It is the sort of place that feels special the moment you walk in. A lot of people rave about the beautiful space, and quite right too. The shop has a gorgeous, old-world feel in a historic Fountain Square building, plenty of seating, and a lovely outdoor area that is very dog friendly. The staff always boast a delightful disposition that makes you want to smile and enjoy the rest of your day as well. As for the coffee, I love the iced Mayan Mocha. It is like a mocha with a kick and extra flavour depth, and it is absolutely delicious. The dark chocolate, honey, cinnamon, and cayenne give it a little warmth and complexity without losing the joy of a proper iced coffee treat. They also have some really high-end pastries to choose from. I love the lemon loaf, and some of the more complex, unique pastries make it feel a bit more elevated than the average coffee stop. Overall, it is clean, beautiful, welcoming, and always worth the return visit.

Today, I got the chance to stop by, and it was absolutely amazing. My order today, was the house made cold brew with peppermint (iced of course), it was very smooth and had a great flavor. This isn't something I usually get, but still very enthused with it. Unfortunately, parking is a little struggle. There is paid for street parking, or you can walk down from a nearby lot if you can find one. Walking in, you see an office building with other businesses, then you turn the corner into a lovely coffee shop ambiance. I love the fact, that it's almost like a coffee nook. Sometimes, there's a line that makes it hard to stand in there, but the staff is great and work at a good pace. Overall, I would totally recommend and look forward to coming back! :)

They usually have two sets (with the second starting around 9pm), and sometimes people who came for the first set will clear out around then, so you might find seats opening up if you arrive later. During the day, you order at the counter up front, but on jazz nights they have servers assigned to each table, which is a nice touch! These Jazz nights make for a great date night or a fun evening out with friends.
