Bluefern Spa has a professional and upscale aurora. I got my first ever deep tissue massage with the "Ultimate Signature Massage" (90 minutes), and it was heavenly. My massage therapist, Rana, made sure that I knew what to expect before I began my session, and expertly removed several knots in my muscles from head to toe, which improved my mobility significantly, especially in my hips and glutes. After my session, she waited outside afterwards and took the time to ask me how I felt now that I was standing. I told her it felt like I had a new body! I'm now sold on massage therapy and will make it a part of my routine multiple times a year. If it is your first time visiting a spa of this caliber, come 10 to 15 minutes early to give yourself enough time to fill out the form that tells them of any physical ailments you may have, what you hope to get out of the massage session, and what areas of your body you want more attention on. read more

They reserved enough time so I could speak with the esthetician and learn a little about my skin before starting. The process was great. Relaxing. Informative. Tammy was so sweet and shared information well. I really did enjoy the entire process. The only thing that I didn't LOVE was that I didn't feel the facial options were presented to me very directly. I did get the best facial available but because it was my first time ever I wasn't aware if I was receiving a basic beginner facial or a full out facial. Did not enjoy my time here. My husband got me a gift certificate for the salt room, red light therapy and tea/chocolates. The sound proofing in the spa is not good at all. While in the salt room, i could hear the people in the hair salon talking. There was someone in a room across the hall vacuuming or doing something that required a machine for several minutes. The salt room had a window that is only partially covered by salt blocks so you will have quite a bit of brightness in the room if you sit on that side. The tea and chocolates was nice however there is a massage or treatment room right next to the area they seat you in. I had the pleasure of hearing a man talk loudly about Taylor Swift concerts and the spa employee laughing along with him for 10 minutes. The red light therapy room faces Peachtree Industrial and at 5pm you will hear all the traffic, horns, and loud mufflers. There wasn't any music in the room. The staff was plenty nice but the loud talking and distracting noises have to be addressed. read more

How did I miss this?? I've been seeking a spa that caters to all my needs and that's the type of spa BlueFern is. My husband attempted to make reservations at the John Creek location, but they were booked, so he made reservations at the Suwanee location. I was a little nervous because I thought it would be less than "spa-like" given that there is a salon. I was wrong. I barely noticed the salon. The staff is very pleasant. We were greeted by Allaina And she kindly answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable. She was very accommodating. My masseuse was Jolline and she was nothing but amazing! I highly recommend getting a 90 minute massage. I got the royal getaway package, and I'm so glad that I did. It includes time in the salt room. Jolline took her time and addressed every part of my body. It included hot towels on the neck, hot towels on the feet, hot towels on the rest of the body and hot stones.
