Make sure you book an appointment prior as there may be others getting their hair bleached or there may not be enough employees to do your hair! I booked an appointment for a cut and bleaching session to blonde two days prior to my appointment. I loved how there was a tablet for me to watch Netflix while I was having my hair done. Speaking for wedding hair this time: Had my hair styled and put into an elegant up-do by Stella herself. Trial was 50$ and she will experiment and do any hair you want. Highly recommend this hair salon if you want a trustworthy hair stylist who has much experience. She used to work in New York City and had a studio up there and has had over 25 years of experience. On my wedding day, Stella didn't rush despite having a busy morning. She prepared my mother's hair, my maid of honor's hair, and mine all in a row. It was 150$ total for the 3 of us. My hair was up in a romantic up do and stella even lent me pearl hair pins for my big day. She finished my hair in 1 hour and it stayed up all day to midnight. The look was elegant and complex and it survived the Atlanta humidity as my wedding day dragged on. I went in at 11 a.m. and hair lasted through midnight. read more

I wish I found this place sooner!! I just had one of the most amazing hair cuts by Stella herself! She was dealt with what I thought was an impossible task: an already short hair cut that was just a month and half old by someone else who botched it, I'm growing my blond roots out (I have natural black hair), and I wanted to keep my length because I want to grow out my hair by the end of this year. I'm so glad I took a chance on her! She did one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. She is very knowledgeable, taught me a few things like "texture" to "soften up the edges" and fixed my hair!! She was so fast. So with shampoo, style, and cut overall I was there maybe 25 mins. This costed $35. I am so delighted and blessed that I live close to this place. When I visited, I had not had a haircut in more than a year and a half. It got to the point where it got caught in my friend's armpit when I gave her a hug. That's when you know it's time. At the time I lived in Birmingham, and it was difficult to find a place that knows how to cut thick Asian hair. I planned a weekend trip to Atlanta where I would get a haircut [and eat lots of food]. I did not expect to get an appointment with Stella, the owner! I showed her pictures of what I was looking for in a new hairstyle, and she made it come to life. She also styled it so that when I tied up my hair, it still looked great! I don't style my hair on my own at all and tie it up often, so this was something I greatly appreciated. Today, I got a half magic straight perm/S curl digital perm. The total cost was $250 (I guess a little pricey, but they worked on my hair for 5 hours). Stella was very nice and easy to communicate with. Her assistant Ye-Eun was very nice and friendly, but I could tell that she doesn't have lots of experience at a hair salon. She applied perm chemical on my hair for 45 min (yes, I was a little worried that's why I counted). Thankfully, the curl came out nicely and Stella gave me a leave-in hair conditioner gift too. Very spacious and inviting. I have been here twice already and both times I have left satisfied with the results. The hairstylist that always takes care of me does a good job of listening to what you want and making sure she gets the job done the way you wanted. The prices are reasonable $20.00 for a man haircut. The service is great as well (both times I have been here). I was going home one day when I stopped by randomly to check out the new salon that opened right next to Roll and Pho/Talay Thai. Pro tip: come here before the month ends to get 50% of all hair services! It's their opening promotion! Despite not being Eastern Asian, I enjoy going to Korean salons because they can work well with South Asian hair- however, I usually feel slightly out of place due to language barriers, looks from the stylists or other customers, etc. But Stella's did nothing of the sort. Stella herself had great English and we were able to converse with little to no language barriers. The rest of her staff and even customers had an accepting elegance to them that made me feel 100% comfortable. Aside from a stellar environment, I felt like my hair was being colored by an experienced stylist (stella the owner) Though the color didn't turn out to be the burgundy I hoped (it rang way closer to my natural black hair with a tint of dark red), I still like the toned down look. I think if It was bleached, it would have come out fine. What I loved even more was the insanely amazing service. I was offered a drink when I came in, immediately provided with wifi, and given so much attention. The stylists that worked with me gave me plenty of time to relax but were also there any time I needed anything. In addition to color, I received a complimentary hair straightening which turned out to be beautiful. All this for $50 + tip. Though the salons prices are average for a Korean hair salon without the promotion, the excellence of service will definitely have me back. my friends mother just got a chemical burn from her hair appointment today and the hairstylist said that it was her mothers fault that her hair was sensitive which lead to her chemical burn. They didn't offer her a discount and made her pay full price after making her go through that. read more

This is my new favorite salon! My hair is badly damaged from dyeing with store bought products and is always tangled after showering so I wanted to chop off some of the damaged hair. My hair had a lot of static as well. I thought that was from my hair being damaged but turns out it was my shampoo. While Stella was cutting my hair, she gave me tips on washing and maintaining my hair using baking soda and she demonstrated it during the hair wash. After blow drying, all the static was gone! The hair cut turned out amazing too. I didn't expect the hair cut to look so great, exactly like the picture I showed Stella! She is very detailed and takes her time. After she was done, she showed me the different layers that she cut into my hair so I would have nice layers when I tie up my hair half way or all the way. It was perfect.
