First time going to Nail Studio and I can say I had a great experience! I got a gel manicure ($30) with simple Christmas designs on my ring fingers (a little extra charge). I did not catch the name of the nice lady who did my nails, but she did a wonderful job being very thorough and professional. My nails were too short for one of the designs I wanted so she came up with a design that would fit my nail length. I received a short back massage at the end (with a hot stone!). Def coming back for my next gel manicure. Thank you, Nail Studio!

I am transitioning from NJ the past few months. My cousin recommended awhile back. But today was the first day. It's super clean. The technicians were very friendly smiling clean. They wanted to get to know their customers name, what they like, speak very well I don't think it's expensive they do a very great job I just loved it I enjoyed myself. My mom and myself have been coming here for a few months now and love it. Jack always does an amazing job as does everyone else who's worked on us. I love that pedicures come with a paraffin dip and manicure come with a hot stone massage. The selection of colors in all different polish types are abundant and they always have the newest seasons colors. If you're looking for good consistent work and a little pampering I would highly recommend this place!

I had scheduled a pedicure for 4 people, and once I arrived they were able to sit us down for it right away. Although there weren't a lot of people to give us pedicures at the same time, they made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. As a plus, they give complementary hot stone massages (a short one) but nonetheless still amazing. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Nail techs catch attitude with customers and yell (yes I said yell) at customers if they come back in to fix a nail. Nail techs do not focus on only you, they get up and work on other customers. They use old gel nail polish that does not set well in the UV light and try to cover it up while smiling in your face. Then when I tried to come back 2 days later to get a polish change I was told that the black smudges that occurred on my nails were not nail tech defect so I would have to pay $20. I only paid $15 for the gel polish in the first place, why would pay $20 now? And it's a polish change! I brought friends with me and we all have experienced some type of poor customer service - from rude nail techs to poor quality services. We will NOT be back. UPDATE: 7/9/2016 Your nail technicians did NOT stand by you "3 day guarantee" as we were not even offered to change the same color polish for free. If there are certain things that will affect the polish customers should be notified. I have never been to a nail salon that criticized it's customers and did not offer a solution. UPDATE: 7/18/2016 This is not a duplicate profile. I did not return. read more

I used to love this place. I'm not sure what happened. The ownership hasn't changed but the quality has gone way down. This is the 2nd time I've gotten poor results and I don't require anything special. No fancy acrylics or s&s. Just a basic pedicure. This time I opted for a mani-pedi. Cuticles we're barely touched and it's been three to four months since my last visit. I never get my hands done but this time I thought I'd treat myself. I sat for at least 30 minutes waiting for them to dry. Two hours later, they're still not dry and the job looks sloppy. I'm very sad I have to find a new salon. read more

Reviewed: 10/14/2016 I came here because a friend recommended me this place. I told the lady that this was the first time in 10+ yrs I have gotten my nails done so i was excited. She started giving me her opinions on what looks nice and trendy for acrylic nails on top of what I was already set with. This was really nice and great of her! But the one thing that i did not like was her lying to me. She gave me my total and when I asked her why did my nails come out to be more pricier than expected. She goes off telling me she told me the price(s) and that "I" forgot she said it. I did not forget a pricing that YOU forgot to tell me... and instead just went ahead and added extra stuff to make more for yourself and took advantage of the fact that i am new... She also rushed my nails because she had another person waiting and so my polish came out to be uneven where you can see the multiple layers. She did not want to acknowledge her mistakes. Then towards the end, my friend received extra services that I did not receive until I mentioned it. The guy who ended up doing the extra services did not NEARLY do it well as the lady doing it on my friend.. hrm i wonder why...And yet I paid a lot more....So depending on how behind you are pretty much guarantees you the worse service while paying more money than initially expected.... definitely not a great first time experience and pretty disappointed... read more

The pedicure and manicure services performed by the nail technician, Bee, was excellent. However, the owner not honoring the 10% off discount that is clearly advertised on Yelp is an unexceptable business practice. It's deceptive advertising. I am posting this for potential buyers beware of this company business practices. read more

This location is now under new ownership, and they kept none of the existing staff... AKA everyone that was good & that I trusted is gone. I decided to stick it out for a visit to see how they did. I got an upgraded level of a pedicure. They did not remove my ingrown toe nails, and towards the end of my pedicure they clipped a large portion of my skin. The pedicurist claims that she barely clipped some dry skin and that's why it was bleeding. Upon inspection when I got home, I see that she lied. She had clipped a chunk of skin. I also got a french SNS fill in. They did the SNS very thick, so much so that it looks almost like acrylic nails. Additionally, they didn't do a very good job with the SNS because it began to separate from my natural nails after 2 weeks. I regularly get SNS, and this is typically not a problem. Also, I am not hard on my nails, so it's not as if I am causing extra damage to them. Overall, this salon went from being an exceptional salon with Tiffany, Jenny, Holly, and the girls to being a mediocre salon with new ownership. Also, one of the new male managers or owners is kinda creepy. He is probably the biggest reason that I won't be returning. read more

The service is great from the manager and her daughter. The prices are moderate, not cheap and not expensive. I got a mani pedi and I waited for an hour to get it done! When I sat in the chair it took another two hours! Ridiculous! My french nails look good from a distance but the details are very messy. So sad! The girl who did my pedi cut my skin and it is still recovering. read more

I moved to GA last year. I'm the type that likes to find a technician and stick with them so they get to know me and what I like so there's little explanation needed. Nail Studio is my go to salon and Jackie is my nail tech. My last nail tech and I were 10 years in before I moved away. Everyone in the salon is great but of course I have my favorite ;) (loyal). I almost hate to post this review because they stay busy BUT are really organized and have good time management. I get picture perfect results here so I've become a loyal customer! read more

Nail Studio is a fabulous nail spa. I don't ever remember having such a pleasant experience in my entire life, and I've been getting my nails done for the past 20 years. I get SNS treatment on my nails. Not everyone can do SNS efficiently. I've had some nail techs at top nail salons in Atlanta do a horrible job on my nails while attempting to do SNS. Hollie did my SNS treatment at Nail Studio, and the results were spectacular!!!! The atmosphere of the spa is very relaxing. Staff members are beyond friendly, extremely accommodating, and they show a deep appreciation for their clientele. I have also been to places that specialize in SNS treatment, but their customer service leaves much to be desired, to say the least! Nail Studio is my new nail salon. Nail Studio in Suwanee is the only nail salon you should consider!! Due to some unfortunate changes at Nail Gallery, these brave women all invested and opened up Nail Studio, (Not a revenge move, a business survival move). Everyone is invested so whoever helps you is an owner! The Salon is beautiful and always clean. Tiffany, Amanda and Jenn along with the others are phenomenal technicians!! They always use sterilized tools,they listen and give you individualized care. I have never had a cuticle nicked, or an injury when they dig out my painful ingrown toe nails. I have sever allergic reactions to chemicals, they are the only technicians that use products on me that do not cause me misery with allergic reactions. Just let them know you needs, wants and wishes. They will work it out to your 100% satisfaction. Never Ever will you find a more friendly, professional nail salon!!!! read more

Great atmosphere. Perfect location. Phenomenal real friendly staff. Personable. Holly is great with SNS nails! I love my pink n white French she did. My pedicure looks great - my pedicurist even fixed my nail problem (I'm missing a natural toe nail). It now looks great and I'm not ashamed to show my feet anymore-lol. Finding a great reliable nail salon to call your own has got to be one of the most crucial things in life! Ok maybe not crucial but it sure is up there on the list of must haves of life! With that being said I've found my nail salon that I call home. At Studio Nail Salon they are professionals and very knowledgeable and very skilled in every nail technique. When you enter this bright and clean establishment you will be treated like a queen or king! They take the time to get to know their customers so that when you return they remember what your preferences are. Jackie is phenomenal! Hands down the best pedicure I've had in my life. The whole time I was thinking, wow, I wish I lived in Georgia so I could come here more often. My Texan nails miss the wonderful treatment I received at Nail Studio. Sophia did my pedicure and Bibi did my manicure, and I was so impressed at the level of detail that went into my nails, as well as the great conversations, and finally the incredible hot stone massage on my back. Can't wait to visit Atlanta again so I can get my nails done here!! read more

Offers a variety of services at different levels. I chose #2 basic pedicure and eye brow wax. I met Tina and Ben, both very thorough and nice. I was glad to pay $25 for pedicure for the detail oriented services, I think it's a little pricey but for my first time there I was ok with it. read more

I have had great visits at this salon. They have a lot of colors of gel polish and the service is always really friendly. I go to Anna and I haven't been disappointed. Prices are great for the service and it's very clean. Owners are super friendly. Making a reservation online is easy if you know who you want to go to. Highly recommend making an appointment in the summer for pedicures or on the weekend as this salon gets very busy. read more

I moved to Atlanta a year ago and after searching for a nail salon that compared to the one I had in Macon I finally found the one!! Very clean (important to me).. The ladies there are very welcoming and speak fluent English. I wanted SNS nails, Angela worked on me, I was a bit apprehensive because I had not seen her mentioned in other reviews., WOW!!! She is meticulous!! Very professional.. My nails have never looked better!! Jackie worked on my pedicure and I have to say one of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend this nail salon!! The people aren't friendly and they charged $40 for a basic mani pedi when most other places charge $20 for the same service. I also had SNS taken off. They didn't file the powder down or anything like most salons do and instead soaked my nails and fingers in a bag full of acetone for over half an hour while they completed my pedicure. The owner or manager (I think) did my nails and toes and the paint was ok but not great. While she was doing my finger nails she hurt my pinky nail very much. After I pulled my finger away as a reaction to that, she hardly spoke. She cut my nails slightly different lengths and didn't ask what shape I wanted or anything. With my fingernails, one of the lower coats of polish wasn't allowed to dry fully before applying the next coat so now my nail polish is crinkled. During the small massage I got, the woman There is no mention of pricing that I saw in the store or on their website. They supposedly have a guarantee on their website if you aren't happy with your nails but I would rather pay to have them redone or do them myself than go back. Also their pedicures and manicures are below par even for basic services compared to other salons in the area. My mom went with me for a full set of sns with tips which took about 30 mins longer than my services and it was cheaper. This place is a rip off. read more

Went in today for the 1st time and got a pedicure and a full set of SNS nails for myself and a pedicure for my husband. Let me start by saying the pedicures were amazing, I will go back JUST for the pedicure ONLY! The nails however are a different story. I took a picture of the design I wanted and the tech told me no problem she could do it, I trusted her because she seemed like she knew what she was doing...BIG MISTAKE!! My family and friends have not stopped laughing at my nails still... they look like dog claws! This is by far the worst full set I have ever had in my life and I was lucky enough to pay $98 for this crap . The 1st time they put the design the tech did not wait til the polish dries before she put the top coat so it smeared, badly. She did not attempt to fix it then..she was going to let me leave like that, I had to show her and her manager and he made her redo the 2 nails which was a mistake al together because this is how I ended up with the dog claws! read more

Today was my first visit at Nail Studio! I had an appt with Holly for SNS after some bad experiences with Gel manicures. I came here because of the GREAT reviews! They are perfect. And I wasn't in the chair for long, maybe 50 minutes (she had to remove my previous gel mani so that took a few minutes). Greeting, Upon…read morearrival, I was welcomed into a quaint salon that was very cleanly and simplistic with perfect pops of color here and there. The nail technicians seemed focused and resilient, adding an interesting contrast to the Bubbly Lounge-Esque music/vibe of the music and decorations. One of the techs hollered at me to "Habbasee!!" While my brain did not know this tongue, my body felt beckoned by this call from could only be the Wild. I traveled as if dancing to a forgotten rhythm or smelling a freshly baked cartoon pie to the back hallway of the Parlor, where I meandered past an impressive infant I saw filing nails to the cuticle with bone-chilling precision (keep up the good work, Lily...) Once I arrived to the back of the Parlor, I was faced with a fork (in the hallway, not a utensil) and a fork in the hallway (utensil). One room was the bathroom (which was very clean and smelled of palm) and the other was another story... A woman, fifty-three (53 if you round to the nearest multiple of 53 and 1 [one], therefore fifty-three [53] being the only answer to the woman's age as she was NOT one [1] year old) was spread eagle with an old woman and a lone wax strip. As the woman YELPED ;) (ba-dum-shh [facetious bongo]) I was taken aback and flinched, until I realized the services being performed on her were far from simple manicures. TOGETHER is an understatement for my participation in this lady's Brazilian. Might as well call it a South American! The only legal/safety concern that transcended my immersive experience here was the health risk of the frail old woman who was doing the single-strip-waxing, I thought to myself: "There must be some form of tomb-raiding experience/certification needed to confront the absolute amazon of vines and foliage that the lady being waxed was auto-chemo-respirating downstairs..." After completion, I was allowed to skip the wait thanks to my back-room assistance and was given a chair. I came with the intention asked for a duck nail, as my younger sister ,Lisa Curwaden, had just gotten festive green, red, yellow, and white duck nails (her pinky nail on her right hand was too small to paint due to an incident with her Shih Tzu, so she doesn't paint the regular sized nail on her left pinky either in order to keep her internal Chi balanced) and I found them quite humble and perfect for the upcoming Yom Kippur season. But right as the words "duck nail" left my licker, the lights completely turned off in the salon save for a few red LED strips taped to the back of Lily's bald head (she hadn't begun to grow hair yet due to her age) resembling luxurious native scarlet locks. The technicians each pulled out weapons that seemed to be central to their chosen workplace personas and began screaming "GEDDDAAAOOO" at me until my hearing aids that already needed battery replacements forced me to take a step outside for some fresh ATL air. I smoked three packs of Smarties and attempted to reenter the salon, only to find the lights still off and the door locked. Overall, a very swell and educational experience that I will cherish for the next few days. Thank you, South America.

Ladies do not fall in love with your nail tech here!!!! If you have one you like now - get her phone number!! A few weeks ago I raved about this nail salon. That post was inspired by an excellent employee named Jen. I have driven an hour to this salon for nearly a year now specifically for Jen - I am very busy but I make the time because she is just that good!! I have tried other techs in the salon when Jen was not available. I just did not get the same level of perfection from them. Now I always call in to make apts with Jen only. I called today to find out Jen no longer works there - I have worked in the Corp world for over 10 yrs. I am also a business owner. While I do not know the details behind why Jen no longer works here - I am aware of what it boils down to. Either management did not appreciate or recognize an exceptional talent they had - to much flex of muscle resulting in her being let go. Or management did not do enough to ensure a talented employee remained happy - resulting in Jen spreading her wings & finding another job. As a business owner I am familiar with having employees - the different personalities & the challenge that can be. However, it has also taught me to read people well. The tone of the employees voice - who very politely & hesitantly explained to me Jen no longer works there - told me a lot. I do not believe Jen walked away - I know she is a mother. Mothers do not walk away from jobs on whim. Management ...you just lost a loyal & consistent customer of Jen's. I will most certainly not be back. I have zero intention of supporting a business that does not recognize the talent it has & does not support/work to maintain their employee's well being. Resulting in decisions being made that directly affects your CUSTOMERS!!!! read more

This nail studio is out of this world! I have been following these ladies for years and they are perfection. My normal experience includes gel polish, a pedicure and eyebrow waxing; all done with a gentle and professional touch. My gel polish normally lasts about 3 weeks and always looks perfect. They will do anything to make their customers comfortable and happy. The place is immaculate and everything is sterilized every time. If you really want a treat, you should try a deluxe pedicure; it is to die for! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an upscale nail pampering! read more

I paid $65 for a fill and asked for an almond shape, but the shape was terribly done. They were not even and some of them were slanted drastically. The gel chipped off the next day. There were so many bubbles underneath my nails that they asked me to not get French (what I originally wanted), but to have the color on my entire nail to cover up the bumps. I'm in love with my nails! Holly did a wonderful job and really took the time to make my nails perfect. The acrylics are nice and thin, and the shape is perfect. My nails are practical but still super cute! Their work is fantastic, but make sure you have an appointment because they were booked all day and it was difficult to get in without one. Amanda does my nails and is the only technician that has ever been able to get them to stay on for long periods of time. All of the ladies are very sweet and very helpful.
