Starting esith ambience, this is a quaint and perhaps underestimated restaurant from the outside, until you go inside... what a nice place!! The decor celebrates peruvian culture with tasteful and modern decor and murals and latin music playing in the background with Spanish channel TVs around the room as well. The Staff is courteous and helpful... although they could use a larger establishment because cleary the popularity of this place is growing and there is definitely a list to be seated. The service and hospitality is so friendly with great traditional peruvian appetizers at every table and a delicious offering of fresh 'chicha' and roasted maize kernels while you wait. Every dish portion was HUGE and well worth the budget friendly price. Two can share a plate here easily with leftovers to take home! The oeruvian season of every cuisine is authentic and on point... every single person in our party of seven was extremely satisfied with their dish. Even vegetarian/vegan options were made available for me upon request. Definitely a new favorite spot for me and my friends/family. And most certainly the BEST pervuvian food in our area to date!

Great service, and a nice little cozy sit down place! The food was fantastic with large portions especially for what they're priced at, will definitely come and order again!

The best Peruvian rotisserie chicken in the state! Just as delicious as the Perth Amboy location!

As a Peruvian, I love this place and I will NEVER stop coming here. This food is EXACTLY like Peru and that is not an exaggeration at all. I like this location more than their first one, it's great for dining in with family. Their pollo a la brasa is great and I think they even make it better than Peru and i got to compare it when i went to Peru recently! Lomo Saltado is great, not salty. Causa Acevichada was delicious omg, their ceviche was so good and their causa is always good, i've had their causa de atún too and it's great. Arroz con mariscos was perfect, rice is perfect and not mushy, greatly seasoned. Ceviche mixto is delicious too, fresh seafood ALWAYS. Don't miss out on their aji and salsa amarillo, both are delicious too! They have chicha morada which is always good

Good Peruvian Chicken and plenty of it. Convenient for a quick pick up. Also can and eat. It's a BYOB area if you choose to drink.

Horrible service, the food was good. The cashier was extremely rude almost as if she didn't want to be there.

The service needs to improve. The woman at cashier is rude. If you complain about an order. The restaurant will block your number.

Despite de high prices if you want to place an order by phone you better do it fast or they will hang up on you. Yes, you read it right.

Recently I had a hankering for a Rotisserie chicken and some Maduros so I decided to make a special trip. Pasion has its own parking lot (but I wound up parking in the Dollar Tree lot next door since I went shopping there too). Pasion is not the...most elegant looking restaurant. It looks rather old and aged (I do not know what year it actually opened). It's also oddly dim inside. Most of the interior is dedicated to seating and the counter where you order is towards the back. There is a bathroom off to the side. I ordered my food from a very nice lady and it came out rather quickly. When I got home I was surprised to find the chicken cut in a rather...rustic fashion. I'm used to rotisserie chickens cut into four, equal sized pieces but this was cut up into six pieces of varying sizes. Sadly, the chicken was rather dry but the green sauce that came with it was super tasty and spicy so dipping it into the sauce helped a lot. The Maduros were...not great. They had a bit of an oily taste to them that I've never tasted in Maduros before. It wasn't very pleasant. Based on other reviews here this place seems to have its fans and that's cool. This is a mom and pop business and I believe in supporting local businesses. I'm glad I tried this place, but I likely won't be gong back.

I ordered an inka cola, the cap was kind of dirty so not a great start. I got anticucho (beef heart) for an app, it was really tasty and flavorful, then came the chicken. I'll get back to that but they give you A LOT OF food here. One entree was enough for two. But back to the chicken, it was really tasty! i could tell they brine it. It was tender and hot, just how i like it. Would come back again. This is definitely not your instagram stop and shop but if you want good food, i think it's worth a try. I placed an online order through Slice for pickup. I set the pickup time way in advance to so that it would be a quick pick up for me since I needed to be somewhere right after. I arrived 15 mins late for the pick up time that I selected, but they did not have it. They didn't even start making it. So, I ended up sitting there while they made it. It was a slight inconvenience, but I will say that the food was delicious. Everything was seasoned well and it was the right temperature. Because I enjoyed the food so much, I figured I would give them a second chance to "redeem" themselves, and friends, they did it! Food was ready to be picked up when I arrived and it was delicious, just as it was the time before that. If you're looking to try some Peruvian Food, give Chicken Palace a try.

We initially tried to place a delivery order, but delivery wasn't available at the time due to a system/machine issue, so we had to go in person to order, which was disappointing. I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with all the works, which is similar to Chinese fried rice. The quality of the rice and the meat was very good and everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely salty. I was told soy sauce is added to the rice, and since I usually don't add soy sauce to my fried rice, the flavor was overpowering. If it weren't for the heavy saltiness, it would have been excellent, but I couldn't eat it. My friend ordered the traditional Peruvian ceviche, made with fresh fish, lime juice, red onion, sweet potato, and other ingredients. He added hot sauce and said the flavors were good, but something--possibly the lime or soy sauce--was very potent, to the point where even the hot sauce couldn't balance out the saltiness. Another friend ordered the Arroz Chaufa with shrimp and unfortunately had to throw it out as well due to the saltiness. It was a shame, especially for first-time customers. Overall, the food quality seemed good and the ingredients were fresh, but the salt level made the dishes unenjoyable for us. With better balance, these dishes could be really amazing.
