Last week I decided to try a microneedling facial with her and again am very satisfied with the results. As she promised, it was not painful at all. I had great results. My pores are minimized and skin looks plumper and rejuvenated. I got this on a Thursday and was back to work on Friday. I had an appointment with JAIME for Dysport and filler. I had a late onset inflammatory response in…read morewhich I had to seek treatment at an Urgent Clinic and subsequently the ER. I had severe redness and burning of my face along with intense shivering, chills and low grade fever when admitted to the ER. I was 3 weeks post treatment and I had large, firm nodules on both sides of my jaws with significant bruising to left side and moderate to mild on right side. I looked like a chipmunk storing food in my cheeks. I couldn't believe what I was going through. It was the worst and I wish I had never had my filler treatment done. I've regretted it completely. I couldn't believe I had a treatment done 10 years prior with barely a bruise and very mild swelling. It was a walk in the park compared to this. My experience was repeatedly dismissed by Jaime and the office manager, Stacey as a late onset inflammatory reaction. They could not understand that my body was rejecting the filler despite my trip to the ER. They still couldn't understand it continued to happen after a round of steroids and H1/H2 antihistamines. I was having to start additional steroids and continue the H1/H2 antihistamines due to my symptoms returning. My upper arms and legs were hot and felt like they were burning along with my torso. I had to pack myself in ice to be comfortable. I was completely miserable and no one at Vitality Med Spa cared what I was experiencing after a treatment they performed. I was told I could have my filler reversed but it would be 18 more days before they could "get to me". They also informed me that when they could see me it wasn't an emergency or considered an allergic response or in their eyes even necessary so I would have to pay $300 per each vial needed to reverse my filler. Forget already paying over $2000+ for my treatments that day. Now I'm on the hook for more expenses to reverse a treatment that went awry. I was told the office manager would reach out to me but that never happened. I even asked if a specific Dr on staff could see me for the reversal sooner since Jaime couldn't but I was told he no longer worked there. I even went into the spa to have the bruises broken down with an IPL to quicken their recovery process. I hoped to see Jaime one of those days to inspect the larger nodule in my left jaw since it was still large and firm. I wasn't sure if it was something to be more concerned with like an infection as it was still swollen and warm to touch. However, when I came out of the laser tx room, I could hear Jaime talking to another staff member and refused to see me for an evaluation because she was "too busy" as she stayed hiding in a supply closet until I left the spa. I was shocked that she couldn't care less about what I was going through. I've never felt this way about Vitality in all my years I've had services done. Never thought as big as they are, with all the awards they have and as long as they have been around..they would ignore the well being of a client that was going through a situation merely due to a service/treatment that occurred under their roof. That's like having surgery and subsequently having an infection or some other medical issue and the Dr saying they did the surgery but the patient having an infection/other issue...that's on the patient and the patient has to figure it out without the Dr's help. Sorry Vitality Med Spa, you have to expect some bad with the good...not every procedure is always going to go as planned! Unfortunately, I know firsthand!!!

I'll start this review by saying I lost over 115lbs by myself in the last 18 months. I was so nervous to go to see a plastic surgeon back around Memeorial day. I kept getting an infection in my apron, my lower abdomen and a few of my doctors had told me last fall I needed to get mentaly prepared to eventually have surgery. Well, after three months of fighting this infection it was decided that even though i have another 30lbs or so to lose that I need to go ahead and have some of the skin removed. I walked in so nervous, thinking I would be seeing a bunch of skinny model type women and that i would be treated differently because i didn't have this certain body type. Not only was I completely wrong but Dr. Yugueros was so warm and heart felt. She even, very kindly, told me that it wasn't a weight loss method and that normally she would want me at goal but I had lost a lot and kept it off and she would go ahead with it because of that. Some doctors will just take your money but she cares enough to ensure that you realize its not a quick fix. After the surgery, I have congential and chronic health issues, so my recovery was hard. I saw every some weeks everyday or her RN (Wanda is also wonderful!!). These appointments are part of the whle package because at the end of the day they care most about the wellbeing and recovery of the patient. I joke that they torture me everytime I go in but in hindsight I wouldn't want it any other way. They take tape off and check scars to ensure they are healing correctly and they clean them and give you instructions on how to handle them until your next appointment. They are available by phone and the office manager Wendy is quick to check emails and respond right back to the patients. I have friends who have had plastic surgery with other practices, I wouldn't dare think of going anywhere else. As far as the results, I'm only six weeks out but I'm very happy with my results and love looking into the mirror seeing such a flatter stomach. I can't wait to get back to diet and exercise so that I can get the rest of my body back but I could have never gotten this far without Dr. Yugueros and her team! read more

I absolutely love Luna Plastic Surgery! The entire staff is super sweet and Dr. Yugueros took the time to listen to all my concerns and wants! I was really nervous thinking about getting work done but from the moment I walked in the door I could tell that I was in good hands. They offer a variety of services and I was taken back on how well they explain everything from start to finish!!! (I am the type that needs to have their hand held especially when dealing with something so new.) They were always there to answer any questions or concerns. #1: Ten years ago I had breast enhancement surgery with Dr. Yugueros. The practice was professional and knowledgeable. The experience was stress free. The enhancement job is amazing. They look real. #2: I had an abnormal ultrasound and called the office to see Dr. Yugueros. (I was a patient 10 years ago). The office scheduled me for the next business day. I waited a short amount of time and Dr. Yugueros did a thorough examination. Everything is good. #3: Dr. Yugueros was compassionate, knowledgeable, and completely explained the situation. She also offered to see me every year if I was concerned and wanted to ensure everything was ok. Luna plastic surgery provides a TOP NOTCH result while remaining patient focused. I visited Luna Plastic Surgery once before and saw Dr. Yugueros. I am totally amazed with the time, care and interest this doctor gave to me. Being a guy, I had many questions and I was never hurried or felt like there was a rush or that I was just another patient of the day. Dr. Yugueros and the entire staff at Luna Plastic Surgery is amazing. Dr. Yugueros takes the time to listen to your desired results, and then creates a plan to achieve these goals. Unlike at some of the other locations I went to for consultations, I did not feel like just a number at a spa where I was being rushed and hurried in to scheduling. Her last visit was on August…read more25, 2025, at the Alpharetta location where she saw Dr. Laney Hales for the second time (previously she was under the care of Dr. Susan Spitzler, but for unknown reasons she is no longer seen by her). While her acne treatment initially showed progress, the improvements had seriously declined over the past year and we were already considering transferring to another specialist. The real issue, however, is not the medical results -- it is the unacceptable and unlawful billing practices we encountered after this most recent visit. We received over five phone calls and a voicemail in less than 24 hours from "Rose," who admitted that she had made an error in insurance verification. At checkout, our daughter entered her Blue Cross Blue Value insurance information and was explicitly told by the front desk staff that the insurance was accepted. We made the required $55 co-pay transaction, and that was the only authorized payment. Now, after the fact, we are being told that Spectrum "no longer accepts Blue Cross Blue Value as of April 2025," and they are attempting to retroactively treat this as a self-pay account. This is a misrepresentation of payment terms and an unfair business practice. Under O.C.G.A. § 10-1-393 (Georgia Fair Business Practices Act) and 15 U.S.C. § 45 (Federal Trade Commission Act, Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices), a business cannot misrepresent services, payment terms, or insurance acceptance to a consumer, collect money under one agreement, and then attempt to enforce new terms after payment was already made. We explicitly dispute any additional charges beyond the $55 co-pay we authorized. By law, this constitutes a transaction agreement, and attempting to coerce additional payment after providing verbal assurance of insurance acceptance may also violate O.C.G.A. § 13-6-11 (Bad Faith and Harassing Conduct in Contract Enforcement). Furthermore, the conduct of the staff was unprofessional and dismissive. The office manager even remarked that she had to "step out of her very important meeting" to speak with me -- as if patients who have paid faithfully since 2022 are of no importance. The stress and hostility of this experience were completely unacceptable. We have maintained accurate records of our payments and communications and will defend our position under applicable state and federal consumer protection laws. Patients deserve honesty, respect, and transparency -- none of which we received from Spectrum Dermatology of Atlanta in Alpharetta.
