We have been here regularly for several years. They are fantastic. The couples massage is really great.

I have been going here for the last five years whenever I have needed a little relaxation or have had a pain issue that needed resolving. The owners are super sweet! When I was dealing with sciatic pain during my last pregnancy, I came and saw Tom, who gave me a prenatal massage that greatly helped relieve the discomfort. His wife works the front desk and manages appointments, and she always has the nicest smile and best demeanor when you walk in. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment and they truly give you an hour long massage, not like some places where they charge you at for an hour but really it's more like 45 minutes. I visited ATL Massage for a second visited. They are very professional, they have a person working at the front desk the entire time. The place is clean, organized and well run. They will confirm you appointment the day before and no deposit is required. They also have the best prices in town. $50 for an hour, $75 for 90 min. All masseuse are professionally trained and certified. There certificates are listed in the lobby area. They don't offer Body scrubs, Self showers or Table showers, just massages. Their bathrooms are clean and the waiting room was comfortable. They ensure you get the time on the table you paid for. My last massage therapist (E for short), did a very good job with my massage. She spent majority of the time on my back (which seems to be a theme with therapist, I get it it's a large muscle, but so are the legs). I share with her my shoulder problems. And she did work my shoulders for a bit of time. I was disappointed that not much time was spent on my Pecs, and Quads. She indicated that she did not massage the abdominal muscles? This was disappointing as a Physique Competitor, it's important to me that all muscles massaged. She said it was a policy of ATL Massage. I know therapist are trained to massage all muscles. So that was disappointing. I will also share that my previous massage at ATL M, included ab work? Full body, is full body unless someone ask for an area not to be massaged. One more point to make here, if you like to engage with your therapist during your massage then E is probably not for you. She is stoic and wore headphones during my massage. This made it difficult to give her positive feedback or communicate with her. Don't get me wrong S she is a very good massage therapist. So if you want someone who will disconnect and just massage you W is your person. Finally, the rooms are not sound proof. People were often talking and laughing as they walked through the hallway. I would recommend they add a policy for clients and staff to speak softly and no talking in the hallway. It can be disturbing to guest trying to relax and enjoy their massage. I have recommended this location to several others. It's a great place to try they have lots of therapist and could become a favorite place once I find the right therapist. On the recommendation of my Chiropractor, I made an appointment at ATL Massage. The process for setting the appointment was fine and the price was good. Upon entering, I explained that my chiropractor requested I loosen up my shoulders and neck area so neck and shoulder adjustments could be more successful. I reserved a one-hour appointment and received all the minutes. However this is where the fun ends. My masseuse, Tom, started gently enough, but soon became very rough and the massage became painful. I quickly explained that it felt as if he were tearing my skin, and he explained that my facia was tight and he was a trained professional. I was in a lot of pain as he worked on my arms (not my target area). I asked him repeatedly to ease up. He also worked on my upper pectoral muscles near my clavicle, which was also very rough. In both arms and clavicle areas I am left with bruises and a burst blood vessel in my right bicep. (see pictures). I kept telling him to ease up a bit but he continued to work on me very hard. He also used the cupping technique on my back in several places. He was very aggressive with the cupping, to the extent that my chiropractor, whom I saw immediately afterward, was in shock and disappointment that I had been treated aggressively. After I returned home I saw in the mirror - purple the color of a plum on all of my "cupping" areas, especially the two at the top of my shoulders. (see pictures). While I know some discoloration is expected, this is painful and a lot of excess discoloration and swelling. I was also in pain for several days afterward, and the bruising bled into the middle of my back as it drained. Please be warned that, if your masseuse (at any establishment) refuses to reduce the intensity of the massage, you should feel free to demand he stop. I felt uncomfortable and vulnerable and too much of a nice person to just get up and demand he stop the painful treatment. I waited a week and a half to post this review, so that I would have an even tempered review. I am still horrified.. and will not be back, especially not to use Tom. read more

I don't usually go out of my way to review businesses on yelp but I couldn't help to share my experiences with ATL Massage. First of all, it's hard to find consistency in any business. However, I was very impressed with everyone at ATL. They are very beyond professional and mostly, they are educated and understand the anatomy of human body. If you are tired of pathetic oil massage, look no further and make your appointment with ATL. They are usually booked out 1 week ahead. That ought to tell you how legit this business is. read more

ATL Massage is the ONLY place I will go to get a massage. I lived with back pain for a long time and nothing helped it. When I started going to atl massage, it fixed my back pain. I go to Ju and my husband goes to Tom. They are very particular and know exactly what kind of massage I need. Went to Atl Massage for my husband's birthday and got the couples massage. I saw a sign near the Home Depot and called. The guy was nice and gave me a Saturday appointment. I was able to call back and change my appointment time with no hassel and they even texted me a sweet reminder. The checking was simple and the rooms were clean, quiet and noice. Carol and Anna worked on my husband and I. We've never felt more comfortable and relaxed. They give a great massage with lite conversation.
