I am an out of state college student and was just back for labor day weekend. Recently my tape in hair extensions were falling out and I just peeled them off my hair. Except there was leftover residue in my scalp. My ends were very split and dry as well so I went in for a haircut that I called about day of. It was so nice that they were able to take me on this very short weekend I was back. Two women I believe Rose and Paige worked for just about 3 hours getting glue out of my hair and I couldn't be more thankful for them. My appointment was a simple root color and cut with Adam--that turned into a higgledy-piggledy mess of cigarette breaks, self boasting, a family visit and SERIOUSLY burning my scalp and hair with products. I left a 3-hour appointment, completely frazzled with a chemically burned scalp, chard hair and a $400 tab! I called a couple of days later to speak with Adam, left a detailed message with the desk attendant, and have yet to hear back from him or the salon about the damage. 2nd visit My first person was out sick but they upgraded me to a master stylist for my color and handed me to another stylist for the cut and style. This had the potential (at 4th week fade with very visible gray roots) to be a bad experience... but I don't think Salon Acaro allows a bad experience. This is a top notch salon! All the staff go above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. I was greeted immediately and felt so welcome. I loved the beverages and music selection. My hair needed a great deal of work and color correction after 2 other salons failed doing my highlights. I had broken hair and horrible orange roots!
