The feet massage did the job but the massage therapist hands were a little lighter than i would want. The chair back massage was good. I had a tight knot in my back and she was able get it loose. Overall the experience was good, decent price for what you get. Interior was a little dated and wish the massage therapist was a little stronger but overall it was a good experience. I treat my masseur with the upmost respect and tonight we left extremely disappointed. You can tell when your masseur is not completely present. He kept moving his cell phone around the table as he worked, he kept pausing and his speed and rhythm kept changing. It was very disruptive and not relaxing. And I could tell he was distracted. He did not follow the typically routine and I didn't even get hot stone. I finally raised my head to see a game on his phone which he seemed to be playing the entire massage. The last thing anyone wants during a massage is conflict, so I lay there disappointed and angry, waiting for it to end. I told the woman at the front desk as we left and she apologized. I asked her what they do when you only get half a massage. She offered me $20 off. My wife was angry and said "I guess we have to find a new place." The rest of the night I have this awful feeling of disappointment. I have treated him well and I feel so disrespected. The worst part, I have been recovering from an injury and really needed this massage. And it was terrible.

It does not feel like a very low, dimly lit room, you can close your eyes and relax. After a while, you can definitely feel it in your eyes, especially when they turn you over. Second, the massage lady kept taking calls and getting appointments set up - TWICE. While making a first call, she just used one hand to massage my neck and the second time she actually walked out of the room to take a call and talk to another masseuse. She did apologize and gave me an extra 10 minutes, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Third, the technique was questionable. By all means, I am not a licensed in any of the massage techniques, but im sure stepping on someone's spine directly is a safe technique for relaxation. The room that I was shown had one of those bars on top of the bed so you can do thai-massage like technique where they step on the back to relieve pressure. Not only did this lady put her whole bodyweight on top of me (and im 6 foot 250 lbs guy, I can handle weight), but she was definitely stepping on my spine area, making the whole experience really nervous and unsettling. The thing about stepping on my back is that she really did not ask me if it is okay for her to step on my back. Luckily, I'm not one of those people who have medical conditions or rods in my spine or anything like that. But imagine if I were - this could have gone really bad. The interior is very welcoming, bright and simple. The entire place was very clean and the massage rooms were spacious. There is a huge room lined with massage chairs for foot massages. The tech was very gentle and asked questions before we started. Bonus points, this intro did not cut into my massage time. The pressure was gentle and firm, she obviously knew what she was doing. There was a slight aromatherapy smell they use and the calming music immediately put me at ease. Afterwards, I felt so much better and was in less pain then the day before. I highly recommend. For those who have bad experiences at massages, I suggest communicating with your therapist. No one is a mind reader. If their pressure is too much, speak up.
