I had such an odd first experience here. I came in, the door chimed, I looked around, made eye contact with a tech, signed in, then waited a few seconds longer before finally sitting down. I ended up sitting for about 10 minutes before someone finally noticed and asked if I'd been helped. I said no and she explained that the door chime is weird and they're never sure if it's an actual customer. Sooooo, you assume it's not? That's a weird way to do business, I think. Then she acted like I was being uppity for being annoyed when she told me it would be a 15-20-minute wait. I was in that beautiful window of work ending and picking up kids and thought I'd treat myself, but I lost my window sitting there waiting. I would've gone somewhere else. I drive 45 mins to get my nails done here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The nail techs take their time and are extremely patient. With all the crazy designs I find on Pinterest there isn't one that they weren't able to accomplish. If you're in the area or not this place is definitely worth the visit. read more

Let me start with that the nail technicians are great. But customer service is horrible. They treat you like you owe them something. You can't just walk in and even when you make a appointment there's a problem. I've made appointments for acrylic and when I get there they will tell me they have no one that can do acrylic only sns. I'm fairly picky about the quality of service and the way they take care of my nails. I will DEFINITELY become a regular here after my first experience. They made booking over the phone very easy and I asked to be paired with someone who would be very good with pedicures because I've had bad experiences at other places in the past. They paired me with Charlie and he was excellent! David did my SNS nails and was overly welcoming and made my nails look great! Writing this as I'm still here! First, the salon itself is gorgeous! I did some research and found Pulse. I wasn't sure if they were still taking walk-ins but figured I'd give it a shot - it's a Monday, worse case I'd make an appointment. They have the sweetest girl working reception! They already has appointments seated but I only waited 5 minutes before being seen. I was seated with Bella who was very kind. Her attention to detail on my nails was unmatched. I mean there was not any residual acrylic left under my nail and the shape of my nails were perfect - this is major. I also got a pedicure which was perfect. I arrived a little before 1030 and I'm still here at almost 1230 and this speaks volumes for me. I've walked into nail salons before and I've been rushed through all of my services but I felt like a regular and I really appreciate that the proper time and care was taken. I will always stop here when visiting family ! They get pretty busy so I would suggest making an appointment. They also do great designs so visit their social media pages! read more

Amy did such an amazing job on my nails and she is such a friendly and engaging person. I'm usually the kind of person who just likes to sit quietly while getting my nails done, but Amy was so friendly that I actually didn't mind talking. I wish I could come here all the time. I'm from New York and called the day before to make an appointment for 10 am. As soon as we arrived we were greeted. Before we could even sit they took our temperatures and had us wash our hands (Co vid precautions) before we chose our nails colors which I loved. They even wiped and cleaned all the instruments and chairs before we sat down for our pedicures. The women that did our pedicures Julia and Jennifer were so nice and kept us entertained. We were even offered something to drink during our service. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. They're amazing and very welcoming. read more

For my Birthday I decided to treat myself and my 2 teen granddaughters to pedicures. Where to go was the question as I'd been to half a dozen nail salons and experienced varying degrees of disappointment in the service and attitudes of personnel. By luck, I remembered that the Pulse Nail Bar is next to Brown Bag Deli in Suwanee Town Center. We often went to Brown Bag. What a wonderful experience we had at our newly discovered nail salon. Everyone is so friendly, courteous, and concerned with doing a fine job. We'll be returning to Pulse Nail Bar and only Pulse Nail Bar from now on. read more

I hate giving this review because so many of the nail techs are nice and good however I've now had two bad experiences so I will be looking for new salon. I don't know his name, but he was a young Asian man who did my nails he was rude, aggressive and didn't remove my old sns manicure but instead piled a new one on top with new color! I usually drive 45 minutes to come here and I will not be back! I made an appointment for 12pm with a friend for sns and pedicure and it took 3.5 hrs to get SNS (with no design) and a basic pedicure. I saw people come in and get both in an hour. My friend waited an hour to even have someone get started on her sns, and it should not have taken that long. The lady that did my nails was great (the only reason I'm giving 1 star)!!!! They forgot about our pedicures! The pedicure was extremely rushed and was a very bad pedicure (almost no massage)! When we were checking out the guy at the counter asked how it was and we were honest! I said that we waited for long and we're not satisfied for the service. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, management got defensive and provided excuses! I love this place, but because of how it was handled by management I will not be back. I have been going to another email place for over 10 years. This past year they have made appts for me and when I arrive the person my appt is with isn't even there or they are over booked. Today was it I left and called Pulse and got in with Dustin. I needed a sns refill. My nails look great! Honestly the best they have ever looked. Even at the other place, C.N., my nails always looked like they were down last week when I left. If I complained I was told that is how they should be. NO it's not. My mom & I were looking for a new nail place and we heard so many good things from friends about this place. I tried it out first and liked it a lot but even from my first visit there were some things kind of off about the service I was being given. Every single time I have made an appointment, I have had to wait at least 20-30 minutes just to be seated. I have only been 4 times and today was the the first time that I did not have to wait as long. Some of the techs are nice and some aren't. They do a great job but charge a lot. Sometimes I feel like they add extra charges without telling you and that's even with a student discount I receive and it still turns out very expensive. The service is starting to get a bit wonky and I feel like my mom and I keep sing charged more than we really should be. I hope our next visit is better if there is one. read more

This nail salon is very clean but they do not know how to run a salon. I made an appointment and I still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. Once I was seated I still had to wait about 15 minutes and my nail tech kept getting up once she came to turn on the water. This salon does not have anything organized. Great place for a pedicure! Nice people and reasonably priced. Even though they were busy, they were staffed enough that they were still able to take their time on the massage and all of the details. Only living in the Atlanta area for short time I was doing some research on where to take my 6 year old and myself to get our nails and toes done. I stumbled on pulse. I called to make a reservation for an appointment so we wouldnt have to wait too long. After entering the building their was an older lady behind the counter who was very rude and took her time to greet me! She asked how may I help you... of course I responded with hello and that I made a call ahead appointment for a fill in and my daughter to get her nails and toes done. I asked of she wanted me to go ahead and sign in?! She responded with a yes and walked away from the counter! Never saw her again. Eventually my daughter and myself got taken back. I had four different techs work on my nails and toes. My daughter had gel polish put on her nails and toes. Mind this was around 3:30 in the afternoon. By 7:00 all her gel polish came off her nails! During my fill in they hit every cuticle on my finger to the extent of bleeding. After spending $100.00 plus I will never go back! You dont spend that much to have your GEL polish come off in a matter of a few hours. If i could rate this any less I would. read more

This nail salon is nice looking, but every time I go in I'm rushed through my services. They do your brows well which is the only thing I'll be going back for, just not by the gentleman who did them this most recent time. The last time I went was 8/25/18 I got my brows done, a gel manicure, and a pedicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure was great absolutely great; he took his time and gave a great massage and was extremely helpful when my nails ended up getting messed up and seemed genuinely irritated at having me rushed out of his hands as he was trying to apply my topcoat on my toes by the gentleman who was to do my eyebrows. However the woman who did my manicure seemed rushed and like she'd rather be somewhere else which makes sense when the whole staff closed the place down early for drinks. While I was still in there. Then once my pedicure was done another gentleman rushed me to get my brows done. While he was doing them he kept making phone calls and checking his phone. While I would've loved to let my polish on my toes to dry I was rushed out so the rest of the employees could continue to drink and hang out. I attempted to leave and messed up the toe nail polish on my toes because I was in the temporary sandals and no one had helped me remove my toes separators. I went back in and the gentleman who did my toes touched them up and sprayed them with nail hardener and told me to wait a minute or two. After two minutes I got the vibe from the employees that they no longer wanted me to be there so I attempted to leave again messing up the polish on my toes. At this point I had given up. For the $95 dollars I spent including a very tip I feel like time and patience could've been had for the price and the fact they bill themselves as a luxury nail bar. I will not be going back except to get my eyebrows done by my normal lady. A word for the owners would be to make sure to not close early to drink if you've got customers it's highly unprofessional. read more

The only good thing about this was that I like my nails and Nia did BOMB on my brows. I've been twice and their customer service is a shitshow. On the phone my service was $35, they try to ring me up at $45 telling me "I chose long nails and multiple colors and SNS starts at $35 but price can be increased." I called bullshit because 1) I showed the tech the photo BEFORE HE EVEN STARTED and there was NO mention of a price increase due to multiple colors. ALSO, I have very long natural nails that I have worked very hard to grow out through SNS. They never cut nor extended my nails...the long length had no affect on my service because they simply applied the SNS to the natural nails I came with that were already long. The staff here is always flustered and preoccupied w 3 other people and they have a bad attitude if you ask them to fix something. Also, I showed the receptionist my college ID for the 10% discount and not ten seconds later she didn't apply it. read more

Beautiful and spacious establishment! The staff is extremely friendly! I stopped into Pulse because I was happy to find a nail shop that was closer to where I lived and was hoping for a different kind of experience. I find that typical places are so cramped and the staff is so concerned about turning their chairs as quickly as possible, that customer service is lost in the process. Pulse does not disappoint. Staff was courteous and patient. The interior has a modern feel and a large and stylish waiting area. The day I visited, I had a mani and pedi. Both were done well....nice hot towel and lotion massage on both hands and feet (and that was for the basic service). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my gel nails started to peel right at 2 weeks. But....I have also has this issue with other nail places. So, given all of pros, I will definitely be a regular customer at Pulse. read more
