I am only 1 day post-op, but I have been thoroughly impressed by everyone in this practice. So nice, so understanding, and so good at what they do. The skill and expertise of Dr. Yugueros is only half of the experience at Luna Plastic Surgery. The staff is outstanding and their care and follow up is amazing. I saw Dr Yugueros for reconstruction on my breasts post a double Mastectomy over 17 years ago. Another surgeon had wanted to do a very complex and invasive procedure to correct my issues. Dr. Yugueros took one look and recommended a less invasive surgery and things look great and I was up and running around within 48 hrs. Wow...Dr. Yugueros. Its very sad that you have to justify a botched job, that you performed, by blaming your horrible work on the previous performance of other doctors. Not to mention all the other b.s you wrote. You as a medical professional, should have advised me that you lack the abilities and were not capable of fulfilling my needs as a patient. But no, your greed for money trumped you telling me the truth. You took over $15,000.00 from me and this is the sorry I get. I absolutely recommend going to Luna Plastic Surgery! I was nervous about having a tummy tuck procedure. I had several consultations before deciding and I made the best decision by going with them. The surgeon and the entire staff were all professional, pleasant and very welcoming. They all cared about my wellbeing.The day of surgery my husband was full of nerves and he told Dr. Yugueros please take care of my girl. Everyone from the receptionist, massage therapist, nurses to the doctor have been nothing but kind knowledgeable and available. First, I would like to start by saying how incredible the staff at Luna Plastic Surgery has been to me. They greet you by name and with a smile on their face. One of the things that I find most impressive about this practice is the fact that Dr. Yugueros is a mayo trained surgeon. Before she specialized in plastics she was specializing in hand reconstruction. Which, if you don't know, is an extremely meticulous craft. Dr. Yugueros and her esthetician Tina advised me on skin care, which turned out AMAZING. When I was told by an ENT that I may need to have my deviated septum "fixed" she was the person I came to. It turns out I don't need to have anything "fixed". Whenever I am concerned about something "cosmetic" she is the doctor that I turn to for advise. My husband also came to Dr. Yugueros recently because he was having a problem with overactive sweat glands. She placed Botox in his under arms and now it's so much better. Dr. Yugueros has always been very straight with me. Knowing that she will be honest with me in situations where others would take advantage of you, is something you cannot put a price on. I know that I can trust her and her staff without a shadow of a doubt. She has a wonderful team around her, who meet all expectations. If you need an amazing plastic surgeon, or simply desire to improve your skin care, this is your place! read more

Please do not go here. Honestly I still haven't figured out if the doctor doesn't know what she's doing or if she's a crook. Her fillers are so expensive and never show any effect. Even simple things like laugh lines stay the same after she injects the fillers. I just feel like I get robbed when I go in and I will never go back. I have spent thousands on fillers at her office and none have made any difference. Find another doctor. read more

As the result of a botched physical therapy session after an emergency appendectomy in April, 2014, I was left with a 16 inch abdominal hernia within which my bowels protruded through my abdominal wall. Due to a cardiac condition I had, this could not be repaired until 6 months after my open heart operation was completed in May, 2015. I had lost a substantial amount of weight (105 pounds) during the preceding 5 years, so my skin formed an apron-like fold in my pelvic area. The abdominal surgeon felt that plastic surgery would be necessary to remove the skin to facilitate proper healing, so Dr. Patricia Yugueros, chief surgeon at Luna, took me on as a patient. I never, in my life, thought I'd have a tummy tuck, but insurance approved it and I had both operations on 11/11/2015. In my four office visits, pre-op and post-op, I find it humorous to sit in the waiting area with female patients awaiting their appointments. No one has asked me yet, but I can see the question marks flying over their heads about the 68 year old, balding dude. I am entirely happy with my results. My final post-op visit with Dr. Yugueros is next month, May, when she will make an in-office "adjustment" to two small puffy places at the ends of the incision, and I'll be turned loose. read more

This doctor's staff is so rude and condescending, they (compared to other plastic surgery offices) are impossible to work with. I was spoken to in the most disrespectful way by their nurse, Wanda, who demeaned me, and acted as if I was beneath her, laughed at me and mocked me, when I need a medical procedure and am in horrible pain. Her people are universally rude and uninterested - all the staff "sizes up" the patient for how much work she is going to have done. I did not do well because I wanted a medical procedure - they wanted to sell me high priced procedures, which I did not want. This is how they treat people who are suffering and in pain?! They only want to SELL expensive procedures, and as mine are not expensive and covered by insurance, they do not want to do it, as the doctor could make more money with more expensive and profitable procedures, for the same time in the surgery suite. Her before and afters do not look as good as other doctors, and I have seen quite a few. They are only interested in high profit procedures, and not medical procedures and only want people with very deep pockets. They have no compassion for someone needing surgery for a painful medical condition, and treated me so badly until I had no choice but to walk away, which is exactly what they wanted me to do. They keep trying to "sell" me expensive cosmetic procedures, and when you say you are not interested, for perhaps the hundredth time, they lose interest. If you want good surgical results, and good cosmetic work, with people who realize that these are serious medical procedures, and respect you, go elsewhere. There are a lot of really excellent doctors, and this practice is not the best at all and it was chosen for insurance considerations only, not best office, nicest office, or any other reason. There are double and triple board certified plastic surgeons, and anyone wanting cosmetic surgery, there are many doctors doing a lot better work than this one, with kind staff that want to help you. This staff only want a big bonus at the end of the year, from a very profitable office. Choose wisely, as you could end up with a costly mistake and very unpleasant people if you choose this office without going to many doctors. I have, and there are many, many doctors who care, with nice staff, who want a good result and happy patient. read more
