicker today so no one gets overheated. I thought both of these moments really showed that management cared about both their customers and employees!! read more

I've been loyal to QFC for 30 years, but, my loyalty is waning in the past few years. I've already talked to the store manager and posted all of these gripes on their website, but they have not responded and don't seem to care for customer input anymore (that wasn't the case ~5 years ago). It's been a painful few years getting through their remodel. I'm still annoyed they separated out all of the organic/natural foods and put them in the time-out-corner in the back of the store. Instead of getting all of your shopping done at one store, you essentially have to go to two different stores, and back and forth, to compare prices and ingredients, etc, between organic and non organic brands. It's especially shady that they still offer organic items mixed in with the regular groceries, but ONLY the Kroeger organic brands. :/ FORGET about trying to send your teen or husband to the store with instructions on where they hide all the different brands. I would have given 4 or 5 star, but since they've grown, they're less responsive to my customer requests for certain products or brand names. Since the growth and remodel, in the past 2 years, they've dropped 5-10 critical brands/products my family uses everyday. So now I have to go to Amazon, Safeway or Target to supplement my shopping :( 5+ years ago, you could fill-out a customer request online and within days-weeks the product would be on the shelf. No more :( I would say I'm a top buyer at their store and spend $thousands there, monthly (or used to before they forced me to divide my time between several stores), so pretty annoying they won't satisfy special requests. They have 4 or 5 cashiers that really need to retire or be moved to different roles in the company. These cashiers are painfully slow and one is surly and rude (and tries to pass it off as comedy). For the most part, I try to avoid these super-slow cashiers, but some days they have all 5 of their slowest cashiers working the line, and I'm forced to stand in check-out for half an hour. I do like their variety and quality of produce and I believe they have the freshest cuts of meats and seafood in town -- so I won't defect completely. I like their growing online function: digital coupons you can load to your card, advertisements, etc. Finally, I am a top spender (I've been told that by multiple cashiers) but their rewards points and gas discounts are pretty useless to me. There are 7 Chevron stations within a stones throw of this QFC, but only 1 Shell and that is miles away. Their discount for gas at Shell stations is pretty useless to me: they need to have better customer rewards and switch loyalty to a different gas company. read more

I absolutely love this QFC! I never thought that I'd write a review about a grocery store, but this one deserves it! I was amazed by how friendly the staff was. Every time I go there, I am constantly being greeted by the employees throughout the store. The last time I was there, one gentleman who was stocking produce even struck up an enjoyable conversation with me.
