DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES DONE BY LILLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUALITY SERVICE AND RESPECT!! LILLY IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I have been a patron for over 3 years and she consistently provides poor service that she tries to hide behind her humor. I stopped wasting my time and money on her services over a year ago and unfortunately decided to give her another chance since Jennifer no longer works there. LILLY IS CONSISTENTLY LATE FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS- On the two occasions she was scheduled to do my nails she was LATE!!!. The first incident she was 45 minutes late and Chow had to call her to see where she was, she was home! The most recent incident I came in and she was practicing for her talent show next week and had me wait through two songs for her to begin my nails!! LILLY PROVIDES POOR QUALITY SERVICE- I explained to Lilly that I wanted short almond shaped tips, but expressed I was okay with square . She guaranteed me that with her 30 years of experience she would be able to delivery on the image that I showed her that she said she done on another customer. I was serviced for 3.5 hrs filled with consistently complaints and Lilly's inability to identify the problem. I unfortunately had no choice but to accept her poor service and left unsatisfied with her work! Today I came in to get her to redo her work and she did not greet me, only complained that I was 11 minutes late , THE IRONY! She also expressed that next time I should know what I want. I explained that I did know what I wanted and that she should be honest with clients about the work she can deliver on. She expressed she could only do the almond shape on longer nails which is not what she told me on the day of the original service! If Lilly had been honest I would have gotten the square shape! Lilly told me the service today would take 3 hrs which I was not comfortable with offering again therefore I stated that and asked for my money back and a soak off. I could not trust that she would offer quality work after failing so miserably the first time! She proceeded to aggressively grab my hands and scream across the salon to the patrons and workers about her GREAT service, which I explained to her I could care less about what anyone in the salon thinks! These are my nails that I paid for and I don't like them! She told me she would only give me 50% of my money back, after I've been a witness to her giving another client a full refund. So regardless of the sign displayed saying no refunds, she is fully capable of choosing who she will make accommodations for. Let me note that the client she gave money back to was also Asian, as I'm an African American woman. I expressed her unprofessional behavior is exactly why I won't ever come back to her salon and why I started going to Jennifer for my nails. Getting others in the salon involved in my service is unacceptable and completely unprofessional !!She snatched the soak bowl away from me and went and got the phone threatening to call the police and only offering me 50% refund. I took the 50% refund and shared that I would be leaving a review! LILLY IS COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL! The 1 star I'm giving to chow and Jennifer for their consistent quality of work and professionalism! Unfortunately Jennifer no longer works there but after todays disrespect , I wouldn't return even if she did! I went with chewed off nails and left with a full set of natural looking and gorgeous French manicured sns nails at a more than reasonable price! Lily listened and did exactly what I wanted. The salon is owned and operated by a Vietnamese family, so there is a lot of conversation in their language on the side, but that does not diminish their skills. Have always had a wonderful experience here. The team is very professional and friendly. They all remember you too each time you visit. The pedicures are excellent. I usually at least get the Deluxe and highly recommend the Signature Pedi if you really need a good treatment. For COVID, they take everyone's temperature and require you to wash your hands before starting your service and you must wear a face mask while in the salon. All employees are wearing a mask. I found this place on yelp and decided to call Before going in given that I didn't have an appointment. The lady who picked up the phone stated that we go in as a walk in. When we arrived I saw that the place is very clean and they are practicing covid -19 prevention procedures such as checking your temperature and wearing face mask. I decided to get a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The salon was busy so two different workers did my manicure and pedicure. The guy that did my gel manicure rushed through everything. This is not the first time I've made an appointment for eyelashes installation and both sisters have made me wait for long periods of time... at least 40 minutes after my appointment time. It does no good to make an appointment here. They do not respect people's time or money. They apologize and apologize over and over again but continue to have piss poor management of their time and schedule. Today I made an appointment for 10:15 am and I arrive to have the staff tell me that she will arrive in about 20 minutes. This is just ridiculous! I won't be back! I'm giving three stars purely for Lily, she tried to rectify the situation, but I still had to pay for the worst acrylic fill I've ever had. We went here to treat ourselves on our 14th wedding anniversary. I believe it was "Frank" that destroyed my fingers. I asked he shorten my nails as much as they've grown, he went wayyyyyyyyyyyyy shorter. He ground out the sides of my nails not knowing how to do a stiletto shape. I have a blood blister on my thumb from the intense grinding and filing, my nail beds are sore and I won't be able to touch anything citrusy for at least a week while my fingers heal. "Frank" tried to put his mistakes on me saying I should have asked for a "re-shape" not to shorten them, thing is I've never had an issue with having nails for 3 years..... Lily had to add acrylic to rebuild my nail shape and re-cover the exposed nail beds on the sides of my fingers. My husband requested a gel manicure, they seemed totally aghast that a male wanted a manicure let alone color on his nails, that made us really uncomfortable. On top of that the tech did a terrible job at the gel, the finish is uneven and the paint job is messy. She also blew a bottle of lotion all over him and laughed about because she didn't open the nozzle . To top it off the tech threw him dirty looks the entire hour and a half Lily spent trying to correct my nails. We arrived at 2pm and finally able to leave at 4:30pm!!! My nails are still wayyyy too short, but I'll just have wait till they grow out at this point. We most likely won't be back, we went because it's the highest rated place in our area. But unfortunately I was literally sorely mistaken. I appreciate Lily's efforts, but my anniversary is still tainted from the experience. And we still paid for all of this!! The lady who did my nails did a very bad job at shaping and they charged 5$ for the shape, they were all uneven. I didn't go alone so when they were doing her pedicure they had gotten a polish with the right number but it was obviously the wrong color and then proceeded to tell my friend that they needed to apply multiple coats but even at 3 coats it was still very light compared to what the right polish would be. My friend has been getting her nails done for 21 years so she knows what is supposed to happen but the lady kept trying to convince her that she was incorrect even though they were the ones to mess up. Man, I really enjoyed this place. The owner Lily was especially friendly and Linda, the one who was working on my pedicure in my honest opinion was very detail oriented with the work she provided for me. This was my first time actually getting a pedicure and while getting it, I was getting sleepy. I guess after the major work was done, then came the oils, honey, oranges and limes to clean my feet as well as my legs with a major massage. That will start to put you to sleep. I popped for the Tropical package, I think that's the most expensive one that you can get with work going on for a solid hour as well as all of the smell good fragrances that it comes with. As I do know that most men won't get a pedicure to save their lives, I know why they don't. 1) Most men think that's a woman thing and would be girlish of them to get one and 2) Most men don't want to show them alligator scaly feet that some may have. However I will tell you this, If you have or had foot pain due to built up calluses, once you walk out you will feel 100% better. This is my first time going and this will be my spot every 3 weeks to have a pedicure done. There is some really good work done here. So I'm challenging all of the guys who may have hangups about a pedicure to go to this place and all of those hangups will change. Also, may I suggest the Tropical package? That one is $60. That's the one that I will stay with. I will DEFINITELY be back!! read more

I was there on Saturday by the following Saturday one nail was broken and the others peeling on a gel manicure. I thought they would polish the two nails peeling considering it was a gel polish and should have lasted at least two weeks. I started this review a few months again an never finished. Now I am back again with another review. On another visit 1 week after a fill in my nails were lifting and one was unbearable with pain. I waited for two hours to be seen, even though it was not so busy. They even took in a customer who came in after me. A four dollar nail fix is not worth Lily's time. The last thing to note is that whilst I was in pain the spent a bit of time in their language discussing me. I will never again go back. If you will be spending substantial money in the shop Lily will honey you to to from the beginning to the end of your visit. If you need her work corrected forget about it. read more

I love Dacula Nails & Spa! Lily is amazing! I always go to her for my nails and she never disappoints. She is a perfectionist and her work definitely shows it. They are not a chain nail salon, however they take care of their customers and every time I go in there the people who are there are always returning and loyal customers. The only complaint that I would have is that sometimes there is a long wait even with an appointment, but I guess when somebody comes in wanting an intricate design, it throws the schedule off. Lily is my regular, however her husband Darien has done my nails once before and he does a great job as well. The staff is nice and they are reasonably priced, especially for the work to be so good. The SNS never looks thick and is always perfectly polished. I tried the gel powder and not only did that look great as well, it lasted for almost 3 weeks. I really enjoyed my experience at Dacula Nails and Spa. I visited this location on 9/2/21. I was fortunate enough to have to the same nail tech for my hands and feet. She was extremely funny and talented. I have never felt so taken care of. I am already planning to return in the near future as it is so close to home and quality for the pricing they offer. I want to return for eyelash extension services and a facial on top of my nails and feet. If you are in the area (or even a little outside of it) I promise you it will be worth the visit. Well my search has ended because this place open. Karen is amazing on sns nails. She always gives me exactly what I ask for. The owner is so sweet and friendly. She always makes me and every one else feel like we are the most important customer. The pedicures are wonderful and come with trays full of heaven (see photos). The massage chairs are new and so comfortable and the prices are exactly as they should be for the exceptional services you get. Also the spa has a great soothing environment and is always so clean. This is a top-notch facility that was badly needed in our area! I decided to give it a try as it is super convenient to all of my errands. they took me in even though I was getting there near closing time. Lily and Loan both did a wonderful job in pampering me and did not rush at all. I chose the deluxe manicure and pedicure and enjoyed a nice paraffin treatment on my hands that left them super soft. Are usually get gel nails but chose regular polish this time and it lasted much longer than normal. This is my new favourite for nails for sure. It's very clean and they use all natural products. So I tried this place since every other nail salon in Dacula sucks. The first time I went was not that good, my cuticles bled and one of them is still very sore and scabbed over. The blood had burned into the polish from the UV light. Overall my gel manicure sucked. I went back yesterday and talked with Lily who fixed my nails and did SNS instead of gel. She actually did them right for once because so many places nearby (cough cough Noire) file your nails down paper thin so you have no choice but to keep the SNS on. I came in here at the end of the day. The place was busy and I wasn't serviced immediately. That was fine. I got to soak my polish off for 30 minutes until someone was able to start on me. Their approach to SNS nails are fine with me, however, my hands/nails are hurting and it's been four hours. I've never had this level of pain before at other salons. I might come back later because they're cheaper than other SNS deals at other salons but I'd need to come earlier in the day and would possibly need another tech.
