Decided to treat my mom to her first ever professional massage for her birthday. I searched yelp for the perfect place and found Wellbeing Massage Studio. After looking through their website I stumbled across a promotion for an hour long body massage for a special price of $40. I then called and made an appointment which was easy and quick, I even asked about the special and the woman who answered said yes that's still applicable. The day arrived and we got to the location about 20 minutes early but they put us into rooms immediately. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, The massage was wonderful, even for the $10 charge for oil. Now this is where my almost 5 star review turns completely around. After leaving the room and feeling refreshed I was greeted by the woman who did my massage as well as the woman who did my moms. They told me it was $120 and I simply asked if the special was applied to that price. After asking that I looked up to scowls on their faces and was questioned as to where I saw such a price. When I told them it was from their own website I was asked to show them the promotion I found, after they argued with eachother in another language for almost 5 minutes. That was fine and after I showed them they said the price was now $100 ($80 for both massages and $20 added for oil). My card was swiped and I was handed the receipt to sign, but before I could even write in a tip amount or anything I was confronted in the most unprofessional and rude way. I was questioned about the tip and if it would be cash or on my card. I said I was going to go next door to grab cash for the tip. Again I was met with hard stares from both and followed by more arguing in another language. I thanked them and went next door to Kroger. Let me start by saying, I am and always have been a great tipper. I appreciate hard work and exceptional customer service. But this experience rubbed me the wrong way. I felt harassed and immediately the euphoria from the massage melted away to anger. I was shopping for a few things and when I turned around what did I see, one of the women were following me! My mom actually ran into her and she said she "needed toilet paper" but we saw her leave without purchasing anything. I have never felt so uncomfortable and hunted down! That is unprofessional and just extremely rude. Needless to say I left without leaving a tip and will never return to this establishment. I read one review where they had the audacity to ask a customer for a bigger tip than what was given. Such a shame and disappointment. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional establishment with more appreciative employees.

The place is nice and quiet. The staff is great with their customers and pays attention to their body pains.

Spring Massage - I have psoriasis so the massage therapist wore gloves on request

Spring Massage

My last review of Spring Massage was over 9 years ago, and that's how long I've been coming here…read more It continues to amaze me that over the years, they've maintained the quality of their massages and listened to customer feedback to make improvements. I pretty much exclusively get foot massages because I have severe psoriasis and I'm really self conscious. The massage therapists here are extremely understanding of my health issues and my decreased mobility over the years. They always make it comfortable and welcoming for me and are mindful of my autoimmune flareups. Some days I can't move properly, have zero mobility in my hands, and they accommodate me and help me move a bit better. Some days I scratch myself silly and it looks like terrifying, but they still help me find peace by putting the lotion on my calves and loosen up the muscles. I always add CBD (additional $10) but it helps calm my skin down a lot and it's great for my rheumatoid arthritis flareups. The quality and care Spring Massage delivers is comparable to those of high end "spas" without the hefty price tag. The prices are more than reasonable, their massage therapists are incredibly skilled and are willing to listen to your needs. I overheard another customer who came here for a pregnancy massage, and she had a few special requests. The owners listened and made sure they understood her completely before setting her up with a massage therapist. If you're looking for relaxing self care session that won't break the bank and walk away feeling like you're ready to face reality again, I highly recommend coming here to check it out for yourself. It's not a luxurious spa with all the fancy amenities. It's a small treat that's affordable enough to work it into a proper consistent self care routine.

One of the best massages I ever had. Had about 4 visits and I will be a repeated customer.read more

Well, I think I've found a keeper. I booked online for a Sunday @2pm. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile and a pleasant attitude. I signed in and was promptly taken to a room, Lights were dimmed soft music playing (relaxing). I was offered water and my tech would be with me shortly. My tech name was Briana. Brains entered the room with a wooden pale of water to soak my feet for 10min. Nothing is added to the water. After 10min of soaking, Briana entered the room and listened to my concerns I have with my foot. She began the process of massaging my problem areas. She took note of some problem areas within my ankle and explained some factors. Briana had knowledge about the foot massage practices. I was well pleased with her work. I will return to this establishment. Thanks Briana

They explained that only 2 people could be in a room together so we had to split up. This place is for sure not an upscale salon however it was clean. I decided to get the 40 foot massage. I did not like my technician. The massage was just not great . She seemed to just not know what she was doing. All of us in my party seemed to have different experiences. It's always nice to have some self care time but i would not revisit .

I had seen it several times while eating at Applebee's but the open sign had not been on, that day the open sign was on. When I went in I was greeted by a lady with lots of eye makeup and glitter on her eyebrows. I inquired if they did foot massage, I was told yes and quickly escorted into a room with just a massage table. Before I could get my shoes off she was trying to come in the room even though she could clearly see through the crack in the door that I was still fully dressed. When she did come in to start the massage she didn't ask anything about my desired pressure amount just started lightly rubbing my back. Then she got the oil and started rubbing that on my back, legs, etc but wasn't actually giving me a massage. She stopped numerous times to ask if I liked it. The "massage" was about the equivalent of a girlfriend with no massage training giving her boyfriend a massage, it was that bad. After rubbing oil around on me for a while she wiped me off and I turned over. More rubbing of oil around. While on my back I noticed they had rails for back walking but the massage table wasn't even under them. I thought that maybe she was going to start the foot massage I had requested when I walked in but no, she rubbed her thumb up and down the bottom of each foot a couple of times as she continued her lame excuse for a massage. When she was done I checked the clock, less than 45 minutes had passed since I had set my phone down prior to the massage. Of course, she tried to come in again while I was getting dressed. She charged me for a full hour, I was ready to just leave at that point so I paid and left. Never again!

He was aggressive where I needed it, found all the key spots before I even mentioned them, and was gentle where it was necessary. I can't explain further about the skill that Greg had, I truly have never had a massage where so much focus and care went into the perfect spots. The reason I do not give it 5 stars is because the massaging table felt very odd, did not contour to the face well. I think if the face holder for the tables was adjusted for more comfort and if the other masseuses are as amazing, then this place deserves a 5! $60 for an experienced deep tissue massage? Not bad at all! Will definitely be back.

I came inside and the interior was dimmed with some relaxing piano music going. Was greeted and ask what kind of massage i wanted. Cause my legs were tired i did the 40 minute feet and 20 minute back. The massage was nice and relaxing i think i dozed off a couple time. The feet massage did the job but the massage therapist hands were a little lighter than i would want. The chair back massage was good. I had a tight knot in my back and she was able get it loose. Overall the experience was good, decent price for what you get. Interior was a little dated and wish the massage therapist was a little stronger but overall it was a good experience. Definitely would come back when i'm in Atlanta!

My wife and I have been getting 90-minute massages here for about a year. Averaging 2x per month,…read morewe spend more than $500/month and tip very well. I treat my masseur with the upmost respect and tonight we left extremely disappointed. You can tell when your masseur is not completely present. He kept moving his cell phone around the table as he worked, he kept pausing and his speed and rhythm kept changing. It was very disruptive and not relaxing. And I could tell he was distracted. He did not follow the typically routine and I didn't even get hot stone. I finally raised my head to see a game on his phone which he seemed to be playing the entire massage. The last thing anyone wants during a massage is conflict, so I lay there disappointed and angry, waiting for it to end. I told the woman at the front desk as we left and she apologized. I asked her what they do when you only get half a massage. She offered me $20 off. My wife was angry and said "I guess we have to find a new place." The rest of the night I have this awful feeling of disappointment. I have treated him well and I feel so disrespected. The worst part, I have been recovering from an injury and really needed this massage. And it was terrible.
