First world rant: I didn't have an appointment so I didn't expect quick service. she said it would be a few minutes before getting started that turned into almost 35 minutes to get a technician (no biggie I can't complain) after waiting almost 40 min to get started unfortunately I no longer had have time for a pedicure only a polish change on my feet and the manicure nail polish application was horrible and the manager was rude. she charged me $3 for soaking my feet in water! (No flowers no special powder etc) and said she wouldn't take $$it off since it's not her fault I no longer had time to get the pedicure the nail polish job was sooooo bad!! Look for yourself staff is friendly I didn't want to cause trouble but I can't believe she charged me for crappy work on my nails. she was not budging. it's a hit or miss here. Waited 45 minutes despite making an appointment to get my nails done. The technician who eventually did come to do my nails did not listen to a single thing I wanted, I had to clarify 4 different times what I wanted, my nails are total different shapes and lengths and they just look bad, incredibly streaky and my fingers are stained with the black powder she used on my nails, even though she didn't even fill in my whole nail. My younger sister wanted a crescent moon art on her nail and it looked like a sperm. read more

UPDATE:realizing that I could not walk around with my nails looking like that, I went back and the manicurist immediately came to assist as she knew why I was there. She what she could and my nails look much more like I requested. The shape is still funky, but there wasn't much they could do about that at this point except completely redo them and I didn't want to be THAT person so she filed them down and cleaned up the sides as well as a more natural looking polish. This salon is definitely more for older designs, they are not up to date, in my eyes, to do more current trends. The shape of my nails is hardly almond. UPDATE: after getting my nails done yesterday, my nailbeds are hurting soooooooooo intensely! Having to do anything with water is extremely painful! I don't know what I did too this woman, but never have I been in pain hours after leaving a salon! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!! Not only do my nails not look how I wanted as well as being overpriced, but now I have bruises and blood to remind me of the experience for at least a week or two... Would not recommend. On top of that the lady doing my nails was rude, as soon i sat down got on her phone starting making calls and texting while i was waiting my nails to be done. While the technician did a good job, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I went for a pedicure. I understand that they want to get people in and out and that's why they do manis and pedis at the same time. I had people on both side of me getting both done. I felt like i was being smothered between people and also had to breathe in the dust from the filing of their nails. I had to move my coat and purse two times because they were in the way to the techs. Then a woman came and put a box with waxing items on the table where I had moved my coat and purse and proceeded to shove my stuff back. I received the worst manicure I've ever received and spent more then 2 hours in the salon. The quality was so bad it was almost funny. I don't know where they find their nail techs but they need more training or they just don't care. Unless you personally know them you will spend time waiting for someone to finally get to you. They pick and choose who they want to work with. They also don't listen to you well and are very short with their responses. When you go to a nail salon it is typically to relax while someone does your nails. It is impossible to relax here due to the noise of the workers NON STOP CHATTER. They don't have a receptionist so every time a customer walks in it is total chaos between the workers. The workers are constantly talking to each other and it is just extremely loud in there. It's July of 2020 and the covid infection and death statistics are through the roof. I've been 99% quarantined since March 3rd because I am as risk as it gets. I have a new heart valve, asthma, and complications from radiation from breast cancer. Finally to pull up my spirits, I called David at Nails of Capri to inquire about their covid protocol. I've been going there for several years, and they are super hygienic. I've never come down with a nail fungus or so much as caught a cold. Well, I went today, and they are doing an OUTSTANDING job with covid prevention and safety. I wore a mask. All customers are required to wear a mask. Every staff member wears a mask. I personally witnessed them wiping down chairs, etc with disinfectant. They have installed plexiglass partitions between each cudtomer chair. The lady that does my nails wore her mask while she worked on my feet-pedicure. When she worked on my fingernails, she also wore a total clear face cover like they use in a hospital, in addition to her mask. So, I was very secure. The rest rooms are clean and the trash can even has an automatic opener. I FEEL VERY SECURE. Publix grocery store should make mask mandatory. I am MUCH safer at Nails of Capri and I'm to re-establish my twice monthly visits. read more

Horrible service. The guy who did my nails had them several different lengths, did not smooth them properly and used a faulty uv light for my gel color that burned my finger. By the next day two of my nails were already lifting. I went back and they tried to patch up what he did. I had to insist that they take it off and start over. My nails still don't look much better.
