Location: Located in the plaza right under the restaurant Sushi Machine on the first floor next to the liquor store. Clean - Nothing bothers me more than a dusty place. Especially in places like waxing and threading where your skin is exposed. This place is clean. Affordable- Only $8 for eyebrow threading (plus extra $1 if you pay by card). I found this place on Groupon. I was in search of a new and good place to get my eyebrows threaded because the place I usually go to messed them up terribly. I saw two very good reviews on Yelp for this place, so I decided to give it a try. I made an appointment on Saturday morning to have my eyebrows threaded and to get a pedicure. Usually salons are packed on Saturdays, but there was no one there except me and some "walk-ins". That's fine with me because I don't like crowded salons. I got my pedicure first by Payal and she did a very good job! Next I got my eyebrows threaded. She was very fast, but did an awesome job. She even asked me beforehand how I wanted them done! I'm not use to that because the other places I have been to just shape your brows however they want without asking what you prefer. She made sure to get them as symmetrical as possible. I've come here for years to get my eyebrows threaded, and have always been happy with the results. However, the most recent time that I visited, they told me that they're only doing wax at the moment, not threading. It's been almost a week since I've visited, and I can confidently say that my eyebrows look ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I usually have very full, thick brows. Now, my eyebrows are extremely thin, uneven, and have no shape to them. The lady removed way too much hair, leaving me with a huge amount of space in between my eyebrows. My left eyebrow has a bald spot in it. My right eyebrow is so thin that the tail is made up of a single line of hairs. I've always loved my eyebrows, but am now very insecure about them. I've been faithful to this place for years, but will not be revisiting ever again. read more

I started coming here as my go to place since moving from California. They just do it so fast and effortlessly. I honestly don't have any complaints besides the fact that there's only one lady at a time. So if there is a wait (HARDLY ANY) it would take a long time. 11 bucks for eyebrows and waxing, call it a steal! I am so happy that I found this place through Groupon. ATM, they have a Groupon deal for three eyebrow threading or waxing and reshaping treatments for $13, which is an amazing deal. It was very easy to book an appointment and even reschedule. I decided to get my eyebrows threaded on my first visit since threading is more precise. My eyebrows were very ugly before coming here. Payal did an amazing job cleaning them up. She didn't talk much, but her work speaks for itself. I will probably come back even after my Groupon sessions expire. read more

I suggest that no one use this salon or its services.Period. I have been a loyal customer for a couple of years now. Over the years I have recommended several friends and co-workers use them; however all that changed today due to rude behavior and discrimination. I told my roommate she should give them a whirl, talked up how great they were and how conveniently located (much closer than the hairdresser she usually goes to). So on my advice, she makes an appointment for a haircut. When she arrives, she is told that they won't cut her hair because she has psoriasis...because it might get on the comb. The same comb that the same woman put in her mouth a few minutes before. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? All Psoriasis is, is an excess of skin growth that can cause dry flaky skin...very similar to seborrhea. It isn't contagious at all. NOT CONTAGIOUS. It's the same as cutting someone with dandruff's hair. DANDRUFF! The girl she spoke with indicated they didn't want the psoriasis to get on the comb...shouldn't they be sanitizing all the hair equipment after every use anyway? I called to complain (I recommended this place to my best friend and they treated her very rudely). When I reached them, Payal was terse, unapologetic, and bordering on rude. This behavior is unacceptable and discriminatory. They are very lucky that it was my friend (who is far less confrontational than me), because if I had been treated this way I would be filing a discrimination lawsuit. read more

Really the ONLY place I ever go to get my eyebrows threaded! And looking at the sign in sheet, it looks like it's the only place multiple people ever go to get their eyebrows done at. Payal does such a PHENOMENAL job taking care of you. I've been to a few other salons before to get my eyebrows done and Payal has by far given the best service. She asks you how you want your eyebrows done (full or thin), asks you to hold your skin a certain way (to help ease the pain) and asks if you want any aloe, witch hazel, etc afterwards. Other places tend to just rush you out and don't even care what your eyebrows look! I took my coworker here to get her eyebrows waxed and she got the same great treatment. She has a keen attention to detail, a great memory, and a friendly nature and professional demeanor; moreover, she's fast and precise with a treatment that can be a bit uncomfortable. Prices are more than fair; less than $10 for lip and brow threading is great by my standards. Salon is clean and spacious. Some other Yelpers have mentioned that there's few frills; you may be asked if you want witch hazel or anything else after treatment. I went to this place at 10 am, which is their opening hour on Sundays. No one was there. I walked in again at 11:20 today for a threading service. There were two customers in the salon with one finishing up on her threading/waxing service and the other getting her hair colored. There was only one person who was servicing customers. After standing there for a while to get acknowledged by the owner/salon technician, she asked me if I was waiting to get something done?! Ok, the hype about Payal is legit. After a year of a wasted quest of trying to find a great eye brow waxing spot in or around Atlanta, I finally gave in to threading. My friend, who is equally, if not more picky than I am with her eyebrows!, recently went someplace that did such a botched up job that she ended up crying after it was over! She did some research after that nightmare experience and found 21 Instyle and asked if they could see her. She went because of the great reviews about Payal. Well, I saw her after that appointment and she was beaming and raving, and explained that though it is painful, Payal was very fast. Her eyebrows looked very good and knowing her pickiness, I was sold. Today I saw Payal and I told her about my aversion to threading (I feel like eyebrows look really good after threading but the pain is too bad to sit through!). She was very understanding and patient with me as I asked for a few breaks between. She was quick though so fortunately we did not have to take too many breaks. I really like this place (even though you can expect to wait quite a while since there is only 1 person working, unless u get lucky like me and arrive when she is alone or finishing up with someone) , it's close to my house so its convenient, there is plenty of parking, place looks clean , the lady that threads is friendly and does a good job but today she self tipped herself which I found strange. I am originally from NJ so I don't really know if that's a thing in the south but I thought it was awkward. I paid her and she didn't return my change she just walked away so I was unsure if I heard the total right and was getting ready to leave additional money for tip when something told me ask again. So I asked from across the room im sorry how much did u say it was so she repeaded the total and I said oh but I gave this much and she said okay ill be right there. It was really awkward . I did tip her (I tipped her last time too) but shouldnt I be the one to decide how much I want to tip. I don't know :/ was a bit of a turn off for me and embatessing as other customers were there as well . Don't know if I will be returning now. Update: decided to go back after contemplating a replied email regarding my last visit from the owner. Did not tell anyone who I was because really I just wanted the service and no special treatment just because of my previous edit review. AGAIN the service was $6 for eye brows, paid with a $20 and only got $12 back... Now I am no genius but I can do simple math and I know 20-6= $14 which means they self tipped $2 ... I gave an additional $2 making the tip tool just $2 shy of what it would cost me to return to the place for another eyebrow threading and called it a day. Certainly will never be returning. It's not the money it's the principal and tipping is a courtesy NOT an entitlement. The customer should be allowed to decide weather they want to tip or not or how much (I was a waitress for many years so I believe in tipping but I feel it's quite unethical to take it upon yourself to surcharge without advising the customer. read more

I was visiting Atlanta and wanted to find a place to get a good facial done. I looked online and found this place. I got my facial done by Payal, who is one of the owners there. She asked me about my skin and suggested I do the fruit facial. She was very gentle wtih her hand pressure on my face, addressed me by name at all times and did everything with a smile. I appreciated this so much especially after being at a few salons where you are treated just like another number. I also tried the scalp oil massage and haircut. I was very pleased with all services.
