I wish I had read the other reviews before coming here because they're right... the service is awful. The lady has a bad attitude, talks disrespectfully, and just does not care at all. The only and I mean ONLY saving grace is the flavor of everything. It just tastes so good! So that's what would bring me back because of the use of real chocolate and the rich flavors. On the other hand, it's a pretty Penny to come here too. So this is really hard to balance out between a rating and recommendation. Luckily I was just touring the city one last time and decided to stop so I spent the money and it was worth it but I couldn't come time and time again like I would want to... it'd be so much fun to bring the kids here frequently to get a piece of candy or something but I couldn't do it. And the way the customer service is... yeah no. I say come at your own risk. Just be prepared. Get the hot chocolate cause that was 10/10 and I cry every day that passes that I can't have it. I'll give it a four so this gets more attention but I agree with the three stars. I really wanted to leave a good review too which also makes me sad.

Great Chocolate! Pretty expensive though but we were in town so it was a special treat. The place looks like a great little candy shop and it did not look ran down to me at all, and I'm pretty picky about that kind of thing. My service was great the girl at the counter was nice. We got some chocolate bars, large pecan patties and coffee the chocolate was actually really good and so was the coffee. It was a good experience for sure. We will definitely be back when we are in town.

A Chocolate Shop? That should be an automatic 4 YELP STARS because of what they're selling! But Chocolate Cafe bumps it up to 5 because it is a wonderful, magical place. And I say that as a tourist who was on the Circle City Tour. We had just visited the Soldiers and Sailors Museum and it was a chilly day. Tour Guide Carrie suggested we go enjoy a hot chocolate here to warm up. As the Cafe is located along popular Monument Circle, it has a great spot to entice Choca-philes such as myself. Once inside, Chocolate Cafe is chock full of all things chocolate, as you can imagine. Great gift ideas here too. Nice selection of yummy ice cream, chocolate candy and popcorn plus fudge!! The coffee smelled fresh and strong and the hot chocolate hit the spot. The outdoor cafe with al fresco seating did not beckon me as it was icy outside but I bet during the hot summer, it would be the best place to hang out. Loved the Chocolate Cafe in beautiful Indianapolis. 5 YELP STARS.

I ended up ordering a cappuccino and a slice of their white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and both were perfect.

Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. I will try other items whenever I can get to one of the pop ups.

What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

This one is good for grab and go, unless it's nice out and then you can enjoy seating located out front. Service is friendly here. The workers are always up to answering any of my questions. They told me the olive bread is only sold on Wednesdays. I've never had it, but it sounds good. The bread I love is the focaccia. They sell it in a square loaf for $5. I like to eat this bread plain, with cheese, or make a sandwich with it. I also purchased a chocolate croissant (I love me a good chocolate croissant) and it was so flaky, buttery, and filling, very delicious. I warmed it up a bit at home and enjoyed every bite of it. Ive had a coffee from here and it was good, coffee and bread is a great combination. To get here, you have to find street parking as they don't have a parking lot. I usually find a side street to park at that doesn't charge.

Overall, it's a cute and cozy place to sit, enjoy fresh pastries, and have a good drink.

I ordered the hot chocolate... just one sip and wow, I already knew. This jumped straight to the number one spot for me. Best hot chocolate I've had in the States, no question. The flavor was deep and full. You get those darker, slightly nutty notes right away, then it settles into this smooth, creamy finish that just stays with you. Every sip hits the same, and it just keeps pulling you back in. The whipped cream on top melts right into it and adds a little extra sweetness without taking away from the chocolate. The whole drink felt like an experience. I even asked how they make it and found out they use actual chocolate bars... makes sense. 100% worth it. And definitely be coming back for more.
