A table in a candy store is covered with a cloth and holds an assortment of wrapped chocolates, candies, and treats. Items are organized in baskets, containers, and bags, with some labeled for flavors such as caramel, marshmallow, and chocolate. The background shows additional shelves and displays of confections, indicating a retail environment specializing in gourmet chocolates and sweets.

If you're looking for treats for a Holiday, this place is a great option. We were having coffee at Lulu's next door and decided to stop in. The counter staff were friendly and content to let us browse. We were told everything is made in-house and fresh, and that seems true. There's a wide assortment of chocolates and cookies and other confectionary treats and the prices were very reasonable. If you're looking for some good, sweet treats in the area, Sweet Things is a solid choice.

Cute merchandise - The image shows a variety of Christmas-themed decorations and gift items arranged on a wooden table. Items include mugs with holiday designs, decorative pillows with Christmas trees, a small gnome figurine, and wrapped presents. The background features shelves with additional holiday merchandise and store displays. The scene is brightly lit, emphasizing the festive decorations.

What a wonderful experience I had today at Sweet Things. I haven't been in the shop for sometime. I was looking for Christmas gifts and I found several plus treats for my family. The shop has a large display case filled with all types of chocolates, truffles, covered pretzels and nuts, toffee and more. Everything is made right here at Something Chocolate. They offer custom gift baskets, offer pre-made collections of chocolates and I found fun Hot Chocolate Bombs. Just add water or milk and place bomb in cup where chocolate melts and mini marshmallows float to the top. Their great Christmas gifts for the kids. There is a large jelly bean wall with so many flavors if you have a piñata or gift bags/jars to fill with candy. Intermixed throughout the store are adorable cookie jars, coffee cups, dishware, pillows, serving platters, signs, dish towels, greeting cards and a section for a child's birthday. Today I purchased Christmas gifts, greeting cards, Christmas decorations, hot chocolate bombs, candy, toffee and a phenomenal caramel apple dipped in dark chocolate. The owner was extremely helpful, had excellent suggestions and super friendly. If your looking for excellent chocolates or cute gifts pop in and browse.

This combo candy shop and gift shop has some delicious confections to test your will power. Though I noticed the variety of gifts and cards, I had my attention drawn to the chocolates counter. (They have a variety of other types of candies including a jelly bean wall and some other fruity type treats.) After looking over the displays a couple times, I asked and found out that you can buy the chocolates by the piece or by the pound. I thought it best to go with individual pieces and limited my purchase so that my waistline stayed relatively the same size as when I started the day. I decided to get a pecan snapper in milk chocolate (snapper = turtle), a cashew snapper in milk chocolate, and a dark chocolate covered pretzel. Because the pieces are handmade, they are on the pricey side. (After tax, it was nearly $8!) The flavor was really good. The snappers were fairly large compared to the ones you see in those assortment boxes. They were filled with nuts and creamy gooey caramel. The only problem was that since it was a hot day, I had a bit of a mess as the chocolate melted. (Fear not, I am not above licking my fingers to savor the last bit of it!) Overall, I would recommend this place if you have some will power or otherwise, a very deep wallet! Review #1214

Dark chocolate covered almonds and pretzels. Can't you feel my excitement .

This is a cute little candy shop that also houses equally cute decor for sale. Which these two alone in one place is going to be a problem for me. There is so much sweet goodness packed into the space. Also the customer service is wonderful. I was greeted the minute I walked in the door and everyone in the store made sure my questions were answered. I happened to be in there while a couple of regulars were present and it seems like this will be a new place that I need to start frequenting for my sweet tooth needs.

It seems like this place started as a candy shop or chocolatier. Then maybe the owner turned forty or went through a divorce, because half of it is filled with jaded-sloganed mugs ("I gave him the skinnest years of my life!") and gag hormone pills for women. Not that this half of the store's collection doesn't have its good moments. I especially appreciated the bag of martini-shaped tri-color pasta. And for the not-yet-jaded, Sweet Things' owners will personalize pottery, plates or other adornables with customers' sorority names, wedding dates, etc. Oh yes, the chocolates ... look fine. Lemon bark and small chocolate cups topped with delicate flowers are some of the more novel offerings. Also, single-serving, wrapped fudge. So I can eat it while driving with less hassle. Hallelujah.

As soon as you walk into this place the smell of chocolate will hit you. It smells so good! If you like fresh chocolate, this is your place! They also have a nice selection of other candy. The jelly bean wall caught my mom's attention right away. She got a huge bag of it with different flavors. I got a piece of m&m bark. My sister got a piece of the Oreo bark. We also got 12 pieces of chocolate. I can't remember the name of them but some had carmel inside and some had milk chocolate. The next time I come here I will definitely get a chocolate covered pretzel.

I'm with the other reviewer about this place. I was thrilled to hear Indy had its very own "chocolatier," but when I happened in the shop on 86th, I was a bit taken aback. It doesn't look like a chocolate shop at first. Maybe they do more business in novelty items, but they should stick to what they do best: chocolate. I've tried several items on the "menu" ... including caramels (my fave) and chocolate pretzels. My husband likes the snappers, even though the name is a bit, um, strange. Do stop by the next time you're near one of the locations (there's one near the Fashion Mall as well). You'll be glad you did.

Candy Buffet by Sweet Things. Great Shop. I highly recommend them!

What a great shop. Ashley helped me pick out different candies for a candy buffet for a surprise birthday dinner I was throwing. She was a pleasure to work with. The candy was a big hit at the dinner. Thank you again for everything! - RJR

I highly recommend Sweet Things for any gift giving, chocolate craving, and sweet treat needs! They have a perfect variety of chocolate, candy, sugar free options, and even other gifts such as candles, socks, cards, and more! The staff is just as sweet as the candy and will let you have a free samples of some of the chocolate. Everything looks so amazing and tastes just as good. The pricing is great, too, and they even have loyalty rewards cards. Sweet Things is the cutest chocolate shop, trendy, and always improving! They have many customization options for your gifts from chocolate molds, colorful gift wrapping, and plates full of different options for sharing! We tried their Dark Chocolate Turtles that were perfection and their chocolate covered gram crackers are so yummy! Wendy is a wonderful business woman and the genius owner of this establishment who is caring about her customers and her candy shop!

I ordered the hot chocolate... just one sip and wow, I already knew. This jumped straight to the number one spot for me. Best hot chocolate I've had in the States, no question. The flavor was deep and full. You get those darker, slightly nutty notes right away, then it settles into this smooth, creamy finish that just stays with you. Every sip hits the same, and it just keeps pulling you back in. The whipped cream on top melts right into it and adds a little extra sweetness without taking away from the chocolate. The whole drink felt like an experience. I even asked how they make it and found out they use actual chocolate bars... makes sense. 100% worth it. And definitely be coming back for more.

I got the Cherry Jubilee Hot Chocolate which literally tasted like a warm chocolate covered cherry. It was so divine. Perfect for the cold weather. We got a little assortment of goodies which included candied blueberries, candied cherries, old fashioned toffee bars and dark chocolate covered citrus peels. The blueberries were the perfect pop of fruitiness. Who knew such a little thing could have so much flavor and put a huge smile on your face. The cherries were tart and sweet and so delectable. The chocolate covered citrus pill was the perfect flavor combination. I love orange and chocolate. It was such a treat to go there. The service was great. She was so patient with me because I could not make up my mind. There were so many wonderful things there. I saved every little morsel. Can't wait to go back.

They told me the olive bread is only sold on Wednesdays. I've never had it, but it sounds good. The bread I love is the focaccia. They sell it in a square loaf for $5. I like to eat this bread plain, with cheese, or make a sandwich with it. I also purchased a chocolate croissant (I love me a good chocolate croissant) and it was so flaky, buttery, and filling, very delicious. I warmed it up a bit at home and enjoyed every bite of it. Ive had a coffee from here and it was good, coffee and bread is a great combination. To get here, you have to find street parking as they don't have a parking lot. The staff was super friendly and patient as I worked my way through all the pasties in the pastry case to make my selection. Another perk was how late this bakery stays open, which I believe is 8pm. I got the sweet potato hand pie, cinnamon roll croissant, potato au gratin, apple danish, shortbread and focaccia, and I believe they all had appropriate filling to bread ratio. The pastries were shareable size and my only regret is I didn't purchase more.
