Pretzel bites

Let's start off by saying how amazing the lady behind the counter was. She was so nice and patient with us. It took me a while to figure out which one I wanted because they all sounded so good. Well, I decided on the campfire s'mores you can't go wrong with that one. It had a chocolate and marshmallow ring around the glass. It was full of graham crackers, chocolate and little bitty marshmallows, and it was topped off with a chocolate covered marshmallow dipped in graham crackers. Yum Yum. For my bark samples I chose toasted coconut and the s'mores. Thank you Milkshake Factory for making this possible and Yelp.

Solid milkshake. A little more liquid than thick but it worked for the one I got because it reminded me of like a frappe of sorts. The service was quick and friendly and the space was clean and welcoming. Would definitely grab one again if I'm in the area.

Inside was very clean and organized! The menu was full of interesting milkshake options as well as build-your-own selections. Service was fast despite a sudden boost of customers all at once. There are chocolates and other desserts available for purchase besides milkshakes, but they are pretty pricey for their sizes. My s'mores milkshake was very good with a lot of different textures from the additional toppings that came with it, but I wish I had gotten a smaller size as it was definitely a rich drink (which is not a bad thing at all!)

Now Ill be honest, my children ate all my items before i coukd try anything but the milkshake. However the experience of being there with my daughter was everything. They have a photobooth that we had so much fun with. The shop is so cute and so many plaves where u can take photos. Just had a great time whike waiting. But from what i dod get to try would definitely go again especially bc I want to get the chocolate covered strawberries.

The milkshakes were very tasty! I was impressed by the selection they had. They also had other desserts to choose from too. We will be back to try more!

I first spotted the pending arrival of MilkShake Factory at its Avon location while on the way out to my parents' home. When I noticed that Nora, much closer to my house, was getting one I knew that a stop was to be near in the future. Okay, so the basics. Yes, this is a chain. It started in Pittsburgh in 1914, or at least what would become this chain started then. If you think about it, that was a time when even the idea of refrigeration was fairly new and definitely considered a luxury. So, getting a milkshake was a definite treat. Multiple generations of a family moved from soda fountains to chocolatiers to milkshakes. It was in the mid-90s that MilkShake Factory was actually born - the fourth generation of the family to actually have this tradition. These days, milkshakes are front-and-center while chocolates are definitely still a strong presence. The product is still premium. MilkShake Factory carries classic shakes (the usual flavors), signature shakes, gourmet shakes, limited time shakes, dairy-free shakes, chocolates, a handful of non-shake items, and a decor that brings to mind those old days of soda fountains. Shake prices start around $7 or so and go higher. Again, I'd consider this a more premium but not outrageous experience. This location is ideally located right along the Monon Trail at 82nd Street. It's a great spot with a handful of indoor tables, a row of lawn-type chairs (nicer, wood) along the backside, and easy carry-out. Accessible parking is located almost directly in front of it. The glass door is pretty easy to open. The floor plan is pretty open, though I did have to move one item to gain true wheelchair access. There were a handful of employees working - I'll admit I find this refreshing. I know that money can be tight, but I always like seeing more than 1-2 employees in a shop. I ordered a fairly basic chocolate shake. It's one of the "classic" shakes and one of the least expensive. It came with whipped cream in a modestly sized plastic classic (nicely done, attractive but definitely different than the glasses shown in photos). Employees were friendly. My impression? I think this is likely going to be a bigger deal for those who embrace the gourmet and specialty shakes. The chocolate shake wasn't quite as thick as I'd expected, however, the gourmet and specialty shakes seem to be truly a lot more special. When I return (and I will), I'll likely move out of the classic shakes and into something a bit more extravagant. At this point, I'm feeling more of a 4-star than a 5-star. However, I don't consider it out of the question that I'll fork over that 5th star upon my return and once I start trying other flavors. I may have gone too basic this time around. I'm also wanting to try their chocolates. I look forward to returning and to also trying out the Avon location the next time I'm out that way.

I really loved this place. The store is so sleek and clean, and it smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. We tried the gluten-free yogurt milkshake. I honestly didn't expect it to taste that good, but it surprised me! It was really enjoyable, just a little sweeter than I prefer. We also got the Cookies & Cream bark and the Toasted Coconut bark. The Cookies & Cream was my favorite, so good. What really stood out was the service. I didn't catch her name, but she was so kind and patient, took her time explaining everything, and made us feel comfortable. That kind of service makes all the difference. Definitely coming back.

Uh, ohhhhh...this place will make your taste buds tingle. So many options and so many flavors waiting on you to choose. Friendly atmosphere on top like a cherry . Yummy

We went and got 3 shakes and this is more of a TOGO place in plastic cups....or that is the way we were served ours. In plastic to go cups. Cookies n Cream was delicious and I got the Strawberry dipped in chocolate! The team was very nice and work pretty quickly for all the shakes they are making. The 3 shakes were not thick and more milky like but very delicious

The shakes are delicious. I just got Vanilla. My son got Chocolate Cake Shake any daughter went with the Mint Cookies and Cream. I tried them all. They were all very fun, but I still like the plain ol' Vanilla best :). Maybe next time I will get the coffee flavored one It did take quite a while to get them, but they were super busy too. There is nice outside Adirondack chairs outside. The inside seats are crowded with people waiting for their drinks. Once we got outside, it was great to sit and enjoy. I signed up for rewards and am looking forward to that free birthday present!

Brand new spot! They seem to have plenty of workers since they were able to clear the line efficiently. Everyone very friendly! I had a peanut butter milk shake and hubby had vanilla. Both delicious and the right level of drinkable-ness! The ourdoor seating has plenty of plastic Adirondack chairs / inside has tables but no one was using these with the weather so nice.

Decent tasting milkshake. A bit on the small size for the price. I did not like the chocolate chips mixed in. I'm not a fan of chewing a drink. Service was good and the shop was clean.

Finally a good milkshake place in Indy! The prices were on the higher side ($9 for the shake in the pictures), but the milkshake itself was quite good! A good consistency to be able to drink out of a straw, a nice blend of flavors (really captured both the chocolate & the raspberry), and appropriate size. Despite a line, service was quick! A few tables if you wanted to sit. Will certainly be back when the milkshake cravings hit!

We definitely felt like an "inconvenience" rather than valued customers. Not rude just not appreciative for $45 spent on what could have been $20. Regarding the treats, here is the breakdown: Caramel Shortbread with Chocolate: This was easily the highlight of the night. Absolutely delicious and the best thing we bought. S'more (Chocolate Covered): This was our second favorite. It had a nice white chocolate drizzle, though I personally found the white chocolate a bit distracting. A standard chocolate-on-chocolate drizzle would have let the s'more flavors shine better. Pecan Delights: Disappointing. The balance was off--the pecans completely overpowered the caramel. I wouldn't purchase these again. Chocolate Covered Raisins: Just okay. I usually expect larger, premium raisins from a specialty shop, but these were fairly standard. We spent $45 on these four items, and honestly, the value wasn't there for the price point and the rushed atmosphere. While I wouldn't return for a full shopping trip, I might pop in specifically for that shortbread cookie and nothing else.

They were also much bigger than I was anticipating but no one is going to be sad about MORE chocolate. My only feedback is that I didn't ask each truffle flavor to be placed in the same placement of each box. This was for a chocolate and wine pairing so that made it a bit trickier because they were mixed throughout. Thankfully, we decided to plate the truffles so it all worked out.
