Spring Massage - I have psoriasis so the massage therapist wore gloves on request

    Spring Massage

    (123 reviews)

My last review of Spring Massage was over 9 years ago, and that's how long I've been coming here…read more It continues to amaze me that over the years, they've maintained the quality of their massages and listened to customer feedback to make improvements. I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. If you're looking for relaxing self care session that won't break the bank and walk away feeling like you're ready to face reality again, I highly recommend coming here to check it out for yourself. It's not a luxurious spa with all the fancy amenities. It's a small treat that's affordable enough to work it into a proper consistent self care routine.

One of the best massages I ever had. Had about 4 visits and I will be a repeated customer.read more

I definitely have a new favorite massage therapist, give Jennifer a try. She has a nice firm touch, with a great technique and spends plenty of time on your back which I really enjoy.

I've been eyeing this spa since I saw the sign go up. My husband recently surprised me and booked…read moreus an appointment for our wellness day. On our way to our appointment we got a call from the spa that one of our massage therapist got in a car accident so they would have to move our appointment times about 2 hours out if we both wanted to be serviced at the same time. We were both offered an enhancement add on due to the appointment time change which we both appreciated. My husband got the Gliding Cupping enhancement since he was getting over a cough and I got the Herbal Heat Therapy enhancement The spa is very clean and serine. The set up of the draperies instead of walls and doors gives the space a sanctuary vibe. The ocean sound that they play helps your mind stay in the moment and enjoy the relaxing experience. The only two negatives is that since the rooms are divided by curtains instead of doors you can hear people walking and chairs moving and at some points I couldn't tell if someone was walking in my room or if they were in the room next door so focusing on that kept me from being relaxed. The 2nd con is that the spa does not accept HSA debit card payments which we normally use for our wellness day services. Overall we had a great first experience and both look forward to coming back and supporting our new local massage spa.
