Spring Massage - I have psoriasis so the massage therapist wore gloves on request

Spring Massage

(123 reviews)

My last review of Spring Massage was over 9 years ago, and that's how long I've been coming here…read more It continues to amaze me that over the years, they've maintained the quality of their massages and listened to customer feedback to make improvements. I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. If you're looking for relaxing self care session that won't break the bank and walk away feeling like you're ready to face reality again, I highly recommend coming here to check it out for yourself. It's not a luxurious spa with all the fancy amenities. It's a small treat that's affordable enough to work it into a proper consistent self care routine.

One of the best massages I ever had. Had about 4 visits and I will be a repeated customer.read more

A very unique experience! Here is a step-by-step guide 1…read more Enter. Pay the entrance fee.$40 2. You are given an electronic key, and a T-shirt and shorts. They are a jail bird orange. 3. Enter either the men's section or the women's. Find the locker number attached with your electronic key and take your shoes off. 4. Enter the main changing area and change into your clothes. 5. The mixed sex area has different kinds of saunas. I'm not sure if the type of sauna has any impact, however, there is a difference in temperature. The salt sauna seemed to be the hottest. Grab a cushion and go and lie inside one of the chosen saunas. There is even an ice room. 6. For the pools, go to the men's or women's section. This is where it gets a little uncomfortable. No clothes permitted. So it's complete nudity. There is a cold pool, a warm pool and a hot pool. You must shower before you enter to the pools. There is also a sauna and a steam room. Now for the services. There are multiple different kinds of services. I went for the foot massage, which was amazing. A shout out to Zaluda. This cost $70 for one hour. She was excellent. I also opted for a body scrub, which I've never had before. Boy was it beyond what I was expecting. There are two elderly ladies that have all the energy in the world that do this. You have to be completely nude and you lie down on a plastic covered table. It started off felt like someone rubbing my body with sandpaper. Ouch. I thought I would have to stop after a few moments. However, it got better and boy did dead skin get sloughed off. I was spun around, put in all sorts of awkward positions with one leg up in the air, my legs wide apart, my arms above my head, both front back and sides. As awkward as it was, I felt thoroughly clean at the end. She intermittently through water over me with a bucket. Things that concerned me: - you need to have your ID with you, which they keep at the front desk. They do return it once you have paid for all of your services. - nudity. I was not expecting this. My fault for not reading the reviews before. One gets used to it after a while, but it took me a moment. Overall, this is a great place to relax and rejuvenate. It is clean and the people working here were very nice. A great spa day.

One star, and unfortunately that's coming from someone who used to be a regular…read more I've been coming to Jeju for years and have spent a lot of money here on visits and services. It used to be a place I'd happily recommend to people looking to relax and reset. That changed recently when it became clear they are not welcoming to motorcycles. As someone who rides, that's a pretty disappointing stance to see from a business I've supported for so long. I'm not interested in supporting places that single out riders or create an unwelcoming environment for people simply based on how they arrive. It's a shame, because the facility itself has always been solid and I used to enjoy coming here. But culture matters. If a business doesn't want to be welcoming to the riding community, that's their choice--but it also means they won't be getting any more of my business. Plenty of other places out there that are happy to welcome everyone who walks through the door. ‍

I was in this area for work and I was in so much pain from sleeping weird on my shoulder the night…read morebefore that I googled massage place near me, read the reviews, and chose this one. They were able to get me in right away and Marshall my massage therapist literally took me from walking in with 8 out of 10 shoulder pain to like a 2 out of 10 it's actually remarkable. He didn't do any other BS massage work, which I don't think has ever happened when I walked into a massage place. He actually listened and understood my needs and did exactly what I needed to feel better. Between stretching muscle work he helped me understand how I got to the position where I was in the pain and had to prevent it in the future. I'm now going to be budgeting in a monthly visit here and driving from the city because I am so impressed and I walked out with so much relief. Definitely check this place out! 1

Nothing like a quality massage to escape from bodily discomfort and to feel utterly blissed out!…read more I entered Healing Touch of Norcross without an appointment but was able to be taken care of by Famina right away. She asked me about problem areas and then began the massage. In addition to having strong hands, she was considerate and very nice, making sure I was comfortable. An hour long massage was $60. I was offered the option of upgrading to a hot stones massage for $10 extra, and agreeing to that was the way to go. To soothe both the body and the mind, consider a visit to Healing Touch of Norcross!
