This was my second time visiting this massage place. My first experience was excellent--the therapist was very professional and had great communication skills. Unfortunately, today's experience was disappointing and unpleasant: 1. I paid an extra $10 for a deep tissue massage, but it was nothing close to what I expected. It felt very light, almost like a beginner was giving the massage. Definitely not worth the upgrade. 2. The therapist left the room 4 or 5 times during the session. While two of those times were understandable, only once did she clearly explain where she was going. At one point, it seemed like she was more focused on her tip than on providing a quality massage. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because my first visit was truly excellent. However, after today, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending it. read more

I had a deep tissue massage with Sisi yesterday. She was AMAZING!!! When getting a deep tissue massage, sometimes the massage isn't as deep tissue as I'd like. I would ask for more pressure, then. But, Sisi did a perfect massage without me having to make special requests so that I could relax and enjoy my session. I hurt my lower back the day before. I go here at least once a month. Sometimes I make an appointment, sometimes I take a chance and go as a walk in. Everyone here is so friendly and patient. I get the 60 minute massage and they do not skimp me on the time. I always get my full 60 minutes. They really take their time. I came here on a Tuesday at 3pm. I didn't need an appointment , I just walked in. They seated me very fast. I had the head to toe body massage for only $40 for 60 min. It was well worth it! I have been going here for over a year now. It is totally awesome. If you have a particular area of concern, just let them know before you begin and they will spend extra time there. I had a hand and hip problem and they always work it out well. They are extremely nice and I have taken my girlfriend there because she is also Chinese and it gives her a chance to talk and make friends and keep up on what is going on. Called ahead about reflexology, scheduled 30 minute appt. Got there, and they spent 15 just soaking my feet, then did a so-so job. When it was finished, I was charged DOUBLE of what I was quoted. I asked about the discrepancy, and she said that she was told it was for an hour. I didn't receive an hour of service, but instead of arguing, I just won't be back. Just had a 60 minute massage and 30 minute reflexology and it was not good. I have had much better massage experiences. All my muscles still hurt. The staff did not communicate very well with me, and too many things went wrong that has led me to believe they don't really care. First, my towel sheet was stained and she was reluctant to change it. She also kept coming into the room too quickly, not allowing me enough time to undress. I was not asked what massage I wanted until I got on the table. I also wanted to use the bathroom after massage, but they wanted me to pay first. Do not go here, it's not worth it. read more

Went for a reflexology (foot) session and got Elaine. She had no idea what reflexology is and had a TERRIBLE attitude. When I asked her to focus more on the "ball" of my foot, she didn't understand what I was asking. I asked her questions about the correlation between the foot and it's relation to other body parts, she explain it, got frustrated and told me to look at the chart on the wall! Then she had the nerve to ask me why did I come there?! She also used vaseline (I've never been anywhere that uses that or any lotion/cream/oil for foot massage) and tried to tell me it was a lotion they just poured in the VASELINE CONTAINER ....like I couldn't tell it was vaseline! Saw some recommendations for this place by a few yelpers, so decided to try it out. Also saw this as a 'middle ground' from here to the Jamaican restaurant I posted about earlier. I went here, and at first, it looked a little sketchy, however after a few minutes, I saw a few females go into the place to get a massage as well (mother & daughter, as well as others), so figured it was a legit type of place. Downloaded a coupon off of their website as well ($49.99 for a 1 hour massage), and took that with me. They didn't ask for payment up front, so it was another good sign that it was a legit place. My masseuse was a lady named Lisa (I think that was her name). She was a middle aged Chinese women who knew how to do deep tissue and was able to kneed out some of my back aches. They played some good 'elevator' type of music, used some oils and then a towel to clean you off when they were done. They even used some hot stones, which I'm not a fan of, but still pretty cool. For those who were seeking them to dig deeper, they had the bars going across the ceiling for the women to walk on your back. I was never a fan of this, however it was an option for others who may enjoy that. Overall, it was a clean place located in a small strip mall with ample parking. It looks like a legitimate establishment, and according to the front desk lady and the masseuse, they have both worked there for quite a few years now. read more

The service here was a little invasive, beyond the scope of a typical deep tissue massage. However, the biggest critique of this establishment is the customer service. I've asked, repeatedly for a detailed receipt (as required by our insurance for reimbursement). Not only has the staff not accommodated me, but the response has been a curt "It's a massage. I called for an appointment the day before and got the requested time. When I arrived you could tell it was very busy. I did have a 10-minute wait but it really was worth it and I did have a complete hour. I requested Lisa after reading all the reviews and she was wonderful. She explained why the phone kept ringing (their manager had off that day). The massage was great, she just found all the 'bad' spots on my shoulders and even on my thumb. I received a 1-hour massage from Elaine that really did the trick. She worked my back and thighs really well, I felt great afterwards. But because my back was so knotted, she spent a lot of time on it and I didn't get much on the front side. I did not explain that I have a problem with blood clots in my quads, and we were running out of time, so I didn't get much work there. She was very nice and there were no interruptions. In another review, a client described her as terrible but I think the client was a person that you could never please. Elaine was very friendly and excellent at her job.
