I went to Sugar Bee Waxing today for the first time and I was very pleased with the services I received. I had many questions as I usually do regular wax and on both my phone call as well as in my appointment all my questions were thoroughly answered. I found the sugar wax to be superior to the regular waxes I usually get, less painful and apparently more likely to leave ingrowns. Natalia did an excellent job paying attention to every detail and made me have a comfortable experience with fantastic results. Denise is AMAZING! She rocked it. I love the after effects of waxing but hate the process itself. However she was as gentle as possible and tried to be quick so I had as little discomfort as possible! Will definitely be back to see her! I've been hearing about sugaring for some time now & was curious. Last year my band got me to get a Brazilian wax for carnival. I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to continue going. After a business meeting, I decided to stop by the only sugaring spa in the area. Sugar Bee Waxing! The Yelp reviews were nice and I was in need of a service. Upon entering I was greeted by their welcoming receptionist. She asked if I had an appointment. I said no and she immediately slipped me into the schedule. Wow! Service with a smile. The decor of the waiting area was beautiful. From the honeycomb mirror patten on the wall to the hollywood chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the self serve coffee they were making a statement. They want people to come, make themselves at home and get ready for the best service of their lives! Denise Santos, one of the owners, did my service. She was polite and very friendly. We even watched FRIENDS during my service! I've never done that at a spa. TV takes your mind off of the current situation and relaxes you. The sugaring process is quite unique. When waxing you have to use strips and a lot of product. In sugaring there are no strips and they are able to utilize the same handful of product the entire time. Sugaring is an actual paste composed of natural sugar, lemon and water. That's it! No harmful chemicals. I enjoyed my service and will most definitely be back next month for my next service. If you wax, you'll LOVE SUGARING! If you've never waxed, do yourself a favor and try something new. You never know what may be your next BIG OBSESSION! read more

I followed the requirements but it was white bumps and painful ingrown hairs like 4 days later. She waxed first then sugared. I went somewhere else and they were highly against sugaring. Ive heard forever that sugaring is better for your skin than waxing, but somehow always validated that slightly less price to stick with waxing, even though Id get tons of ingrowns. After that situation got BAD, i finally thought sure, I'll give it a try! I'll never go back. Ladies, that extra $10 is WORTH IT. I went here for the first time and my esthetician was Thay. I had my eyebrows sugared and my upper lip. I have never in my life been so relaxed while getting a wax. She made me feel so comfortable and made sure I was okay during the process. We just moved here from Texas and my last wax was absolutely horrible. Please give this place a try and ask for Thay she was absolutely amazing. My eyebrows look phenomenal and she didn't miss a hair on my lip. I was impressed! I have been getting waxed for over 12 years but recently moved to the area. Its been an anxious search but I believe I found my fit here. OMG IN LOVE! My friend recommended this place to me since another one closer to me has new management and not that great. (Not referring to another sugar bee location). This one is fairly reasonably priced. I absolutely LOVE the fact that each time they use a wax bottle on you they always throw it away after your session is over and never re use the same bottle. I tried sugar wax for the first time and that was fantastic. Love the fact that it does not leave any residue nor do I feel sticky once it's done. Denise is amazing and so sweet and fun to work with! Sara is just amazing and I highly recommend the sugar wax. I went to a Brazilian by Andrea wax place in Buckhead 5 years ago and I am pretty sure that they double dipped. My skin was a mess for weeks and I never tried this service again. Sugar Bee is super hygenic and friendly. The sugar is far less painful and my skin feels fine, but I also credit this to Sara. The service was terrible and awful. The receptionist and esthetician did not greet us when we walked in for our scheduled appointment. They just looked at us. The esthetician did not really talk or engage my teenage daughter during her service. My daughter got the eyebrow sugar wax and her eyebrows looked just okay afterward. She has thick eyebrows that turned out uneven after the service. The receptionist was able to speak just fine to the lady that was in front us when she checked her out. When I went up to pay, the receptionist again was minimal and unfriendly and didn't even ask me if I wanted to make another appointment like she did for the lady in front of me. First and last time going there and I will be sure to tell my friends through social media and word of mouth of this bad experience. read more

The most thorough, wonderful experience I've had in waxing. Went in today for a full body wax (legs and Brazilian for me) but decided to upgrade the $10 for the sugaring Brazilian portion. The first place I've ever gotten a Brazilian sugar wax from and it's so quick and the pain is tolerable. I would say my wax takes about 10 minutes each session and I've been doing it for 2 years now. So I've been coming here since they first opened and Denise is amazing. I drive 45 mins to and hour to support her business! My wax last about a month to a month an a half and I've never regret it since. The hair does come back slower and lighter so that's a plus! read more

This last girl we had I was not impressed with, I would guess she was new b/c I have never seen her before or her name when booking. Will request someone different next time. Came here about a little over a month ago and got a brow sugar and tint by Sara. She was very knowledgeable and very honest with my about what the service would entail. It was a bit on the pricey side, but my brow shaping has lasted me until now! The tint did fade after a week and a half, I credit this mostly to my face wash and my skin type. I'm not sure if it would last longer on anyone else. I love this place. While the tint was not for me, I would definitely try some of their other services. read more
