I moved in the last year to Georgia and still hadn't found a permanent nail salon. But I'm so glad I found Avanti nail salon that is fairly close to my home. Their pricing seemed fair compared to others around the Dacula area. The nail salon is nice and clean. I went on Friday morning without an appointment and was able to get helped. I got a basic manicure with light blue nail polish and in pedicure I got their mid range price one which was the one that came with hot stone massage which felt amazingggggg and must try in my view. My nail polish was not felt because I don't like to wear nail polish on a regular basis anymore. They had a ton of options to choose from. I'll definitely will be back - this nail salon is going to be my go to !!!! read more

Hello I wanted to say something about this Salon and owner Kasi. This nail shop and the owner Kasi started off being very welcoming, affordable and good customer service. Over the last 2 years the owner Kasi has become very defensive, rude and seems prejudice against people of color, one afternoon to get a nails removed, mind you Kasi has done my nails for the last 3+ years and as I was walking in I saw her run to the back of the nail shop. One of the other technicians asked if they could help me and asked for nail remover, and had to go to my car and take a call really quick, and was going back in. I guess Kasi thought I was gone and I went back in she was trying to to hide behind the counter so I would see her. I kindly said sai hi Kasi, how are you. She was shocked. These guys do great work! They have the right experience and a relaxing atmosphere. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because when I got my gel nail set they left a huge gap at the base of my nails. The polish has lasted about 3 weeks so far without issue. But I clear coated them again after 2 weeks to help them last longer. When I went in they asked me to pick a color and I picked a glitter purple. We waited about an hour for someone to call us inside to the chairs. They were all wearing masks and cleaning between customers. But when it was my turn they didn't clean under my nails or even rinse my feet. I had been wearing sandals and they were a bit dusty. I had to ask them or they would of just painted on top of it. Usually when you go for a manicure and pedicure they take a little more time for nail prep. They didn't do any of that here. I asked them to be gentle with my fingers but I feel that they were too rushed and skipped too much to get me out faster because they took too long to get started to begin with. They have enough people working there, just preoccupied doing other things I guess. They were chatting with each other and not too much with the customer. Not quite the experience I was hoping for. Not sure why I keep going back to this place. Every single time I've had a bad experience. This was the icing of the cake for me. I came in to just get my acrylics removed. I had already attempted to get them off at home & some were already off & I cut them short to make it easier on the person. I asked the guy at the front desk how much it would be, he said anywhere from 10 dollars up depending on length & I said ok perfect they are short so it shouldn't be more than 12. The lady who ended up helping me wasn't nice at all. She kept huffing & puffing & seemed annoyed that I was only getting them removed but no service was actually going to get done. She would roll her eyes & rushed getting the acrylics off of me & even burned a few of my finger nails with the machine that they use, she ended up charging me 15 dollars for 5 minutes of her time. I used to come here pre-COVID-19. Great salon! I made an appointment and they have a check in system via iPad as soon as you walk in. With sanitizer available. Masks are required (which I appreciate). There were 3 other people getting nail services in the salon when I cAme in. We were spread apart with plenty of social distance. All tools used were new and clean and you could also see the barbicide availability as well. They wiped down my pedicure seat before I sat down. Overall a good experience that felt safe. Today was my 2nd time at this salon and I won't be returning. I made an appointment for 2pm for four services. No one started on my daughter until 2:35. No one started on me until 2:50 for my pedicure, and then 3:15 for my nails. So I waited a whole hour to have my nails done when I made an appointment as I watched them take other people who arrived after me, before me. When I asked if they'd be willing to provide a discount for my long wait, I was told no, but they'd give me $10 off when I return. Well, I will not be returning. I still go to Avanti but have noticed my SNS starts cracking within a week. My two favorite techs have left too, so I've decided to take a break from that for a while. I recently received a much needed pedicure and was disappointed by my service outcome. The tech cut my toe nails with a plier and cut the big toe on a slant. When I asked her to fix it, she added more polish. I asked the manager to translate, but then the tech took the polish off and reapplied. I was told there was nothing they could do. The manager said something in her language and walked away. No apology, nor discount was offered. I replied to their internal survey, but decided to update my review. No and no. The atmosphere is nice and the massage during my pedicure was also good. That is where it stops. I got the ombré full set. I am new to the area so I figured I would take a chance based on the reviews. Not only did I ask in advance could they do the picture provided a very simple pale grey ombré but after assuring me he could, what I got was totally different. As if that was not bad enough my nails have humps and bumps from where he poorly applied the So I got the $60 deluxe pedicure. I kid you not my feet felt harder the next day than when I walked in. Hesitant to write this review cause I want to keep this place a secret. But I suppose it's my obligation as a yelper to share this oasis with the world. Located in Dacula across from Hebron, this place is quite a drive for me, but it might just be my new nail place. I visited on a Saturday. I called ahead because I figured it would be busy and they told me that they were 'relatively' busy at the moment but that they could get me in in about 45minutes. I came in around 1:15 and was greeted immediately. I checked in at the little kiosk and was led to a chair immediately. Kim introduced herself to me and offered me water. She was very nice and gave me the pedicure menu. I opted for the more luxurious one since they were running a special (worth it if you can swing it!). Seriously, I feel like I didn't just get my toes done but like I got my feet detailed. Kim was so gentle and took her time with everything. I've never had an ingrown toenail removed as painlessly as she did it. Even though it was a Saturday I didn't feel like I was being rushed at all! This is important to me since pedicures are a treat for me. Vincent did an awesome job. I should have known I had come to right place when he soaked off my previous manicure and tips (rather than scraping/peeling them off). Vincent was nice and took his time and my sns nails look so natural, I love them! On the way out the owner(?) took my payment and asked how everything went. He was so kind and called me by name. Then I'm told I lost my appointment because I was over 10mins late. I was not but it's cool I'll wait. Was very busy on a Saturday so wait was not as bad as I thought around 20mins. I wanted a gel mani/pedi with nail design with my mani. Long story short the lady doing my pedicure put the wrong color on, I had choosen light purple and got HOT pink. But I was talking about nail designs with the lady who was doing my mani so I didn't notice until she was already done with like 7 of my toes. But I was still like it's cool, I can rock hot pink no biggie. Then the nail lady says all the designs I brought in that I wanted they could not do.. ok I had like 5 designs they could choose from but again no biggie she assures me she can just do a design herself. So I literally said "ok I'll go with your experience so you can design" now this was after I had seen their Facebook pics with awesome designs Fast forward.. I paid $85 for a pedi with wrong color and nails that look like a toddler designed it.. I couldn't really complain at the time because I was going to be late for work and didn't have time to argue with them...not thrilled, but lesson learned. Walked in and was greeted immediately. I had dipped nails done and a Pedicure. Ana was really good at her job and she was careful and took her time. She listened and anytime you wanted something fixed she was happy to. I liked my nails I just wish more pink showed than chrome. I couldn't tell until she was done how much chrome was staying on my nails. But I'm still happy with it. Just the fact she took her time was really important. Elena did my pedicure and she also took her time and was gentle. My toes look great! The massage chair couldn't have been better. The receptionist who also greeted me, provided great hospitality and was very attentive. She made me a delicious latte. The whole place was very sanitary and clean. I highly recommend it. I came in for photo shoot nails. I was never greeted hello or with great customer service. They charge for everything little thing. I cried leaving here. I now have to visit another nail shop to fix this disaster. My nail tech had no patience and was very rude. I didn't like the rushed design she gave me and was charged for an even sloppier job. This was a horrible experience. I went for a mani/pedi. The tech clipped the bottom of my toe with the clippers. I screamed from the pain. It continued to bleed. I thought it had stopped. As she continued to work on my feet, she and the lady doing my hands stayed in conversation the whole time in Vietnamese. When I went to pay I wasn't offered a discount because of the injury. I noticed my toe was still bleeding and asked them to please wrap it and clean the blood off of my shoe. I think the Polish is substandard as it peeled off of my nails after 2 days. After the tears shed because it was so painful the owner wouldn't even speak with me and said they couldn't help take the other nails off because I was in pain... the pain they caused and refused to take responsibility for. I called in on a Sunday to ask what the wait time would be they said 15 mins. I walked in at 1:36 and no one touch my nails till 2:10. My nails were sitting in acetone for 30 mins!! Then I get someone I give her a design she tells me she can't do marble I ask for a smoke look to see if she could do that she says she can. I'm going to list the issue wrong. 1. She was very aggressive with my nail 2. She used her nails to remove and push back my cuticles. 3. She didn't WASH HER HANDS AFTER SHE WORKED ON ANOTHER CUSTOMER. 4. I told her to slow down because the work wasn't up to par and she was twisting my fingers 5. I generally like Avanti. Since summer 2019, it's been my go to nail salon. I've tried other salons closer to my job but Avanti was better. I would get SNS nails. My preference has always been one of the guys -- Vincent, Tony or Ken because they were fast and my hands didn't hurt afterwards. In latter visits, I suppose my nails started to decline and became very thin. The skin around my nails began to peel and tear. I'm taking a break from manicures until they become healthy again. In the many visits I've made to Avanti, I've never been treated like a regular. I think this is why I'm just giving them a 3/5. All in all, it's a good nail salon with great techs but just a place to go. When I move later this year, there isn't anything that'll probably drive me to come back afterwards. read more

well- have been here a few times but after today will not be back.. had a full set of SNS less than a week ago. already broke in the nail bed. even though I have had this happen before on SNS, other salons repair it for free. not to mention they do it in a way that saves you from pain during the procedure with mess netting etc. these people said if they can't put acetone on my finger because it will sting there is nothing they can do. they just turn you away in pain. So no guarantee on their work and they have no strategies to help a client in pain. she just said come back after it grows out. based on my nails and where the break is, that will be October. it is Augus. If I could give 0 stars I would! I've been coming here for about 3 years now, regularly. I've referred other friends to Avanti as well. The last time I was here I did gel nail and within 48 hours it started chipping off. I came back and they fixed it but the tech then told me that it's because my nails were too damaged. This is my regular salon. Year round I'm here about every 3 weeks. If he knew that the gel nail wasn't going to keep, why do it for me? He could have easily said to me, "Your nails are too damaged so I recommend SNS" but he didn't! The gel nail didn't even last 2 weeks after he "fixed" it. I got here tonight at 6:15 (they close at 7) and after I checked in, told them what I wanted and picked my color, the manager came out and told me they didn't have time for me tonight and then walked away. She didn't apologize or offer to book me an appointment. I understand being busy but she wasn't the least bit sorry. I am sorry that I ever referred them or did anything at all to support their business. Don't make the same mistake I did--loyal to them for nearly 3 years and they can't even have an honest conversation about what would be best for my nails or even book me an appointment. So disappointed- I really liked it here but after these last 2 experiences, I just can't support them anymore and you shouldn't either. read more
