Chicken bowl with guac and queso
    Anthony H.

I've been going to Qdoba for almost 10 years at this location, and it never disappoints. I love the taste and freshness of the ingredients. I also really like that the queso and guacamole aren't an upcharge and included for the toppings. I got in and out for the to go order super quick since the line was pretty short and the workers were very attentive. Overall I would pick Qdoba over the competitors any day!!

First time here. I ordered make your own bowl with chicken and chips with queso. My food was good but I wish the meat and queso was hotter. The people working here were not friendly. They don't have straws. The lids have a sippy top. Not too bad in restaurant but difficult in the car. The seating area was clean.

This is A LOT for a bowl this small! That's a small lemonade. Just look at the size of the bowl, compared to that. Chipotle's bowls are a lot bigger. The service was okay. I'll look for a mom & pop Mexican restaurant next time.

Food was great !!! Me and my bestie ate there while driving in the area. The outdoor spots are a vibe and service was fast. It felt like chipotle but without the hot sauce and chips , that's the only difference. But definitely worth a Visit if you're in Sanford!

Pros: *great tasting food, it was obviously fresh. There was a bit of a spicy kick in their seasoning but it wasn't unbearable. *portion size was perfect *easy online ordering, ready on time *inside of restaurant was clean *friendly and attentive staff *average pricing Cons: *jalapeños were cut a bit too thick and were extremely hot

I got the fish tacos that came out hot and delicious. Scott got the fajitas with chicken steak and shrimp out of all the fajitas I've never seen one come with a big piece of cooked cactus on top. It was so good! We went here on a Saturday evening and it was not busy at all which is not a good thing It did have live music and we enjoyed listening to and play all sorts of unique music on his acoustic guitar. I think this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant I definitely will be back!

We have been meaning to dine in at Alebrije for a while now and finally decided tonight (Saturday…read morenight) would be the night. It's been a long crazy week going back and forth to concerts and Bike Week, we just wanted to eat out somewhere close to home then come home to rest. We arrived around 7:15pm and were promptly greeted and seated. The restaurant is full of vibrant colors and overall is very beautiful inside. They have a really nice bar in the middle of the restaurant and a small stage for live music. Fortunately for us, tonight was Saturday and they have live music on Saturdays. The musician that was playing tonight was Alejandro de la Fuente. He was an amazing guitarist and kept us entertained the duration of our meal. Our server, Semardis, was friendly and attentive; she took great care of us during our visit. I like that she brought over a carafe of water for us so we could keep our drinks topped off as needed. We decided on the Fajita Ranchera ($23) and the Baja Fish Taco's ($18) for dinner. Our meals were out fast, literally at 7:34pm, which is crazy fast. Our food was very fresh and hot. I loved that the Fajitas come with sausage and cactus, I usually only see cactus served with the Molcajete but I'm glad it came with our fajitas because it was freshly grilled, juicy, and delicious. Nancy really enjoyed her Fish Tacos too; they were freshly fried and crispy. Even with the coleslaw and dressing mixed in, the taco was not cold, which is great. Note that they have put a note on the door stating that they will be charging for refills on chips and salsa. We asked for a refill on the salsa only but were not charged extra for it. Maybe the statement is for customers that are not buying meals, who knows, but times are tough and don't mind paying as long as it's not exorbitant. I really wish business was busier for this restaurant. There were only two other couples in the restaurant when we arrived and when we were leaving there was two four tops, which has got to hit-hard on a Saturday evening when this place should be slammed. They did a great job with the service, food, and entertainment, I would like to see business pick up. Staff does a great job keeping tables and the dining room clean however the restrooms could use a good deep cleaning and there was a slight sewer smell near the restrooms, which could be off-putting for most. Pricing is comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area and they offer great appetizer discounts on Wednesdays, so keep that in mind if you want to save. All-in-all, we had a wonderful dinner here and experience tonight. Good job Alebrije Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar, we will be back!

We ordered the Elotes off the cob ($11.99) and the Molcajete ($30) which is grilled fajita steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, onions, nopal cactus and cheese. We also ordered one Margarita ($16). Served in an actual Molcajete which is made from lava rock and it holds the heat very very well. We shared this between the two of us and still had a decent amount to bring home with us. The Elotes was very tasty and the corn was nice and firm and it was perfect. Service was friendly and attentive. The dining room is light in colors and there is a lot of light that shines through the windows. This restaurant is a good distance from our home, and well worth the drive to it. We most definitely recommend this tasty restaurant.

They also have a little bar that has chopped tomatoes and chopped onions but be careful one of them is really hot. They also have a couple of sauces to choose from. First thing when you walk in this restaurant smells very clean. Not overpowering but the reassuring smell that they take food safety seriously. They are located in a Publix shopping plaza and have booths, tables and a bar with stools. I sat in a booth and came specifically for lunch because Amanda, another Yelper, had called out the deals. I was really impressed with their salsa. Usually I want queso but this had such a fresh taste and to me had an old school chunky texture you rarely find. I ate way too many of the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch ribeye and the lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out in the traditional sizzling presentation. They tasted as good as they looked with all the fixings. The steak was for later. A lot of time a thin lunch steak does not come out to a medium rare. This was spot on and the steak was juicy and tender. A really good steak! Both meals came with tortillas that maybe were homemade? The server greeted me and took my order right away. I had asked for some modifications and I thought it was nice she repeated them back to me so the kitchen would get it right. My bill was presented and quickly processed on a handheld device. Overall the ambiance of this restaurant is a neighborhood family place. I appreciated that they offer extremely neat bathrooms and a selfie wall for celebrations.

I've had pupusas a few times, but it's been a while so I was really excited to come to Pupusas & Burritos Grill. When I saw they did a unique take on pizza as well I decided I had to get both options to see how they were. It turns out, both were awesome! The pizza was a bit like a typical "Florida Pizza" so to speak in that it wasn't super thin, it wasn't crispy, it wasn't wood oven, etc - it had a fluffy dough and a good amount of sauce and cheese. But what set it apart was the huge flavor! The sauce was really tasty, the dough was tasty and the cheese was good quality and stretchy without being oily. The added pesto all over the pizza was like someone just pureed fresh basil - it was SO good. The best "margarita" style pizza I've had in a long time! The Pupusas were exactly what you'd expect. A nice dough with a cheesy bean mixture inside which was both really tasty and made you want to eat it all in seconds. The side salad / coleslaw was surprisingly good as well, with a great oil and vinegar type dressing that made me eat it all up when I often leave coleslaw uneaten.
