A different person provided the manicure and all she did was soak my nails in cold water, then she filed my nails, then painted them. No cuticle attention at all, no lotion, no hand massage. $20.00 charge for filing and painting my nails. When I asked about it, they said they would knock off 5.00 and explained they were busy. The customer service was awful. The most aggressive manicure of my life. All my fingers were burning because at least 6 of them were bleeding. The shape is sloppy, asked for almond and got oval. She put oil and lotion all over my hands and arms without whipping excess powder so it was gritty and disgusting. The whole entire time the women were speaking about me. He (Anthony) then started getting mad at ME!! for wanting my nails done right. All I was asking was for them to be uniformed and even! like seriously? Then... because he was upset... he didn't treat me nicely at all. Very rude. And when he was almost done with my nails rudely just ignored me and started working with someone else. We were greeted kindly, even though my Best-friend and I walked in mid-day with no appointment and got the deluxe collagen manicure and pedicures. I chose the mint and she chose the avocado. Both of our pedicure techs (Hill and Michelle) were so kind and amazing with the miracles they worked with the hot mess our feet were. I was so embarrassed I allowed my feet to get so bad but they were gracious and kind in how they addressed my concerns. Tee did my manicure. Not only did he have amazing skin, hair and nails himself, , but he maintained an interesting conversation and was so nice to us. My hands looked nearly transformed and I left feeling so happy. I just received the worse pedicure ever from Noire Nail Bar in Dacula. The girl doing it did not soak my feet and just started in cutting my nails and cuticles. She hurt me badly and when I screamed in pain, she kept on cutting until I pulled my foot away. she did not file my nails and did not add a top coat. It took a total of 10 minutes. I visited this location to get a mani and pedi this evening (6:25 pm on 10/11/23) I called earlier in the day and was told that they would be open until 8 pm. I arrived at 6:25 pm, signed in, and told the guy at the front that I wanted to get a gel mani and pedi. He replied to me verbatim, "no, we are closing early today because everyone is busy and wants to go home." I told him that their listed closing hour is at 8 pm and he nonchalantly responded by saying, "yes, but everyone wants to go home." As I was talking to him, two customers and then a separate third customer walked in after me. When they came in, he said "okay, someone will do it for you." As I sat down, I overheard the ladies behind me state they too did not have an appointment. The guy working on my manicure finished in 35 minutes and while we was doing my nails, I reminded him a few times about my pedicure so someone could get started as the manicure was being done and he kept telling me, "wait...wait, they are busy and we have two people after you." I would ask him anything and then he would immediately start a conversation in their language. When he finally finished, I inquired about the pedi and then he said, "sorry, you have to come back tomorrow." They lied about taking care of the services I came in for, disregarded their listed hours because 'everyone wanted to go home" and the final straw was that that the ladies who came after me were able to get both a mani and pedi. I brought my daughter there because another salon messed up her toenails so we needed to get them fixed. She has a nerve disorder that makes her shake slightly so I guess that Tony (the technician) decided that this was funny and proceeded to show all of the other technicians and they all laughed at her which embarrassed her deeply. She can not help that she has a disorder. People go to these salons to feel better about themselves and to be pampered which was very far from what happened to her. I am so saddened that they decided to poke fun at someone who already has self-esteem issues due to her disorder. We thought that we had found a good salon to go to but I guess we will have to keep looking. It's so sad that when my daughter came out instead of a smile I saw tears. Very disappointed. Every time I come to this establishment I leave with my nails looking great. The very next day it starts to peel off! I've come back on two occasions to have them corrected and it still peels off. Management would not refund me my money nor was concerned that I had to travel back twice. When quality products and well trained tech are in place this wouldn't happen. After going back and forth for 15 15 min, she walked away obviously upset that was asking for refund... of course, her language is being spoken in response to the situation. I told her I will be writing a review, she said... I don't care what you do! You can do whatever you want. This was my go-to salon for a while - not because it was great but mostly because it was decent and convenient. My last experience at this salon was unconscionable and I won't be returning, ever. I arrived around 6:15pm (close time at 8pm) with a pretty severe ripped natural nail under an acrylic nail. I told the host the issue I was having and she assured me they'd be able to resolve the issue. I waited for about 40 min for a tech, which was fine, I didn't have an appt. When the tech (Huang?) began, he literally started popping off my nails with another acrylic nail. No soak or anything. It was at uncomfortable at best on my other nails but then he proceeded to use this technique on my hurt nail. I shifted several time in pain and he dropped my hand and said, "do you want me to do your nails or not?" I said you're hurting me...and he was! So he literally got up and told me someone else would do my nails and walked away...wtf??? I couldn't decide if I wanted to cause a scene, or be calm - I chose calm. I asked another tech if anyone would help me - I was half way through and had to get my nails done before going to work the next day. Another tech told me she wouldn't have time to complete the service (it was about 7:15 and they closed at 8) so I said that's fine, please help me get the nail off. She was able to soak my nails off with no pain. I decided I still wanted to tip her and pulled out cash, but then she proceeded to ring me up for a soak off. Ma'am - my tech just walked out of my service! I asked if she expected me to pay for this service and she said she wasn't the manager and I needed to pay. Fine - gave her the money I planned to tip her. The next day, my husband went into the salon and explained what happened and they offered him 15% off. I don't want money off a service - I'm never coming back! I wanted an apology for being completely disrespected and inconvenienced. They can get pretty busy and they try to cater to all their guests but of course they cater to those with appointments first. He also made sure the SNS wasn't too thick like I asked, I'm a hairstylist and can't stand when the product is too thick on my nails, it makes it harder to work. Last nail salon I went to the tech cut up almost every finger while drilling and you can still see the small scabs all around my nails. Came here last Friday morning around 10am and they were already filing up. I came in for a pedi and was seated immediately. My technician was Tim and he was great! I got to sit in the spa chair and get a massage it was nice. Eventually the chair shut off and when I tried to set it back to where I had it, I couldn't figure it out. It turned back on butt mode and it hurt. Tim was very gentle and asked me how I wanted my nails trimmed and ensured I had my color. I picked #1 pedi because I was in a hurry for a wedding across town later that afternoon and was on a budget. I still got a sugar scrub, which was actually amazing!! And a quick hot towel rinse off. The sugar scrub smelled amazing and did not hurt. I'm really sensitive to scrubs, but this was perfect. The only con was that my nail polish might have been a little old. My tech had a hard time applying and by the end of my night had rubbed off on 2 nails. Tim said they had been open 8 months. I don't think their polish should already be thick and hard to use in that short of time if they had new polishes - I picked a light pink OPI color. I will be back! Great friendly service! This is one of two nail salon locations I go to get my nails and toes done, depending on what side of town I'm on. Comparable prices and really nicely set up. If you get a pedicure the massage chairs are amazing. The owner is so sweet and loves to help with the designs on the nails. Over the holidays the day I went in the owner was passing out little bottles of lotion as a gift, which I thought was super nice and thoughtful. Best pedicure I've ever had, BUT it's the typical run of the mill nail salon as far as customer service goes. First problem, there was no price list posted and I was given conflicting information regarding the pricing for services that I received. When I made an attempt to clarify, the nail tech couldn't get the numbers right, so I decided to decline the manicure/full set. The nail tech made a big commotion and called over other employees, everyone was pulling up price lists from their phones, and literally begging me to get the nail service. I was embarrassed & very uncomfortable. The second issue was that the nail tech came over mid pedicure while I was in the midst of DEEP sleep (easy for me since I'm 6 mths preggo) and decided to shake my arm and yell "wake up" before he caused this big scene. Last issue was the staff were constantly speaking their native language and lingering/lurking while doing so. I rarely have to deal with this issue at my usual nail salon, so this bugged me. It's rude and unprofessional and def a deal breaker for me. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this nail salon, nor would I recommend them. The staff were overbearing and poorly trained. Not to mention, choosing to not have a price list available is clearly a SCAM to over charge new customers. read more
