BYOB There was a birthday party happening when we came. If you reserve ahead of time I think this would be a good place for a birthday, except you have to figure out the music because there wasn't a DJ. There is space for dancing and pictures. The food was really good! The also have fresh juices. No issues with the service.

Went here for a late night bite, the food was just okay. I appreciated the quick service and hospitality. The interior is small to medium sized but, wasn't overly crowded.

One of the restaurants that was open after 8pm in the area - was seated immediately and had very friendly service. Absolutely delicious Peruvian food. Wide range of options for food and drink.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and the food was fresh and amazing. This restaurant is very festive and is a small family owned business in the middle of the Union center area. I ordered the fried red snapper with rice and onion salad, Which was delicious! The owner of the restaurant is very pleasant and tries to please her customers .. There is street parking in the front of the restaurant and a parking lot in the back of the restaurant .

The food is very delicious and fresh. We highly recommend lomo saltado and bistec a lo pobre. Also the Yuca a la Huncaina is delicious !

Tried their food at an event, the chaufa and carnitas were so good. Definitely get the flan for dessert! The owner was very nice as well.

The kind of confidence that doesn't announce itself, it just delivers. Then there's the crema de cilantro and aji, which basically tag team your taste buds and ask, "You good?" Yes. I'm great. Mind your business. This is not a, "Instagram made me do it" sandwich. This is a composed, disciplined, shut up and eat sandwich. Every ingredient is there on purpose. No freeloaders. The owner is a Peruvian chef who lived in Canada and now cooks in New Jersey, which explains why this sandwich has flavor, restraint, and zero patience for mediocrity. This isn't fusion, it's life experience on bread. Fair warning: eating this will ruin weaker sandwiches for you. You'll start asking questions. You'll judge more. You'll be disappointed elsewhere. We initially tried to place a delivery order, but delivery wasn't available at the time due to a system/machine issue, so we had to go in person to order, which was disappointing. I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with all the works, which is similar to Chinese fried rice. The quality of the rice and the meat was very good and everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely salty. I was told soy sauce is added to the rice, and since I usually don't add soy sauce to my fried rice, the flavor was overpowering. If it weren't for the heavy saltiness, it would have been excellent, but I couldn't eat it. My friend ordered the traditional Peruvian ceviche, made with fresh fish, lime juice, red onion, sweet potato, and other ingredients. He added hot sauce and said the flavors were good, but something--possibly the lime or soy sauce--was very potent, to the point where even the hot sauce couldn't balance out the saltiness. Another friend ordered the Arroz Chaufa with shrimp and unfortunately had to throw it out as well due to the saltiness. It was a shame, especially for first-time customers. Overall, the food quality seemed good and the ingredients were fresh, but the salt level made the dishes unenjoyable for us. With better balance, these dishes could be really amazing.

Recently I had a hankering for a Rotisserie chicken and some Maduros so I decided to make a special trip. Pasion has its own parking lot (but I wound up parking in the Dollar Tree lot next door since I went shopping there too). Pasion is not the...most elegant looking restaurant. It looks rather old and aged (I do not know what year it actually opened). It's also oddly dim inside. Most of the interior is dedicated to seating and the counter where you order is towards the back. There is a bathroom off to the side. I ordered my food from a very nice lady and it came out rather quickly. When I got home I was surprised to find the chicken cut in a rather...rustic fashion. I'm used to rotisserie chickens cut into four, equal sized pieces but this was cut up into six pieces of varying sizes. Sadly, the chicken was rather dry but the green sauce that came with it was super tasty and spicy so dipping it into the sauce helped a lot. The Maduros were...not great. They had a bit of an oily taste to them that I've never tasted in Maduros before. It wasn't very pleasant. Based on other reviews here this place seems to have its fans and that's cool. This is a mom and pop business and I believe in supporting local businesses. I'm glad I tried this place, but I likely won't be gong back.

Decided to try it and when we arrived it was empty with street parking. It was a Tuesday night and pretty cold which is why I'm guessing no one was there. Lots of seating options, bathrooms were clean and they had a big screen of music playing. The waitress was very friendly and took our drink orders and food orders right away. We got the chicken and anticuchos along with chicha morada. Food came out fast and the plates were huge. Waitress was very attentive and brought out all the sauces, extra napkins and was on sight in case we needed anything. Food was great, cooked how we asked for it and potatoes were not burnt. I was happy with my order and experience and recommend this place.

You'll feel like a true painter armed with the plate as your palette. When I received my meal, the waitress even double-checked to make sure all the sauces were all full. Their chicken comes with 3 sauces (also called cremas or aji): - the yellow sauce - huancaina - the green sauce - aji verde - the brown/reddish - olive sauce, salsa de aceituna

Food was delicious. Being Peruvian born and raised, I know what Peruvian food is supposed to taste like and this is one of the few restaurants I've tried in a while that hit the mark. The anticuchos were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Although the rachi was a bit too smoked for my taste, it reminded me a lot of the rachi I used to have in Lima! Ceviche was also flavorful, but a bit too acidic. The cod, tasted very fresh, like the fish my mom uses for ceviche from a fish farm. The chicha was my favorite part! All in all a pleasant experience and I would definitely come back.
