I come here monthly, sometimes twice a month if I just want to treat myself. ;) After coming here the first time a year and a half ago, I was sold. Their prices are pretty fair - the facials ($100, you can choose from various types) typically last 1.5hr which includes shoulder/upper back/face massage. They finish up with a mask at the end too. I always walk away feeling relaxed after my treatment. I'm now on my second package here, and take my husband for spa dates occasionally. I came here because the reviews were good. It was my first facial ever. I initially went for a regular facial (100$) but the owner convinced me to get a regular facial and a hydro facial (100$) since I've never had a facial I decided to pamper myself. So I did "both" I showed her my areas of concern and repeated many times that I wanted extractions. She said that I would get everything extracted. An other person came in to do my facial. Didn't introduce herself, didn't speak to me.. the facial it self was extremely quick annnddd no extractions. I had a pimple that she poked at. I was charged 200$. I wasn't asked anything, they just took my money. Since it was my first time I didn't know what to expect, was the extraction just that one pimple and not black heads etc? I didn't know... so I asked around and learned that it's a process. A RELAXING one... everything gets extracted. So... I'm very disappointed and hate that I spent that much money to just get my face washed and a pimple poked at that just got really irritated and looked infected which took two weeks to go down. I wouldn't recommend at all. I'm sure there are many other places that are kinder, actually give you what you pay for and makes sure your happy with your service. (Having a language barrier is t an excuse) if you have a business you just have to make sure you can service everyone who walks through your door. read more

I really really enjoy her massages, i think they're the best for upper body and i always fall asleep for half the session! I got recommended from my friends that this place is a great place to get any skin care and even for eyebrows. I spent too much time drawing my eyebrows, so I wanted a eyebrow tattoo but micro blading was a better choice. They made me an 3D eyebrows, where it looks like my own eyebrows. # of Visits: 25+ I've been going here for a few years now, and have come for various services: facials, eyelash extensions, and eyebrow tattoos. It used to just be Stella, but a couple years ago she hired an assistant, Mary. She's the sweetest and gives the best face/arm/neck massages. They're both Korean (and if you follow the news, korean beauty has all the latest and greatest), and speak a little English. It can be a little hard to follow, especially since I'm not familiar with beauty jargon, and since the prices aren't posted clearly anywhere (you have to ask or read Korean). Facials can range anywhere from $60 (facial, no skincare, acne) to $300 (HIFU-hi intensity focused ultrasound, CO2 laser resurfacing, toning/brightening via laser, etc.) Treatments can last anywhere from 1-3 hours. The last 30+ minutes is usually sealing everything in with a rubber face mask and some calming classical music. I've also fallen asleep there, so I think they let me sleep/stay longer if there's not another customer waiting. Oops haha. They just renovated January 2018 and now have 7 treatment rooms. Ample parking. They're across the street from World Toyota, and in the same shopping plaza as Arte3 and Seo Ra Beol. Not to mention it feels good supporting a small, female-owned business. Last selling point. Did I mention Stella & Mary both have great skin (life goals) so you just walk in full of aspirations to look that good when you're their age. Try to avert your eyes from the Krispy Kreme that's diagonal from their store as you drive out; they can always tell when I've detoured. If you are looking to get your eyebrows microbladed, look no further! I had a wonderful experience at Stella Skin & Laser, yesterday. I called roughly two weeks in advance to inquire the procedure, pricing and schedule my appointment. Upon my arrival, I was greeted promptly and had my temperature checked. It was just a device that was "scanned" over my forearm. I was interested in removing a mole and was happy to get this five-minute laser treatment complete at the same time as the microblading. I quickly filled out my forms and was on my way to the room. The procedure was nearly painless as you have numbing cream applied and wait for 30-minutes. Prior to the cream application, the specialist draws your desired shape. The ink is semi-permanent. I will be back in six weeks for my touch up and then back in several years, when the ink completely fades away. read more

I go here regularly for collagen facial and microneedling. Their prices recently went up so the collagen facial is now $100 and microneedling is now $300. Huge increase so I might not be getting the microneedling anymore. My favorite girls are Grace and Mary. Wonderful attention to detail and thorough massages. The scalp massages are heavenly. One word: results! You pay for what you get. I have the package where it is meticulously programmed to definitely boost results for your skin. I have acne scars and freckles and Stella works so digiliently to focus on those areas. I come in, never have to wait, greeted so kindly by staff, get my facial, head and arm massage, light back massage, and then have my treatment ranging from CO2 laser or collagen treatment. My mom also goes here and when she sees me, she would say "you just got the collagen treatment, huh?" And I would see her and ask "you just got your freckles lasered, huh?" 7. Decisions, decisions (2/23) I walked in and went to check-in with the receptionist. She asked me to wait in the waiting area, which I did. After a couple of minutes, Stella came out with the receptionist/interpreter and she started speaking Korean. The receptionist told me that today's facial would be the hyaluronic acid facial from the package and that it wouldn't be free, so I had to decide whether to proceed with the package or not. To be honest, I was kind of caught off guard because I thought today's appointment would be the 3rd free treatment, I even told them that, but Stella said that she had already given me 4 free treatments. I was caught off guard with that too because I could have sworn that wasn't true but I wasn't too sure. While they were talking, I sneaked a peak in my calendar and I realized that if she really meant 4, then she was counting all the facials after the fractional laser. Damn. Anyway, so this too went on for a while and they kept telling me that after receiving the hyaluronic acid facial, my skin would look sooo much better and that my skin would also feel so much better. Given that I had heard these same words regarding the collagen treatment and I hadn't noticed a difference, I wasn't completely convinced. So, I proceeded to ask the big question again, "Do I need this treatment? Or will the box around my mole and the lines around my face go away on their own? Like, a year from today, will I still have this? Or how about October?" They answered, "No, you won't have that by October. This will go away over time, but this facial will make it go away faster." That was it for me. That was what I needed to hear. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. This was NOT permanent! I didn't care for it to go away quickly, I just needed it to be gone on its own. Sure, would I have loved my skin going back to normal after a week as they had initially told me?? YES! But only because I was TOLD that my skin should be radiant after 7 days! Anyway, so at that point I was kind of set on my decision but I wanted some time to think it over so I asked them for a couple of minutes. Once I made my final decision, I walked up to the receptionist, given that Stella wasn't around, and told her that I'd like a refund. She asked me to go to a room (not my usual, this time it was the one all the way in the back) and wait there. I waited for a while, like, I even made a phone call to my friend and we talked about her upcoming vacation plans to Thailand. It was a WHILE. When Stella came in the room, she asked why I hadn't changed into the robe and that she would just do a fast facial today because she had some other clients waiting. I was a little confused because she had originally basically asked me to choose between the facial or refund, so I asked her if I was getting my refund and the facial to which she nodded. Once again, I said that I wanted a refund and asked if I was really going to get a facial. She then left to get the receptionist. When they came back to the room, they spoke in Korean and then the receptionist asked if I was asking for a refund to which I responded, "Yes, that's what I said to you outside." And they both exchanged words and Stella apologized, saying that they had misunderstood. I guess it was okay, but I mean, I couldn't have been any clearer. Stella only charged me for the fractional laser ($290), which I was fine with, and she refunded the rest of the package money. As I was leaving, she said to come back if I need any other facial, and I actually did consider it since I did get my refund and they were accomodating, for the most part. read more

# of Visits: 6, more booked I've been coming here since September of this year. I've gotten my eyebrows microbladed and two fractional lasers done for my acne scars. Stella and her assistant Mary are amazing. Although they're the only employees there, they're quick and efficient. Make sure to have an appointment before going though as they're usually filled with 2-3 clients at once. Best time to go is 1-4 pm on weekdays. Prices are also very reasonable, and they also have great package deals. Below are the services I've received in detail. 1. Eyebrow microblade: $200 + $20 tip = $220 - They put on a topical numbing cream on your brows for about 30 minutes and you wait in a room. - Stella draws the brows on you with a pencil first and asks for your input. - She then begins the microblading procedure, painless (kind of tickles though) and takes about 20-30 minutes. - You're advised to not to get the brow area wet for a week. What I did was I put on a waterproof band-aid over my brows when I took a shower or washed my face. - Your brows begin to peel after a week, but do not pick! Wait two weeks for a touch-up (free, touch-ups usually cost $ at other labs) - Same process: numbing cream, draw with pencil, microblade, don't get the area wet for a week My brows look amazing and I'm so happy I don't have to draw them on anymore! 2. Fractional laser (3 times) + regeneration therapy (2 times) + toning laser (2 times) = $870 (usually worth $1200+ if done separately) - They put on a topical numbing cream on your face for about 45 minutes-1 hr and you wait in a room. - You move to the fractional laser room and Stella begins the laser process. Takes about 30 minutes for your entire face. Stella's also removed my beauty marks on my face for no extra cost! - As soon as you're done, you move to the room you started at and they put on a cold collagen molding mask on your face. Your face will be hot and throbbing, but this mask helps a lot. You put it on for about 40 minutes. Wait one week for regeneration therapy (takes about 1 hr; Mary gives you a massage and another molding mask!) Wait one week for toning laser session (also takes about 1 hr with no numbing cream; Stella does all the laser treatments) Wait two more weeks for another fractional laser I've gotten TWO fractional lasers so far and the scars on right side of my face are almost gone (see photos). My face has gotten significantly smoother and clearer than before. My blackheads are also gone and my pores are almost non-existent. They only administer fractional lasers during the fall and winter time (October to March), so you have to come in time. Also, fractional lasers are best for boxcar or rolling acne scars, not ice pick scars. I have one more laser session left, but planning on getting one more outside of my package deal. If you're searching for a place to get your eyebrows microbladed look no further. I called Stella Skin and Laser today and she was able to book my appointment for the same day. I legit had no eyebrows prior to my appointment and she was able to turn my barely there brows into full natural looking brows. I cannot recommend this place enough. Stella was so kind and professional throughout the whole process. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. She never rushed me through any part of my appointment. When you walk in she takes your temperature at the door and she wears a mask throughout the process so no worries on the cleanliness or regulation of covid. She maps and draws on your brows with a pencil and lets you make corrections according to your preference. Once the brows are drawn on she puts numbing cream on and leaves it on for about 30min. They have a really good deal/package; 4 microneedling, 4 toning laser and 4 collagen treatments for 1k $. Every treatment is like 1 hour long and comes with massages. If your face is starting to droop and you see those smile lines around your mouth when you're NOT smiling, then it's time for you to hit this place up. Let's face it (pun intended). Night cream and topicals are only going to get you so far. I was seeing my face go south, literally, and I needed some professional intervention. I highly recommend one of the packages because the individual treatments can get pricey. I got one of the anti aging packages that included 8 different treatments. They were all written in Korean and although I can read Korean, I had no clue what some of them were. No fear, just go with it. The first treatment was the fraxel laser, which was the most invasive. Each treatment after that was not nearly as invasive and did not have the down time of the fraxel laser. The treatments last about an hour and a half each and include a full facial massage. The ladies here are super nice, but be aware their English is not great. Some are better than others, however don't let this turn you off. Some of the employees here have been trained on these procedures in Korea which I personally prefer for better and more effective treatment. They are also very welcoming to non Korean speaking customers (unlike some other businesses in Duluth) and they are open on Saturdays! read more
