We live in Nashville and I miss having a Korean spa around after having had many visits to a very large famous Korean spa in Dallas. I have visited ATL before just for a visit to a local competitor which had grown disappointing. We are SO GLAD we visited this place! It was clean and a nice size! Some of these (been to them in Dallas/ATL/Chicago/NY) can be smaller. This one has nice large saunas though not clearly marked as to temp*. I like to know these things. Not one of them was very warm at all but they were all very comfortable. The restaurant area is large as well and has lots of offerings, we tried several different drinks and food during the day. Honestly the food wasn't very good and the drinks are pre-processed so very sweet. We ended up just drinking water. The food we had was a fried. I started with 3 roasted eggs and it was the best thing I had. There may have been better options but we had planned to eat a nice meal that evening so no biggie. The wet area only has 2 hot tubs, both were the same temp* and neither had jets. The showers are nice and clean. The sauna was nice and hot :-) I personally like a nice quiet subdued environment but this one was not controlled that way and got a bit roudy the later it got. We both indulged in services. My husband a 80min massage deep tissue massage and I had the 90 min scrub/oil massage treatment. Both were done very well! My person was "#8" and I would highly recommend her. It is more costly than most to get in - $39 pp. We knew we would be getting services and food so we bought the $500 gift card deal which includes 2 entrances. This easily covered all we spent, including tip, and we had $$ left over but it had gotten very busy so we weren't able to get in for a 30min reflexology session. So we left with money which means we have to Go Back! #GirlsTrip I saw many first timers (forgetting to take your shoes off is a rookie mistake) Do yourself a favor and make time to visit! I would suggest another day than Saturday but if you get there early (10am) and leave by 5pm, as we did, you will still have plenty of time to relax and have services completed.

Having visited jeju sauna, I did have an idea but it's been a while since I had my last trip to the sauna. The do have several sections located a large map in the hall way. There is a 2nd level as well. The hot tub is mandatory fully nude fyi!! Something to consider if you want to go with your shy friends. I was definitely eyeing the body scrub in the hot tub room. Wishing I did it! Instead we opted for a couples massage. They have a signup board by the entrance where you sign up and return with your assigned time. I will say the massage was pricy and I think we're going to do the scrub next time since it's exclusively available here. Food that we tried was the bimbimbap and the strawberry smoothie. Definitely decent for the location. Overall not bad for the admission price and fun experience.

Enter either the men's section or the women's. Find the locker number attached with your electronic key and take your shoes off. 4. Enter the main changing area and change into your clothes. 5. The mixed sex area has different kinds of saunas. I'm not sure if the type of sauna has any impact, however, there is a difference in temperature. The salt sauna seemed to be the hottest. Grab a cushion and go and lie inside one of the chosen saunas. There is even an ice room. 6. For the pools, go to the men's or women's section. This is where it gets a little uncomfortable. No clothes permitted. So it's complete nudity. There is a cold pool, a warm pool and a hot pool. You must shower before you enter to the pools. There is also a sauna and a steam room. Now for the services. There are multiple different kinds of services. I went for the foot massage, which was amazing. A shout out to Zaluda. This cost $70 for one hour. She was excellent. I also opted for a body scrub, which I've never had before. Boy was it beyond what I was expecting. There are two elderly ladies that have all the energy in the world that do this. You have to be completely nude and you lie down on a plastic covered table. It started off felt like someone rubbing my body with sandpaper. Ouch. I thought I would have to stop after a few moments. However, it got better and boy did dead skin get sloughed off. I was spun around, put in all sorts of awkward positions with one leg up in the air, my legs wide apart, my arms above my head, both front back and sides. As awkward as it was, I felt thoroughly clean at the end. She intermittently through water over me with a bucket. Things that concerned me: - you need to have your ID with you, which they keep at the front desk. They do return it once you have paid for all of your services. - nudity. I was not expecting this. My fault for not reading the reviews before. One gets used to it after a while, but it took me a moment. Overall, this is a great place to relax and rejuvenate. It is clean and the people working here were very nice. A great spa day.

It used to be a place I'd happily recommend to people looking to relax and reset. That changed recently when it became clear they are not welcoming to motorcycles. As someone who rides, that's a pretty disappointing stance to see from a business I've supported for so long. I'm not interested in supporting places that single out riders or create an unwelcoming environment for people simply based on how they arrive. It's a shame, because the facility itself has always been solid and I used to enjoy coming here. But culture matters. If a business doesn't want to be welcoming to the riding community, that's their choice--but it also means they won't be getting any more of my business. Plenty of other places out there that are happy to welcome everyone who walks through the door. ‍

When I booked my appointment, I specifically requested a deep tissue massage and was told it would be available. However, once I arrived and met with my therapist, I was informed that deep tissue was "no longer offered" due to policy. When I asked why, she said she didn't know and added that the policy wasn't to protect the therapist. I explained that this was the service I booked and expected to receive, but she continued repeating that it was simply against policy. While I don't expect every therapist to be overly warm or chatty, her attitude came across as short, dismissive, and rude. The room felt tense, and I was never able to relax. At the end, she didn't walk me back to the pick-up point, she just pointed and walked away. The entire interaction was uncomfortable. I shared all of this with the onsite manager, Stoney, who offered a 10% discount, stating that was the maximum he could provide. I also asked that the automatic gratuity be removed so I could tip on my own terms, but he said that wasn't possible, even though the service was well over $200. He assured me that the therapist would be spoken to and mentioned that they've received complaints about her before. He told me I should expect a follow-up email or call. Nearly a week later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called back. Stoney said they still hadn't met with her yet but that they would soon, and again told me to expect follow-up. It has now been almost a month, and I have not heard from anyone. On a positive note, the bar attendant, Ariel (in the winery), was an absolute breath of fresh air, kind, attentive, and welcoming. She is the only reason I would even give 2 stars rating this visit. This is not my first time visiting Château Élan Spa, and I've always had great experiences in the past, which makes this all the more disappointing. I truly hope they address these issues, because the level of service I received on this visit did not reflect the standard I've come to expect from this spa.
