I purchased a 60 minute massage with essential oil & hot stone off Groupon. I'm always skeptical about the quality on Groupon purchases but this did Not disappoint!! I arrived early because a lot of massage places make you fill out paperwork showing any areas don't want touched, where pain is, etc.; however, there was only a temperature check & sign in. There wasn't anyone else there so I was able to start early. Lisa was AMAZING!! I upgraded to deep tissue and she used her elbows & forearms and really got the knots out. She was respectful and asked if the pressure was ok and if I was cold. I was happy she let me pick the scent of my essential oil (orange) because lavender and eucalyptus give me headaches and that's what most places automatically use. She even let me smell it first to make sure it was ok. A warm towel was used at the end to get off any oils. Very relaxing massage. I did hear a door bell go off at some point and she left the room to go check. She quickly returned but it might be safer to keep the door locked when she is the only Employee there and in a room with a client for security reasons. Water was provided at the end. Overall great experience!! Check Lisa out!! Don't let her size fool you~she's strong and does n excellent job. Everything was clean and she wore a mask. read more

In July of 2024, I had my second knee replacement and in Nov I was finally able get back to working my legs again. But since I had not been able to work my legs for months, I had many knots in them. Fortunately, I went to Massage Max and met Emily. Thru the deep massages she has provided for me, much of the pain in my legs and back has been greatly reduced. I visited Massage Maxx on a Wednesday, early afternoon. The place was very clean and organized. Mia was my therapist. I had a table shower only. They provide a sugar scrub for this service which is awesome! The one surprise for me was they don't wash the body first before applying the scrub. I did ask her to wash first, then apply the scrub which I supplied. She cheerfully accommodated my requestI I also provided new scrub gloves to prevent from using the one they use on all guest. The cost for this service is $30 for 20 min. However, they do not offer this as a stand alone, it must be purchased with a massage. That was disappointing. That limits the number of visits I will make to this location. I to receive a body scrub after I have hair removal from my abs, back and glutes. But they do not offer this service as a stand alone. If you want just a table shower my go to place is Massage Empress on Sugarloaf, near Sugarloaf Mills. They are professional and just like Massage M. There is no funny business (if you no what I mean). I tipped my therapist 50%. Because I had her scrub really hard to remove dead skin and black heads. This location provides robes and slippers for your use. I encourage folks to check them out and ask for Mia. I would have given them 5 stars but the fact that table shower cannot be purchased Ala Carte is a negative for me. Sometimes to create a loyal customer you have to be flexible and customize your services. I get a massage or TS at least every other week and I tip well, even if the service is just ok. Came in on a weekday without an appointment and requested a 90-minute massage. The therapist working then pulled out a ruler and began pointing to various add-on services on a menu board. It seems this place charges extra for hot stones and table showers when others include it with the regular price. It took a little while to figure out she was telling me all these prices as she wanted me to pay before the massage. I handed her my debit card and she attempted to run it and the card machine prompted her to enter a tax amount. She then handed the machine to me and I informed her that I did not work there and did not know what to put in for their tax amount. She made a video call to someone else to help her and they yelled in Chinese back and forth at each other for a while. This conversation resulted in her telling me my card was declined and asked me to go get cash and pointed at the Chili's in the same parking lot. I told her "Chili's is not going to give me cash, there is nothing wrong with this card, if I leave I am not coming back". More yelling with the person on the phone before she set my card on the counter and opened the camera app on her phone to take a picture of my debit card. I asked her "please don't take a picture of my card" but she continued so I had to grab my card off the counter to prevent her from taking a picture of it. At that point, I just walked out.
