Anna was lovely, and Sarah at the front desk and Alina were incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to make my mom feel celebrated and even called me in to join her during the tea and chocolate session so we could share part of it together, a small but meaningful gesture. The spa has a quaint, calming atmosphere. It's relaxing without feeling pretentious - a very genuine and grounded feel. My mom left feeling cared for and pampered, which was exactly what I had hoped for. Terrible. Don't try and surprise your spouse with this Bluefern spa. They called/text my wife immediately after getting off the phone with me today and ruined the surprised and then gave her info about payment when I specifically told them to call me at my number and that it was a surprise. My girlfriend and I came and got massage and facial packages. We each got the same massage and the same facial. Everyone was very nice and the environment was relaxing and clean. However my girlfriend and I spoke about our services and they were not totally the same. During my girlfriend's facial she got arm and hand massages and a hand mask with warm gloves. She also got a head and neck rub. I did not receive either of those things and was a bit uncomfortable but couldn't speak because my lips were covered in a product that felt like Vaseline. I was a little bummed about the differences especially because I didn't get the little add ons. But other than that everything else was great. read more

Bluefern Spa has a professional and upscale aurora. I got my first ever deep tissue massage with the "Ultimate Signature Massage" (90 minutes), and it was heavenly. My massage therapist, Rana, made sure that I knew what to expect before I began my session, and expertly removed several knots in my muscles from head to toe, which improved my mobility significantly, especially in my hips and glutes. After my session, she waited outside afterwards and took the time to ask me how I felt now that I was standing. I told her it felt like I had a new body! I'm now sold on massage therapy and will make it a part of my routine multiple times a year. If it is your first time visiting a spa of this caliber, come 10 to 15 minutes early to give yourself enough time to fill out the form that tells them of any physical ailments you may have, what you hope to get out of the massage session, and what areas of your body you want more attention on. read more

I had a first time facial with Tammy. It was an awesome experience all around. My husband was able to call and make the appointment same day. They reserved enough time so I could speak with the esthetician and learn a little about my skin before starting. The process was great. Relaxing. Informative. Tammy was so sweet and shared information well. I really did enjoy the entire process. The only thing that I didn't LOVE was that I didn't feel the facial options were presented to me very directly. I did get the best facial available but because it was my first time ever I wasn't aware if I was receiving a basic beginner facial or a full out facial. I am very happy with what I received and will be back for more services. I have started a better skin care regime for myself simply based off of the information Tammy shared with me. Did not enjoy my time here. My husband got me a gift certificate for the salt room, red light therapy and tea/chocolates. The sound proofing in the spa is not good at all. While in the salt room, i could hear the people in the hair salon talking. There was someone in a room across the hall vacuuming or doing something that required a machine for several minutes. The salt room had a window that is only partially covered by salt blocks so you will have quite a bit of brightness in the room if you sit on that side. The tea and chocolates was nice however there is a massage or treatment room right next to the area they seat you in. I had the pleasure of hearing a man talk loudly about Taylor Swift concerts and the spa employee laughing along with him for 10 minutes. The red light therapy room faces Peachtree Industrial and at 5pm you will hear all the traffic, horns, and loud mufflers. There wasn't any music in the room. The staff was plenty nice but the loud talking and distracting noises have to be addressed. read more
