Unfortunately, today's experience was disappointing and unpleasant: 1. I paid an extra $10 for a deep tissue massage, but it was nothing close to what I expected. It felt very light, almost like a beginner was giving the massage. Definitely not worth the upgrade. 2. The therapist left the room 4 or 5 times during the session. While two of those times were understandable, only once did she clearly explain where she was going. At one point, it seemed like she was more focused on her tip than on providing a quality massage. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because my first visit was truly excellent. However, after today, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending it.

My last review of Spring Massage was over 9 years ago, and that's how long I've been coming here…read more It continues to amaze me that over the years, they've maintained the quality of their massages and listened to customer feedback to make improvements. I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. If you're looking for relaxing self care session that won't break the bank and walk away feeling like you're ready to face reality again, I highly recommend coming here to check it out for yourself. It's not a luxurious spa with all the fancy amenities. It's a small treat that's affordable enough to work it into a proper consistent self care routine.

First, let me start by saying I've been here two times, Ms Donna's level of customer service is above and beyond. She's courteous, down to earth, a great listener and she's very hands on with her appointments which I appreciate. My first visit I enjoyed, I could have used a bit more pressure, but nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. My first massage therapist was a lovely woman, so sorry but I can't remember her name. Though I was still wanting to be massaged with a bit more firmness, I was impressed by the service that I received. My last visit was for my birthday in July. My massage therapist's name that visit was Andrea. Andrea was polite, professional and amazing at what she does. I explained to her that I perform physical work, and the areas I wanted the most attention and pressure on. This amazing woman worked me over I tell you!!! I did request a deep tissue, and that's exactly what she gave me. From head to toe, she applied deep tissue massage in true fashion. After my massage, I was so impressed, that I scheduled my Husband an appointment for exactly two weeks later. I was a bit sore after my massage, but that is to be expected with a true to form deep tissue massage. Even right now as I'm typing this my traps and my back are much more loose and relaxed. I was blown away by the outstanding, top notch service that I received on both of my visit. I would recommend this place to anyone as quick as you could blink. 5 stars and hats off to Ms. Donna and her entire staff.

The manager told me if they didn't have other clients waiting, it would be no trouble. I enjoyed the ambiance and calm the place exuded, and my stress levels were high when I got there, but I felt amazing when I left. You will hear other people if you opt to pay attention to it on a busy day, but the music is a lovely distraction from noise interference, and I loved Elizabeth's skill and dexterity as a massage therapist. I'm pretty shocked to see a one-star review for Spa Stinny, and I wouldn't let that affect your decision to visit the spa. Their prices are ridiculously low, and they don't sales push you into their membership plan. The manager was in attendance, and she was incredibly polite and professional. I'm just glad I know how to use my GPS and redirect from a major intersection blockage, because I would never presume a receptionist's customer service relies on her inability to be a navigation system. There are also at least four different back-roads options. When I went to book my appointment online, I noticed a very clear policy on cancellation fees, and were I to show up with my party over an hour late during what looks to be Valentine's rush week during couples bliss, I certainly wouldn't whine, rant and cry scam and foul. Spa Stinny is certainly no scam, but unfortunately they can't control bogus reviews from adults who lack individual accountability and the ability to take personal responsibility for their shortcomings. I've been to deluxe spas, mid-level and smaller franchises, and what Spa Stinny lacks in frills and luxury, they make up with great massages, great customer service, and excellent pricing. My husband and I will both be getting a membership with them, and I look forward to a relaxing massage every month for 2015.

I actually picked this spa because it had good ratings in the area. The spa itself is very clean, well decorated, the front desk staff were friendly and my massage therapist was friendly. But the service I got I feel cheated out of my money for. I basically paid to have someone slather lotion all over my body and nothing more. There was no massage technique used, and it seemed on multiple occasions my therapist was either distracted by something or falling asleep because her hands would frequently just go still on my body for several seconds before starting up again. It was awkward and I wasn't sure if I should ask her what's going on or not, lol. Like I genuinely feel like I paid someone random and completely untrained off the street to give me a massage. I left with my hair in mats too because the scalp massage was basically just her twirling her fingers around in my hair and tangling it up. My experience was only with one massage therapist, so it's very possible that the other ones working there are great at their jobs. But I definitely want to spend money on a massage that doesn't have me considering getting up and walking out halfway through again I'm not saying don't go here but definitely proceed with caution if you're expecting formal massage technique.
