She has always made me feel comfortable from the start. She works quickly and efficiently and ensures to answer any questions you might have about any procedure. You cannot trust just anyone to do your sugaring or waxing, especially in sensitive areas, but I have never been disappointed here. I book everything online and if you need to reschedule, calling in is a breeze. The other staff I have interacted with have always been pleasant and accommodating. You can also get package deals for your sugaring or waxing to save money and for convenience. I did this in the past and recommend it if you can afford it upfront. I would not go anywhere else for my sugaring or waxing needs. I highly recommend this shop if you need any hair removal done or any other services they offer. My daughter had a "back wax" for the first time at this facility. In preparation for this service, I Googled the rating, which returned to 4.7 Stars. We called the company to find out what to expect since this was her first time. Also, she had an event to attend and wanted to ensure there were no issues with her back after the service. The company advised us to come a few days earlier in case of minor irritation (considering eyebrow and lip waxing, you might get a minor irritation). Also, the esthetician recommended that my daughter get a "Sugar wax" service. We arrived five days before the event and had the service done. The esthetician had my daughter sign a waiver and advised her to use Neosporin or Hydrocortisone in case of minor irritation. My daughter said that the esthetician used her gloved hands as she repeatedly put the product on her back, but she didn't change the gloves between applications. My daughter thought to herself that she hoped the esthetician would change the product for each new client. Immediately after the service, walking out the door, I checked her back and saw white pimples populating on her back. My daughter didn't go back into the facility to make them aware because she had already addressed the possibility of some irritation. My daughter used hydrocortisone to help with the rash; now it's red. After the event, the rash developed fully on her entire back. The earliest we could get an appointment with a dermatologist was that Wednesday. During the visit, the dermatologist said this rash was caused by a contaminated product caused by double-dipping. She prescribed a cream to be used daily for at least two weeks, possibly three. We are still working on the rash, which has been present for seventeen days. Yesterday, we showed my daughter's back and spoke to the company about the problem. We requested a refund for the cost of the service and dermatologist visit. The problem was not a minor irritation but a massive reaction to contaminated products caused by staff negligence, which caused a full-blown rash. We asked to speak to the owner, which the esthetician declined. She responded that she would give the information to the owner and get back to us tomorrow. Today, after two follow-up calls from me, they finally responded: "Your daughter signed the waiver, which clearly states that we are not responsible for anything; therefore, they will not give a refund." In all honesty, based on yesterday's conversation with the esthetician, we didn't expect them to show good ethics or integrity. If I saw a review like this and the pictures as proof, I would say, "Thank you very much!" And move on to another company. We can only make decisions in today's world through the "Reviews." So even if you have a 5-star rating along with these business practices, I would not take the chance because you or your loved one suffers; the company moves on with business as usual. They have to be held accountable! So, we will be filing this information to The State Board of Georgia because this is a health issue that requires investigating or, at the very least, recording. No STAR ratings. We are making sure you get the information so that you can make the right decision. read more

SMWS is a hair removal and skin care studio that just opened less than a year ago. It is located in the same shopping center as Earth Fare, The Flying Biscuit, and Noble Fin across the street from The Forum. Although small, the studio maximized their space and added bright, modern decor. Very chic. The lobby, rooms, and bathrooms were immaculate. Plenty of parking available. I discovered the studio from a previous Yelp event and enjoyed it so much I returned for another service. I have been to the studio a total of 3x now. I have also tried three different hair removal services all with Shital. She has 12 years of experience and is very attentive and thorough. She made me feel comfortable. I made my appointments online. Their site was easy to navigate and I was able to do it using my smart phone. All the staff members are pleasant and friendly. They greet customers immediately upon arriving and offer refreshments. I have left each appointment satisfied and will continue to use them if I'm in town. read more

I honestly hate that I have to leave this review but after considering it, I would really hate for this to happen to anyone else. I went in for a usual brazilian wax and eyebrows before my vacation and decided to do my face as well since I like my face being smooth under my makeup. I initially thought my waxer was moving too fast and the wax felt hot but didn't think much of it since she is the professional. I typically wax my face at home but decided to get it done here since I was already getting everything else. The waxer slaps the wax on my face and after ripping a few pieces stops and asks me: "do you use retinol?" I responded no, that I had a very simple skin care routine. She told me we needed to thread on a specific part of my face next time and put a huge glob of hydrocortisone on my face and told me this is very common. I paid a full $135 and was given no explanation of what to expect except "keep it out of the sun". Please see the terrible burn I got on my face. I now have a dark spot on my face that i pray will fade away with time. I can't believe the lack of apology, I am so disheartened because I was really excited to have found my new wax spot. What a great addition to my favorite shopping center in Peachtree Corners! The service providers are highly skilled. I have full, thick, firmly-rooted brows that require a great deal of maintenance. When I leave Sugar Me, they are tamed, sleek, and beautiful. I opt for threading, which is quick, relatively painless, and easy. Get the aloe at the finish - it feels great. The salon is beautiful and pristine. You can book appointments online or just book your next visit as you pay for your current service. You can receive a reminder via text if you need it. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was whisked away promptly after filling out brief paperwork. Though making an appointment might be smart; when I left the place, it was getting even busier. Sugar Me Waxing Studio offers sugaring and waxing as the name implies, as well as threading, henna, facials, and other treatments. The studio was clean and organized. Ami was friendly, chatty but not overly so, and skilled. She was very efficient so everything was over in a snap. I also like how there's a list of services and prices posted on their website. This place is awesome! Great location with plenty of parking, easy to find, and clean parking lot. Inside was beautiful! I think pink is their favorite color or something, but it was really nice inside. Let me try to give you a visual with my words: There were plush chairs and a small waterfall in the waiting area. Walking further inside you would find 2 plush white hydraulic chairs and 2 large lighted mirrors mounted. There are also a couple of chairs across from those chairs set up kinda like a bistro set. I believe this is the makeup area. Further back there are about 3 secluded bays and the back area is kind of open. The bays have one spa bed, large mounted lit mirror, countertops and each bay is set up for waxing or a scrub (or whatever you signed up for). There is also mood lighting in each bay. The last bay is what is called "the facial room". It is nearly the same setup as the other bays, but it's a more open space with more chairs and more mirrors. The spa be in there is a little different because from what I could tell, there is a hot pink plush throw on it. I got my first bikini wax service there and I was very impressed. Shital (I think that's how her name is spelled) was very professional, soothing and she was very nice. I thought I was going to turn red and get irritated, but none of that happened and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I want her to be the one to do it again when the time comes. Well have mixed feelings about this establishment, seen on Yelp they had excellent reviews. Walked in there was a lady to my right didn't have a mask on and receptionist had hers on her chin. I wanted my eyebrows manicured and ask her who ever works on me to where a mask , she replied we all do, then she put on her mask. So she said she will be right with u u can have seat over here, the the lady in the corner said something to her in return she says ok I'll be right with you. Didn't like that, she did do a good job on my eyebrows, but I choose not to return. Easy parking in a great area. read more

This place is so clean and the staff is amazing. I've gotten a Brazilian wax from Ami C. as well as eyebrow threading from her and it went really well. I use the hard wax, which is much better for me for my sensitivity down there. She makes great conversation and eases the awkwardness of getting a Brazilian wax! I also like that they have discounts every once in a while, super helpful because waxes can add up! They're waiting area is always stocked with treats and I always leave with a snack or two :o). Went in for a chin and lip wax as a walk-in. I was taken in fast and the lady (not sure who she was) seemed kind. She began the wax and all of the sudden I felt a big rip (outside of the wax area) and skin was missing. It stung bad. She said, "Your skin was dry. I'll put some hydrocortisone cream on it". I have never had to leave a wax studio with hydrocortisone cream on my face! I had just had a facial the night before where I double moisturized. The LAST thing my skin was, was dry. Try this, instead of blaming the customer without knowing all information; try owning the mistake. Apologize and make it right. I left the studio with a big white clump of cream on my face. There is two skin lesions on my face now that have scabs over them. Thanks a lot. read more

The ladies are very professional and nice, they love to have conversations with you during your session, they'll ask how my day is going. I highly recommend them. I was really nervous about getting my eyebrows threaded since it's the first time I ever did anything with my brows. However the threading was done in about 2 minutes and didn't hurt that much! Ami took great care of me and helped me relax while getting them done. The only thing that kind of made me iffy was that when adding tip through payment in the card they got a $5 tip which is a lot for 2 minutes of threading... OK I can officially say my eyebrows are on fleek! It has been awhile since I have got my eyebrows threaded because I am always cautious that they will be too thin or the shape will be messed up. I have found my new spot! I now know why this place has almost all 5 star reviews. I never have to wait when I come in and the lady who threaded them knew exactly how to clean them up while maintaining the shape. Was with a friend on NYE looking for an open place to get their eyebrows done before a night out and was met with long lines and closed storefronts until Sugar Me came up on google. Impressed by the all 5 star Yelp reviews, we just had to give it a try. When we came by there was no line, and the staff was very friendly and straight to the point. After finishing quickly, my friend and I both realized that we had forgotten our wallets (dumb, I know). 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! I've been to a few places to get a Brazilian wax done. All are pretty good, but I have to admit that Sugar Me Waxing Studio provided me the best service and I have Shital to thank for that!!! When I first walked in, I was immediately greeted. The staff there was very kind and I felt so welcomed!! The studio is clean, which I appreciate a ton!! And it's very cute inside. I love their layout. After checking in, I was immediately taken back to a room. No wait at all with my appointment! The room I entered was Shital's space. She's very neat and organized. When we began, she began talking to me. About skin cares, careers, and etc. She gave me a lot of tip on how to better take care of my skin and spoke to me about the other services they provide (which all sounds great and I do want to come back for!). She made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. She's very friendly. And on top of that, she's excellent in what she does!! She's given me the cleanest Brazilian wax I ever experienced. A wonderful new studio that opened recently in Peachtree Corners. Located in the same plaza as Earth Fare in Peachtree Corners across from the Forum, I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new threading, sugaring, eyebrow tinting, or waxing place. Parking is easy to find and in a safe plaza. The are open late so you can even go after work like I did. The inside is simple with a reception desk, a small sitting area, and 2 chairs for facial threading/sugaring/waxing. Small and simple, but very clean and tidy. There may be more rooms in the back for further body waxing work, but I am not sure as I only got my eyebrows and lips done. You can book your appointment online or when you make your visit in person. They send you reminder appointment text/emails. They also send you a thank you followup email or text after which is a nice touch. The ladies working here at this location are extremely nice and talented. I loved how the lady doing my brows not only took her time to really do an excellent job on my brows and lip, but also took the time to converse with me. At previous places I have gone to, none of the ladies ever tried to initiate or talk with me.This made a huge difference for me. It makes the visit much more enjoyable. As for my brows....they now look presentable, sharp, and professional for work. I love the shape they have created for my Asian stick-straight eyebrows lol. See the picture I posted. I love the attention to detail. The lady who did my brows really took her time to do a beautiful job on my brows and on my lip. You can tell she wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. For example, for my lips I prefer waxing over threading. With waxing there is always some very small hairs that get missed, and she took the time to thread them out after. Most places wont be this considerate and detailed, but they are here :). Some tips: 1. I will say though the way they thread is for people used to threading, not for first timers. Maybe its the thread they use? Though I am sure they can accommodate that if you tell them its your first time :). 2. Also the chairs are hairstylist chairs so you might have to makeshift how you sit (no headrest)- just a heads up. I recommend visiting the website to see what else they offer that you might be interested in that I did not mention in my review. Financially they are slightly cheaper and more affordable than the competition across the street (Bare) and I do feel overall my experience here was better from quality and customer service. I must say best FACIAL ever. I tried this place twice for THREADING and BRAZILIAN SUGARING. They did amazing hair removal even eyebrow threading was free for first time client. I highly recommend this place for facial because product, music and technique they use is very effective and relaxing. I will definitely going back for my monthly facial. And they offered me hot oil treatment for my shoulder, neck, head and scalp which one was amazing. I came here to get sugared for the first time and won't be back. Firstly, I set an appointment the day before with a specific lady and who I chose was not who did the service. Secondly, I knew sugaring would be painful as it was my first time but the "sugar" was very hot on my sensitive skin, I told her this and she didn't seem to care. Then, I asked for a few seconds after each pull since it hurt so bad and was blown off again.
