Grand Opening today was super exciting to be here today. The coffee is so yummy I had a mocha which was so yummy & delicious. The coffee that's used is LavAzza is so yummy. The service was great for the grand opening there was a live band serenading us today. The decor has a cool vibe. The only downside is that parking can be challenging, but totally worth it. Shout out to the person working behind the counter this morning (11/25/24) at 7ish. There was a bit of a line that formed while I was there and the barista took orders and made drinks quickly. You should get a bonus for your efficient service and positive attitude. I got a soy latte which was great. Coffee didn't taste roasted and the drink was a perfect temp. Haven't had lavazza coffee in a while and it still tastes as good as I remember. The shop itself looked like it had plenty of seating and case full of sweets and pastries. It used to be a Starbucks not sure why it closed but I don't have anything against qargo, the coffee was great! Better than Starbucks actually. This place is right by the beach and parking was easy. The inside is soo clean and spacious! Great place to study! The drinks were solid. Not too sweet and coffee did not taste burnt. I really liked this place! They have all kinds of flavors that can be added into coffee or other drinks. My partner and I walked here early in the morning from our apartment and we were the only customers inside at around 6:45am. They are open early which I appreciate. They have tons of indoor and outdoor seating, both with great views of DT Long Beach. They also have a good selection of coffee beans for sale. Parking in LB is always pretty gnarly so if I come back I will likely just walk here. I ordered one of the seasonal drinks, a maple latte, and it was delicious. Definitely a nice balance of sweetness. They do carry all sorts of milk alternatives here as well which is great, considering that we avoid dairy with my gf being allergic. The inside seating area has a great ambiance with cool lighting and a beautiful wooden structure that also acts as a bench. 10/10 we will be back! read more

Lavazza is good Italian espresso, and they also have baked goods. The decor is modern, clean and comfortable; feels European. Tucked between tall condo buildings, it also feels like a workspace. Had coffee here and it was pretty good. Service was friendly. I got an almond milk mocha; a little too sweet for my taste, though I had requested half sweetened. My husband had a black tea and croissant and liked both items. They have a very nice outdoor seating area, which had ample and comfortable seats. We came by after lunch nearby for a cold pick-me-up on a warm afternoon and this spot totally rocked it! I loved the interior, super cute and inviting! Love all the small details plus I loved the world map of all the coffee regions! Lots of indoor seating! Service was excellent! Lotus Mango Colada - I couldn't decide between a couple of the flavors and didn't want something with caffeine so I asked and the lady behind the counter said this was her favorite. When it came out, I immediately drank some and was so mad at myself! I should have got a large size! It was super refreshing and tastes great!! Mango-y and creamy and chilled. Delicious! Qargo Coffee recently opened in a spot formerly occupied by a busy Starbucks branch. Since our destination had been a neighboring spot nearer to Lime Avenue we approached from Lime Avenue and found that there was some parking available in the cul-de-sac. That other business was closed but Qargo was in view just steps away. It appeared that most customers of Qargo had walked in from the area, but for someone looking for a parking spot off Ocean Boulevard this alternative might come in handy. The coffee and pastry were fine but what really impressed me was the very comfortable outside seating area. Not only perfectly chosen tables and chairs but the balmy ocean breezes will make this a welcoming place throughout the summer months. Probably the best new coworking spot in Long Beach, if you can find parking or walk here. I've been here a few times, mostly for their "Nutty Nitro," which is a fun little nitro drink with some nutty flavors. The first time I ordered it, I asked for half sugar, but they forgot -- so it was a little too sweet for me. There are lots of tables and outlets for coworking purposes, and the place has an upscale business vibe to it. All of the coffee beans are Lavazza so you have to like that roast to be a fan of this place, but overall they have a lot of fun drinks and some great breakfast sandwiches too. Warhol is fine. They offer several kinds of drinks. The staff is friendly. The indoor space is impersonal, though they do have outdoor seating, which can be very nice. But, for me, it ultimately comes down to the coffee. To me it tastes burned. There are much worse places than Qargo, but there are two much better coffee shops, with better ambiance and better coffee, in this neighborhood. read more

Weird vibes, we came in for a quick stop to order a beverage and use the restroom. Service was bad not even a hi or what can I get you, nothing! Simply ignored. Then we asked if we could use the restroom and staff proceeded to treat us like outsiders. They escorted us to the restroom! We felt judged. I love to just stop in here either on the way to work or after work to just get a mighty fine cup of coffee. And today, Lorena really delivered and thank you very much. After multiple disappointing experiences at nearby coffee spot (please see my east village cafe review), I am happy to have found this gem! Full disclosure, I am by no means a coffee aficionado. Having said that, the coffee and pastry offerings have all been above satisfactory. What makes this place cozy for me is the atmosphere. The interior is modern, clean and comfortable. The playlists have also been phenomenal every time I've visited. On top of all this, Leslie and Tyler provided service that was warm and welcoming. I really felt like I was getting coffee at a friend's house! This experience has restored my faith in the service industry after being jaded by the aforementioned establishment. Cool space, reminds me of a Capital One cafe. Pretty extensive menu and prices are average for downtown Long Beach. Love that it's dog friendly and has comfy couches to sit on. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte that someone mistakenly took and so the baristas made me another one. Drink itself was standard. No complaints! There's also an outdoor patio. Disclaimer. I was really hoping they had craft coffee options and a selection of single origin coffee. Unfortunately they don't. Not their fault and not considered in their rating. Brand new, the decor is excellent and inviting. It's a very spacious and comfortable. The staff has a little style you their uniformed look, but just importantly they are friendly and eager to serve. I'm still trying to find a coffee drink I like, but I'm hopeful. Though this place and its offerings are similar to what you would expect at Starbucks, the coffee isn't over roasted and doesn't have the burnt taste so that's good. They have plenty of food options, but I suspect they are all of the prepacked variety. They include pastries and sandwiches No variety of toasts and fresh sandwiches i prefer from my other coffee spots. I'm giving the 4 stars because it's convenient to be, gives me a remote place to work/study, and the peeps are nice. I live around the corner from here. My brother, wife and two toddlers came to visit me. I was excited to try new places with them and instead of Starbucks, we came here. Ordered some iced coffee. I tried to order som't similar to my Starbucks drink. A shaken espresso, which comes with oat milk. We waited for our drinks and when I got mines. It only had the two shots of coffee in it. An Asian girl that works there asks me with a very bad tone, how much oat-milk I wanted and I replied fill it. She sets the milk down and SCOLDS ME, saying that "next if I want a full drink you need to pay for it." I was a little stunned and embarrassed bc I know when ppl are rude to me I can go from 0-100 but the kids were with us and in a very low voice (bc she actually couldn't even hear me) said I wasn't aware it came this way, it's my first time. I just wanted something similar to my Starbucks drink and I didn't mind paying for it. She told me, that it would be a long time to make somt new bc she had other orders, but next time to order it right. My sister in law just stared at me in disbelief that this girl was being so rude. So I grabbed what we had and just walked out. If you're from the area or visiting, just know that there are so many good coffee shops with great customer service here in LB. Who will briefly explain what's what if you're new. This shop is not one of them. I hope I never see this person again bc I'm mad at myself for not putting her in her place. I'm an avid coffee drinker with many faves. Coffee is definitely important but so is the service, Qargo Long Beach delivered A+ all the way. Sunday morning, we took.our normal walk with our son, Kona only this particular morning we were on a mission, the mission was "Qargo Coffee", had to try it this weekend! First impression, the welcome from Ashley as we walked in was friendly, warm.and inviting. We all felt welcome. I was full.of questions since I've never been to Qargo before. Every question, about every drink I inquired on was answered in detail. She even.explained the puppy drinks which really intrigued me. I mean, forget the Pupaccino, dang...the drink "All Dogs Go To Heaven" sounded amazing, I wanted to try it (and I did), if you cater toward my pup as well when it comes to drinks, you have my vote. So after hearing about all the drinks I went with my initial go to, boring as it may sound I always start with a Blended Mocha, they didn't disappoint. Perfect balance of coffee and chocolate with a splash of coconut milk tasted similar to a Mound Candy Bar. My wife got the basic Iced Americano, that's her go to, said it was perfect. I proceeded to take some photos, talk to the baristas a bit. Michelle, was also friendly, turned and introduced herself as she was making our drinks. Fabian worked on my pups drink and when he served it up I gotta say I was impressed. He was so nice and explained exactly what was in the drink and allowed me to photograph him. Needless to say my dog loved it! We sat on the patio until they closed and Ashley came out to check on us, and to see how we liked the drinks and to.meet Kona. She was on top of the service for sure, her friendliness and attentiveness will definitely benefit the company. I still have my voucher for a free drink so I will be back this coming weekend. I enjoyed everything about my first visit, service + coffee = A++. I've been to the qargo in fountain valley and they're great and one of my favorite coffee shops. This one though is ridiculously slow. They had one guy working and I get it he's trying to make drinks and take orders, but come on. He was moving at a snails pace. After waiting 25-30 minutes I just asked for a refund. I have places to be and I'm sure others do too. There were other people too looking at their watches. Sorry qargo, never coming back to this one. read more

Qargo is a nationwide chain of coffee shops serving Lavazza coffee. This location also offers a large selection of pastries and desserts from local wholesaler Bindi Bakery. They are on the ground floor of a new condo building, so the place is sparkling clean and ultra modern, almost to a fault. Cookie cutter corporate vibes. The space is large, with ample seating. The baristas were kind, personable, and well trained on making great espresso drinks. I got an Iced Americano with a splash of oat milk, which was excellent. Lavazza makes great espresso, and it shined in this drink. The variety in the bakery case was impressive, but everything was wildly overpriced ($9 for a donut?), and nothing looked particularly good. It seemed like the items had been sitting in that refrigerated case for a long time. The Cornetto All'albicocca confirmed my suspicions. It tasted like a stale Pillsbury Crescent roll, with a small blob of congealed apricot jam within. Stick to coffee here. read more

The inside is really cute; it has a sort of clean, modern vibe. There are a ton of tables (plus more outside) and free WiFi, so I was able to get a lot of work done. I will rate this place ZERO stars! I bought 3 boba drinks, 2 pastries, and 2 sandwiches for almost $60, but everything was tasteless; they just put water and boba in our drinks! As much as I wanted to like this place because of how cute the inside is. I dont. We ordered our drinks online as you can "skip the line" at 1033 and for some reason it says coffee will be ready at 1034, impossible. We received our drink at 1051. Multiple people ordered up at the register and received their orders before ours. Literally latte, almond milk, syrup-- there's supposedly a glitch on the mobile orders because theres a option that you can order "sweet cold foam" even with hot drinks. We can hear a barista saying "i dont know why people order that for hot drinks, people keep clicking it and clicking it, it's ridiculous!" not sure if that was word for word but if customers can hear you, thats pretty loud. We even asked (when we asked about our order) "so no cold foam right?" He said "no most we can do is whip cream, i dont know why the app does that". Just educate your customers instead :) whip not cold foam. We were literally in store while ordering. LOL where's your manners, use your inside voice if you want to talk crap about your customers. You literally made us feel dumb. Your customers help you thrive in business, did you forget? We like the idea of putting your own syrups but thats pretty much it. The coffee (Americano) is reasonably priced. The order taker was friendly and greeted me as I walked in which gave me a welcoming vibe. The barista silently placed my Americano in front of me. My Americano was very hot which is how I prefer my coffee. The interior space is contemporary and modern.
