Let me start by saying that staff here are plain rude. This was my first and last time dining here. I didn't even begin my order yet, and the guy behind the counter talked rudely, and I asked him one question (my first time here) about their meat, and he says can't you read. Anything I said, he rolled his eyes, even asking what to put in my bowl, and I wondered which is hotter salsa and the response was "just choose one." Their food wasn't as good as chipotle. I would definitely avoid this place because of their rude employees. The only reason I gave them a 2 star is because their food wasn't as bad as their attitude.

I get "unconstructed nachos" so I can dip easier. Love it that way.

I was really moved to write this review as soon as possible once I exited the restaurant. Why? Because I had so many mixed emotions about my visit. Admittedly, I have not been to Qdoba for a while. I remember flavorful additions to my burritos or nachos or bowls and a pretty darn positive experience. That was not the case yesterday. I guess I don't remember their chips being in a massive bin underneath the cash register that the cashier simply scoops out and into your plate. Cold, lifeless chips. For some reason I don't remember that at all. Got everything to my table and in the short time it took to go from cash register to table my bowl of nacho dipping combination was cold. I mean not chilly cold but at least room temperature. Cold cheese and vegetables etc. with my cold lifeless chips weren't anything to write home about. Now, I do remember their staff being a little less zombie - like. There was a gal that greeted me that was first in the station with proteins who was animated, for sure. But the next two folks were literally just clocked in. I just remember a more welcoming warm environment. I'm not too old that my memory is that bad! I understand this is fast food and I understand that sometimes that can be a grind for the folks who are employed there. I suppose I would suggest to the franchise ownership to configure something that injects life into the employees. It's been a while since I've been there, as I admitted, and I'm afraid it'll be a while before I return. I even had all the best intentions and updated my app plus found that I had 4200 points. I figured, that's got to count for something right? Nope. I checked the app thoroughly and there is no explanation as to what a customer earns based on point value. That might be something I would update as a corporate entity.

Although I LOVE QDOBA... I have to give this location 4 stars. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were much smaller than other locations I've been to. Still tastes great of course! Just not getting the bang for my buck that I would have liked. Service however was very friendly and quick even in the midst of the lunch rush!

I ordered the Hummus Stacked Bowl with Lamb. As soon as you're seated, you're served warm pita bread to start. Each table has olive oil, salt, and pepper available for dipping, which made for a simple but delicious beginning to the meal. The pita was warm, fluffy, and had outstanding texture and flavor. Despite the restaurant being busy during its first few hours of opening, the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The presentation alone was enough to make me hungry, but the aroma of the lamb had me ready to dig in immediately. The hummus, which serves as the foundation of the dish, was silky smooth and velvety when paired with the olive oil. The grilled squash and onions added a wonderful contrast of textures, blending perfectly with the warm ingredients while still maintaining a satisfying bite. Their seasoning was spot on. Bright red cherry tomatoes brought a fresh, vibrant element that tied everything together beautifully. The bowl also came with additional pita and seasoned pita chips, adding even more variety to the meal. Overall, Meddys absolutely exceeded my expectations. For a restaurant that had only been open a few hours, the food, service, and execution were impressive across the board. I was blown away and can't wait to return and work my way through the rest of their beautiful menu.

I love being able to customize with veggies instead of carbs on carbs on carbs. I got the Huli Huli chicken with macaroni salad and seasoned veggies. I would get this over and over again! The portions were so big, I was able to have dinner and for lunch the next day! I loved the macaroni salad, it was a pleasant surprise that it's warm since I don't like cold macaroni salad. The veggies had a great seasoning on them and were steamed perfectly. The chicken was so good! Lots of real chicken pieces in a sweet-savory sauce over rice. I died a little inside seeing the classic plate have meat on top of rice with a side of rice and a side of macaroni but thankfully I didn't have to get it that way! Almost forgot we tried the Spam musubi too and OMG I'll be back for that! Warm, seasoned sticky rice with a big chunk of grilled Spam wrapped in seaweed. Ugh, so good.

It's a little spicy without being unpleasant. The Kilauea was a bit too spicy for me, and I couldn't really taste any flavor beyond the spice. Sometimes the chicken is hot and fresh, sometimes it's luke warm. A few times we've got small bones in the chicken which is a bit of a turn off when you're not expecting it. The kids like the dole whip. A little taste of Disney right in our own backyard. Overall, fun to try. If we end up back in the area playing the 'what do you want to eat' game, this would be a top contender.

They argued with a doordash guy about how they packaged the desserts. They didn't man the contour or even know what was on there menu. It took three of the four employees to deliver us a mediocre customer service experience. I had to ask several time to get my drinks for my order. The kid who just took my order shrugged his shoulders when I asked for my drinks and walked away towards the back. I had to get one of the young ladies to help me but she stared as if she couldn't understand the words coming out of my mouth. She did one drink at a time and then would ask me again for the next one. The kid who took my order just hung out by the heat lamps talking to the cook. Preparation of the hotdogs isn't rocket science but neither of the two males was capable of putting the hot dogs together. In addition they had prepared desserts that where hard when my daughter's tried to eat her strawberry funnel cake. This wasn't just some kids being silly, what this was is poor supervision and education. I will go back but I will leave if the staff behaved the way they did this day.

What should have been a simple online order turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I entered the entire order, but when I got to checkout, the purchase button was grayed out and would not allow me to complete the transaction. Thinking the issue might be that I had not entered my credit card information, I tried to add it separately, only to be told that payment information could only be added when making a purchase. When I returned to checkout, my entire order had disappeared from my cart. I entered everything a second time and had the exact same problem. I then called the store hoping I could simply place the order over the phone. I was told I would need to come into the store to place it. That was incredibly inconvenient, but I drove to the restaurant with my laptop and order information anyway. The night manager was very nice and genuinely tried to help. She looked over the order on my laptop and could not identify any reason the website wouldn't allow me to complete the purchase. Unfortunately, she then told me the store could only enter orders for the same day and could not place my order for the following morning. She called the GM for assistance and was told that I would need to order through Grubhub, DoorDash, or another third-party service. That solution made absolutely no sense. Why should a customer have to pay additional third-party fees to order Dave's Hot Chicken because Dave's own website isn't functioning properly--especially after that customer has already attempted to order online, called the restaurant, AND driven to the store at the restaurant's direction? The only other option offered was for me to return when the restaurant opened at 10:30 the next morning and place the order then. My meeting began at 11:00, which was the entire reason I was trying to place a scheduled order in advance. After everything I had already experienced, there was no way I could reasonably trust that I would be able to place a group order, have it prepared, leave the restaurant, get to my meeting, and set up on time. Again, the night manager was polite and apologetic, and I don't fault her for the limitations of the system. But ultimately, no one was able to offer a reasonable solution. I made multiple attempts to give this restaurant my business--twice through their website, by phone, and finally by physically driving to the store--and still could not place an order for the following morning. This was an incredibly poor customer experience caused by a combination of a malfunctioning ordering system, policies that prevent employees from helping customers work around that system, and a complete lack of a reasonable alternative when something goes wrong. Ordering chicken should simply not be this difficult.

We decided to try again on Thursday this week and found that it was actually open and not super packed with customers, which had not been the case our previous attempts. Went inside to order and the staff was super friendly, as they handed us the menus. The ambiance was a lot like a diner, with bench seating tables and high chairs, did not see any booths, but it's was clean, bright and open. My wife ordered the pancakes and chicken, I had the debo sandwich with potato salad and the slaw. From the comments I was hearing from my wife, the pancakes were amazing, with fruit inside them and a light syrup, the chicken was crisp and juicy, much to her liking. My sandwich was outstanding, it was huge and flavorful, the chicken was also very crunchy and the homemade pickles complemented it well. The sandwich also had a sweetness from the honey vinegar cayanne sauce with just a bit of heat too. The potato salad was delightful, now sweet but really good flavor and had hard boiled eggs in it, you don't get that very often any more, and the slaw was a bit sweet and tart with the pickled onions and pickled jalapeños, and some added crunch from sunflower seeds. It was a bit pricy, but the food was fantastic... Worth the price and worth the wait. Monster portions, we took the left overs home and get to enjoy it again tonight.
