I love this place. My go to. Aya is amazing. I came in with a picture but wasn't solid on that exact cut. It needed some tweaking based on my hair type. I have fine, thin hair. Told her I didn't want to go shorter than my shoulders and she was so considerate and started long and went shorter based on what looked good and my comfort ability with it. Booked a straight perm expecting my hair to be straight by the end of it, turns out she was never planning on making my hair straight like i asked and did not think to let me know until she was drying my hair at the end of the service when i questioned the results because my hair was in fact, not straight. Whe i asked she told me that she "does not do pin straight perms" and that she should've "told me at the beginning "At the end there were multiple spots all over my head of waves and bent spots. I was so glad to have found a good hair salon here in Atlanta. I read so many reviews trying to find the perfect one who'd be able to give me a very well blended layered cut!! First off, when calling to make an appointment they do answer the phone speaking Japanese. However once I said hello, she quickly transitioned to English and was able to get me an appointment the same day! So don't be scared when you called the wrong number ;) I arrived a little bit early to a cute little salon tucked into the same plaza as I luv pho on satellite. They're located right in the center of the plaza behind the Eiffel tower structure. When going in the first thing I definitely noticed that everything was so clean and welcoming. I had a couple photos that I showed her and described to her what I wanted. She took her time to work with me through figuring out how much to take off and really listening to what you wanted. I live in Midtown and drove up for this since the other salons that I had looked up seem to have very choppy haircuts. I asked for a slight v shape, long layers that are very well blended and natural looking and to also take away some weight since I have so much hair! I have to say that I have never had another haircut that has been so thoroughly and carefully done! After the cut, She did cut my hair shorter than I would liked, but I didn't mind that. She messed up on the hair color and they charged extremely high for coloring. I got my haircut here recently and had a great experience. They're located on the right hand side of the plaza (opposite direction of where I luv Pho is). I have hair length that goes over my chest and my haircut costed $47 with shampooing and styling. At first I was intimidated by this place because all the staff spoke to me in Japanese when I first walked in. But fear not, they do speak English! The staff are all very friendly. While I waited for my appointment, they offered me tea. Then, I had my hair shampooed by one of the staff. They are very considerate and put an eye cover over your eyes so you don't have to stare at the ceiling. She also gave me a dakimakura (large hugging pillow) to be comfortable while I got my hair washed. My hair stylist Yoshie was also very approachable.She took a lot of effort in evening out my layers and making sure I maintained the length I wanted. The total length of my service was about an hour.Throughout the haircut she maintained small talk so it wasn't super awkward. If you're used to getting cheap ($20) haircuts, this might seem a bit pricey, but they are very detailed in cutting and styling your hair. I recommend this place especially if you're Asian and can never find a stylist that knows how to cut/layer your hair! read more

She gave her professional opinions on my hair and was not scared to go for what I want, I'm asian with natural thick hair and it's hard unless I travel to Atlanta and after all the hair salons, Salon Lihga beats all! I wanted my hair to be at shoulder length and had nice layer (修饰脸型的锁骨发）but without doing any perm since I was short on time. It turns out great and I really like it. My bf also got his hair cut at Lihga, and it looks great too! He had never been to an Asian salon and was joking if he would "look Asian" afterwards. Well, he still looks like himself and just looks handsome. Lol. By the way, they are quite busy on weekend. Long overdue review. I'm so glad I found this place! I've had my hair in a lighter color for years and wanted to go back to wearing it dark. It's located in the shopping area in Duluth where I Luv Pho and I Luv Bowling are located. The salon is very clean and their stylists are dressed very nicely. Very hip yet polished. The staff here are extremely nice and professional, particularly, Mana. I enjoyed talking to her. My haircut was exactly how I wanted it to be. My hair color, although a bit too dark for my liking, was nice. My hair did look a lot healthier. It's been about 2 months and my hair is still dark! Which is awesome! Normally, the color fades after 5 washes. I'm very impressed. I would definitely go back. Maybe this time I'll have my hair color lighter again. read more

Aya did such a great job on my hair! Got it chemically straightened. No more frizz! I've hady hair straightened multiple times before, but this was the most perfect job ever. They are so detail-oriented! It took about 3.5 hours because my hair is long, but so worth it! I will for sure be back! Also, they have the doors open the whole time for air circulation. All the stylists are wearing masks and face shields. They even use ear covers when they put chemicals in your hair! 10/10 recommend! read more

Yoshie is one of the best haircut stylists I've her had. She made my dreams came true. I have wanted to have bangs for a very long time and could never get it right with any hair stylists and she took my Pinterest photos I brought for inspiration and turned it into reality. I am going to attach the Pinterest picture I had with me and my before and after. I was super nervous at first but walked in and was welcomed nicely. I sat down at a chair and Yoshie greeted me and discussed the hair style I wanted. After we discussed what cut we're doing, you go get your hair washed. The shampoo and conditioner is also great and includes a nice mini head massage while they shampoo... it was very relaxing. And then you go to your seat and Yoshie was super attentive to me even though there were a couple others in the salon. She never had me waiting too long at all. She is such a sweet person and so talented. I will definitely be back, this is my new gem! It took around 1-1.5 hours for the total process. During my visit in Atlanta, I decided to do something to my so-over due hair. My hair has no style after a long negligence. My hair is so damaged and thirsty for hydration and treatment. Yoshie knows right away what exactly needs to be done to my hair. She got rid of most of the damaged part of my hair followed by digital perm with nourishing hair treatment. Digital perm is not cheap yet a lot less damaging to hair and lasts longer. I came out with the style I wanted plus my hair feels so silky. Highly recommended! read more
