Although theyre a Peruvian restaurant by name, the menu suggests theyre more Colombian (more fried meat platters). Big pictures in menu so you know what youre ordering. Delicious!! Food was amazing and the service even better. We had chaufa (sorry if misspelled) that was great, the calamari, the ceviche, and the Lomo Saltado. All amazing. My daughter broke a glass and spilled her soda embarrassing to say the least but they were so nice and came to clean up right away. You don't get service like that in most places. Had a great lunch here today. Agree the portions are really generous. I had the Churrasco and my husband who is dieting :-) had the tilapia with vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and the service was impeccable. I don't usually get seafood the first time I go to a restaurant but the paella looked delicious - will definitely be my next choice. Let's just say that they lost two customers. I've been here three times and with each experience it never got better. Expect to be waiting awkwardly in the front for a good 15-20 min if it's a busy day. In fact, I would HIGHLY recommend you to not go there on a busy day. Why? Customer service is going to lack. Orders will get mixed up and you will be waiting for another good 10-15 min for your food, and most likely for your check because this is exactly what happened to us. My boyfriend and I were excited to eat here because their food is good (not great because I've had better Peruvian food) and it was a BYOB place, so we brought two small wine bottles for us to drink along with our food. The place gets packed on busy nights and you're trying your best to not get in the way. While we were waiting, the waiter gave us the menu so that we could get our order ready, which helped because that way we could get our food faster. But did it really help? No. Once we were seated, the waiter asked us for our order and I noticed he didn't have a pad with him. I was skeptic that he would remember our order but when he repeated our order correctly, I was sort of relieved. Our drinks came by quick for sure but things began to go south as soon as we realized that the parties after us got their meals and we haven't received ours. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen and I asked another waiter to see where our food was because it's been 15-20 minutes and the other tables already got their food! Once the other waiter came by with our food, I realized that I didn't get the correct meal and our appetizer was supposed to be tostones, not maduros. (Eye roll and annoyed sigh). It took another good 10 min before I got my order right and voila, our original waiter came back apologizing for the mix up. As soon as he set the food down, I told him that I wanted two boxes and the check. His smile turned upside down and he began to look very nervous. Once he left, I prepared my things and told my boyfriend that we're going to eat this food at my house and enjoy our date night away from here. The waiter comes back and surprise surprise, with a free tiramisu dessert. He told us that we can't leave until we finish this dessert with a nervous laugh. Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant and I told him that and again, his smile faded. At this point, I'm so ticked. I told him to just get our boxes and that we want our check. Service magically came to us all of a sudden and another waiter came by to pick up our plates to put in the boxes and give us the check. I was fuming inside. Can you imagine the service for a big party of people? Oh man, I wouldn't recommend this place for sure. read more

I always get take outs from here or my husband will eat and order something to go. Today I came in and actually sat down with my husband any son. We ordered or drinks and food. We got our salad out and then the food I asked the young lady if she could get me an extra plate for me. Time passed I was half way done with my food I'm still waiting on my drink and plate. I had to grab the small plate under my husbands soup bowl to put my son some of my food. A couple walked in and ordered and got their drinks right away my husband had already finished and asked the lady for our drinks and she just looked at him and walked away. I finished my food still had time to whip the table down and take pictures of my son when finally they arrived with our drinks. My husband ordered jugo de mora and they gave him a shake. I loved this place due to the portion sizes and delicious food. However do no treat the guests as stupid. Do not have a coupon if you have no intention of honoring it. And please make sure your staff knows how to process a coupon. I'm disappointed that instead of trying to remedy a situation that was the restaurants fault, the server couldn't care less. Were should I start. Waitress didn't write down the orders (6 in total). Ask to have the eggs well done (that how I like them, specially if I am paying), they couldn't be more runny when served. One of the orders didn't come out, had to wait another 20 minutes for it, and share some of the food with the person that did get any so he wouldn't sit there watching everybody else eat. The fried pork was old, probably refried from the day before or earlier during the day or (hate to say) leftover from another order. Ask for a glass of plain water, waitress brought in a pitcher of water with pieces of lemons in it and when the bill came, they charged us $5.00 for it. We complained, they did not care. All we got was a "Now you know better the next time." They don't come back to the table to ask you if everything is ok. The food is ok at best, nothing out of the ordinary.
