Oooooh baby! This is your spot for all-things sweet. Most recently, I purchased a white-chocolate-dipped Oreo truffle and milk-chocolate-dipped Oreo. They also have chocolate-covered pretzels, truffles, caramel apples, Rice Krispies, and more. They even have boxes of cheesecake slices and fruit that look incredible. Depending on when you're there, you'll find different treats to enjoy. I was especially thankful for their team too because they weren't open yet when I was there, but they saw me peeking in the glass case and sold a few treats to me anyway. Thank you, Punkin's!

The first thing I noticed was the beautiful showcase of dessert bites.  There were cheesecake truffles, cake pops, strawberries dipped in milk chocolate, white chocolate, and also some called "bling" strawberries because they were dipped and then rolled in gold and pink sand sugar.   I got the Oreo cheesecake truffle and it really hit the spot after lunch. My granddaughter got the confetti cake pop and gobbled it right down. We both had to try the gold sparkly strawberry. It came in its own little plastic container. It was delicious! Their gold sparkly strawberry gave me an idea that you could dip strawberries in purple, gold, and green and create a centerpiece for Mardi Gras. How cool would that be? There were plenty more bites to try so we will be back for more!

What a cute little spot in the amp, it's honestly fun just to look at all of the beautiful treats. I decided to pick up some chocolate covered strawberries, and a glam berry. I'll have to report back on the chocolate covered strawBerries, but I have no doubt they are delicious! I got into my glam berry as soon as I got home and it was tasty! I'll be back to check out some more awesome treats! The staff here is great as well! Glad they have a space to sell such pretty and delicious treats!

So far, I've been fairly underwhelmed by The Amp. There are some exceptions to this general feeling of underwhelm and Punkin's Pies is one of those exceptions. The "Punkin" in this case is Joanna Wilson, the delightfully friendly owner of Punkin's Pies and a lifelong baker who has gradually turned it into her own woman-owned, Black-owned business. Punkin's Pies is easy to find in the fairly new The Amp complex and is definitely worth going out of your way to find it. Punkin's Pies offers a variety of sweet treats including pies, cheesecakes, milk and white chocolate covered items (strawberries, Oreos, etc.), and assorted other items. Having missed the Indiana State Fair this year, I'd been craving a chocolate dipped Oreo. Punkin's made it happen and it was delightful. Punkin's has a beautiful display case that leaves you mouth-watering and wanting to crawl inside the display case. Prices are reasonable and customer service is top-notch. I've been to The Amp a couple times and just haven't felt like the place has found its rhythm yet, but it has certain indie gems worth revisiting and Punkin's Pies is definitely one of those gems. Here's hoping they keep growing because they are an absolute delight.

If you're visiting The Amp, you can't leave without a stop at Punkin's Pies! This sweet shop has it all! Coated oreos, strawberries, rice krispies, fruit bowls, cakes, pies and more! I stopped in with my daughter and she was immediately mesmerized by the blinged out strawberries. She had to get one. I opted for the crunch cheesecake filled strawberry. The selections are huge! You definitely get your money's worth and leave with your sweet tooth satisfied!

I learned about this place from a recent Yelp event where we got to explore The AMP. I got a free chocolate covered strawberry and was hooked! I decided to order a cheesecake bowl and a milk chocolate turtle. The cheesecake bowl contains fresh green grapes, green apples, strawberries, and cheesecake chunks drizzled in white chocolate. There were also two strawberries, one dipped in white chocolate, one in strawberry crunch. Amazing! The turtle was a classic delight. I came back a couple days later and got a couple more strawberries, chocolate dipped pineapple, and Oreo truffles. Everything here is very reasonably priced and the staff is so kind. It's my new favorite dessert place - check them out!

We went back to AMP for dinner. Dessert was from Punkin's Pies. OMG the Cheese Cake Fruit Plate is AMAZING!!! Apple, strawberry, grapes with cheese cake all topped with white chocolate and carmel sauce. It's cheese cake but it's also fruit so it's healthy right?

Inside the AMP, the newest foodhall retail/space, this place is perfect for a sweet treat after you fill up. There is an assortment of dipped fruit, cheesecake, rice crispies, and truffles. I got the strawberry crunch dipped strawberry. This is very messy to eat, so make sure you have something to catch the crumble. The inside is like a sweetened sugary strawberry. The rice crispy had thick chocolate around it. We both would get something different next time - but it really does hit any sweet tooth!

Beautiful dessert options in AMP. I ordered the turtle apple. I cut it myself at home. The Apple was fresh and the toppings were delicious. They dressed up the box so nicely as well as but it in a nice bag to go. The service was friendly. The prices are a little higher than I'm use to but I'm happy to support a local business.

A "Bling Berry"!

Beautiful treats perfect for Valentine's Day gifting. I bought chocolate-dipped strawberries, but the truly special purchase for a gal pal was a Bling Berry: a glittery glowing dipped strawberry for $4 that comes in its own little snow globe. Many other yummy looking treats. Definitely a place to go if you want something out of the ordinary to gift and then you can buy something for yourself, too!

Carmel Apple with peanut is really good, the apple is Granny green I think. Well it's a green apple inside.

South Bend Chocolate was honestly a great surprise. From the second you walk in, it smells amazing,…read morechocolate everywhere. They've got a ton of stuff from bars, sweets, pastries, and even popcorn. Easy to get distracted. Staff was really nice and helped me find what I was looking for. I ordered the hot chocolate... just one sip and wow, I already knew. This jumped straight to the number one spot for me. Best hot chocolate I've had in the States, no question. The flavor was deep and full. You get those darker, slightly nutty notes right away, then it settles into this smooth, creamy finish that just stays with you. Every sip hits the same, and it just keeps pulling you back in. The whipped cream on top melts right into it and adds a little extra sweetness without taking away from the chocolate. The whole drink felt like an experience. I even asked how they make it and found out they use actual chocolate bars... makes sense. 100% worth it. And definitely be coming back for more.

There are so many different types of chocolates, candies, desserts, coffees, hot chocolate, ice cream and little fancies for any kind of sweet tooth. I got the Cherry Jubilee Hot Chocolate which literally tasted like a warm chocolate covered cherry. It was so divine. Perfect for the cold weather. We got a little assortment of goodies which included candied blueberries, candied cherries, old fashioned toffee bars and dark chocolate covered citrus peels. The blueberries were the perfect pop of fruitiness. Who knew such a little thing could have so much flavor and put a huge smile on your face. The cherries were tart and sweet and so delectable. The chocolate covered citrus pill was the perfect flavor combination. I love orange and chocolate. It was such a treat to go there. The service was great. She was so patient with me because I could not make up my mind. There were so many wonderful things there. I saved every little morsel. Can't wait to go back.

I thought prices were reasonable. The dining area has a modern industrial vibe. There are tables or comfy seating if you want to kick back. There were several people sipping coffee and working in the small work space. Free WiFi is available. The outdoor patio looks inviting during warmer weather. We were able to find free street parking directly in front of the building. I highly recommend!!!! Easy 5 stars.

Rocket fizz has 2 locations that I am familiar with. One in Plainfiekd and one in Downtown Indy. I love both locations but downtown on the circle was our choice. When the monument isn't under construction I love walking the steps. We parked a block away and walked back. And once inside we were in candy heaven. We spent alot of time perusing. Because their were so many choices it was hard for my grandson to decide until the store clerk mentioned she just made some grab bags. Excited he was. They were pricey but it was for the fun of it all for him. It has been a while since we've gone but he still talks about our visit. And for me, the memories are worth every dollar spent.

From chamoy pineapple to Dr. Pepper (I do not recommend) -- there were so many options!! Out of everything I tried, the gummy sushi platters were my all-time favorite! But I highly recommend picking up something new to go along with it... just make sure it isn't the Chocolate Bacon soda or Salted Black Licorice. I'd only wish those on my enemy :)
