I don't post reviews often, but I felt compelled to in this case. I made an appointment on Saturday (3/28) for a gel mani and gel pedi. The pedicure was great -- shout out to Amy. However, my manicure was done by who I believe was the manager or owner (she wasn't in uniform, so I'm not sure of her exact role), and the experience was a different story entirely. The service felt rushed -- likely because a few walk-ins came in during my appointment. The UV lamp kept shutting off and had to be restarted multiple times, and the cuticle prep was minimal at best. Before I even left, I noticed the sides of my nails weren't done evenly. I didn't say anything in the moment, and I'll own that -- but by Sunday, 3 nails were already lifting and 5 more had chips. That's 8 damaged nails less than 24 hours after leaving the salon. For context on what I did Sunday: I read. No cleaning, no labor, nothing that should have caused that kind of damage. I came back Monday (3/30) to get my nails corrected. When I arrived, they asked if I remembered my color -- I didn't off the top of my head, but I tracked it down. What bothered me more was that Helen made it clear she was doing me a favor by redoing all my nails. Eight nails were damaged from their service. That's not a favor -- that's a correction. On top of that, multiple employees kept asking what happened when they saw my nails, in a way that felt accusatory, as if I had done something to cause the damage myself. My nails were ultimately repaired, but I left feeling embarrassed and dismissed. That's not how a paying customer should feel after returning to fix a problem that wasn't their fault. read more

I've been going to Davinci for 5+ years. I get SNS and pedicure. The quality is amazing and the staff is so sweet! They can get very busy but always work to get you in. So many colors to choose from and the atmosphere is nice. They always ask me about my family and call me by name when I come in. They prefer cash for tips like most places these days due to credit cards fees but I feel like that's the norm. They are the best!! read more

I got my nails done here and within a week I had to go back 4 times due to 1. The gel polished chipped after the first day. 2. 3 nail broke on 3 different days due to the acrylic coming off. The workers seemed upset that I came back to get my nails fixed even though it was still within a week's time. First impression was wow, what a lovely salon! I had a man doing my pedicure. He did a very good job. Neck massage was wonderful and longer than I anticipated. Prices were fine. I hate, hate, hate the policy of any shop that won't let me put my tip on the charge card. Seriously, that is a major bummer. But don't worry, they have an instore ATM. Yes, you heard me right. ATM inside the salon. No wonder they don't let you put it on a card, they probably get a kick back from the ATM machine. So sorry my technician doesn't get a tip. The place itself was amazing. The inside was designed too look luxurious and unique compared to other places. There was a grand piano and marbled countertops. As soon as you enter and sit down, you're offered a complimentary drink and that's good n BUT. The nails. The technician could not speak english and it was really hard to communicate. She was very frustrated. I am honestly really picky with my nails and want them close to perfect, but it has hard to do so with the language barrier. The paint job was okay but the nail lengths were really uneven so when finished, I had asked to refile one side and she was really annoyed. The job in the end was good but the experience would've been better without an attitude. This is a service business but they did not talk to you or create little talk. This is the only nail salon I go to even though I have moved an hour away. They are really nice every time I come in but the main reason I keep coming is the quality of their work. Every time I come I ask for Don because he is very thorough and doesn't just rush to finish my nails. You can definitely tell he cares about the quality of work he does and I love that!!!!! I hate this place. They charged my card over three times and demanded more money because they said it was declined. I called My bank and they had placed $300 on hold. The nail lady said this happened the day before because they updated their system. I spoke with Nina the manager said they would wait for it to be released from my bank but she didn't. I came here on an early Thursday afternoon and it was almost empty. I was seated right away after selecting my nail colors and offered a drink (I got a water). The ladies were really friendly and nice. The place is nicely decorated (grand piano!) and clean. I had a gift certificate from my husband for a mani/pedi and ended up upgrading my manicure to a powder manicure which I had never had before (as I was going to a wedding out of town). The powder manicure was $55 but I'm going on week 2 with it and it still looks amazing! The manicurest (Ann I think her name was?) did a fantastic job with an ombré purple glitter manicure that I asked for- plus she gave me tips on 3 of my nails (no charge) so that the broken ones would be the same length as the rest. The pedicure was also really nice- and of course I smudged my toes as soon as I left and got in my car so I went back in and Sandy fixed them right away without any complaint or issue. I also had my eyebrows done- which was a normal experience compared to other nail salons that offer this. You need to remember to bring cash for the tip- but otherwise I had a great experience and would definitely return. What a great little place! I visited here with my sister while visiting her, and got a regular pedicure (with a paraffin wax add-on) and a gel polish change for $51! I thought this was an AMAZING deal since I basically got a manicure with my polish change -- no cuticle stuff, but my nails were clipped, filed, and shaped, and it took just as long as a regular manicure probably would have. The filing was a smidgen rough at one point, but my technician paid attention and quickly remedied The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the place is nicely set up, clean, and in general, I just had a really pleasant experience! Stopped by here for a second visit, thinking that the low quality and sub-par workmanship was a fluke during the first visit. Though the customer service is good, unfortunately, the poor quality work is very consistent, due to low skilled technicians with bad work ethic. On the first visit, within a week after receiving a fill-in by Shayla, I got a fungus under one of my nails. The acrylic was not applied securely around the nail bed and I also believe she used unclean tools. During the first visit, I tipped Shayla $7.00 for an acrylic fill-in, which runs about $18.00 depending on the salon. After the fill-in began lifting within seven days, I visited another salon to get an entirely new set of acrylic, which is when I noticed the fungus. Despite this, I thought I would give them another shot. During the second visit, I was assigned to Shayla again for a polish change. My polish change with one simple line placed across all nails was $14.00 and I tipped Shayla $7.00. She messed up the polish one of my nails as she was polishing them. I politely asked her to redo that particular nail, instead, she adds two more coats, which results in FIVE coats on one nail. I am extremely disappointed that Shayla did not have the respect, integrity, or work ethic to redo just that one nail, particularly after I tipped her 50%. Once again, I had to immediately visit another salon to get all the nails repolished due to poor quality workmanship. Won't be returning anytime soon. read more

I ordered the spa pedicure ( supposed to be 35 minuets) after waiting half an hour to even get the pedicure it lasted MAYBE 20 minutes & it honestly was painful. Got a gel mani and pedi last Wednesday, the pedicure was amazing! She did everything I asked and my toes looked and felt great! The manicure however was not so great. It chipped later that night and I went back the next day to have them fix which they did but he missed a huge chunk of the side of my nail. Now a week later 2 nails have completely chipped off. Gel manicures are supposed to last at least a full week maybe even more, didn't even make it that far. Definitely disappointed. read more

I love this place. I go fairly often 1-2 times/ month, sometimes with my husband. I enjoy the different "flavors" for pedicures although the they are a little pushy about paying for the expensive ones. They've always been so friendly. I love the extra neck massage with your pedicure. I love getting gel manicures there- they take their time so it lasts for 2+ weeks. I've been a server & know what it's like to work for tips, but it's tacky & unprofessional to ask for a tip or assume the amount.
