We have been coming here for years and the service has gotten worse each time. Today, I got the Jelly Perducure, all was fine until she painted my toes, half the polish is missing. Then she said thank you as if she was done. When I asked her about the hot stones, she said they dont come with this pedicure... when I asked to see the menu again, she tried to point to the more expensive one saying that one came with it. When I read out loud the jelly one, she sighed and said I'll do it now... she did it fast for maybe 30 seconds and that was it. Won't be back!!! read more

I went in for SNS with tip and a very basic pedicure. I provided the top photo as expectation for my nails. I said I wanted that exact length/shape. When she cut the tips and asked if length was ok, I said yes. She then started filing, I looked away, and ended up with shorter and pointy/almond nails. I told her I don't like pointy/almond, so she "softened" them... leaving them nothing like what I asked for AND with glue residue on my fingers AND my pinky nail filed down so much on the side that it was rubbed raw and stinging. The color was nice but extremely disappointed. When they asked what pedicure I wanted, I said a basic pedicure - color change, cut, and file. That's it. When I got to the front to pay, the charged me the full $30 for their pedicure on their sheet that includes a sugar scrub, hot towel, and massage.. Had I known, I would have done them myself or gotten those those extra things! That's a scam. I don't think it's fair to be charged for things that I did not receive. read more

I've been coming to Lavish for four years and it's unfortunate that prices have continued to climb but customer service and quality have diminished. There is more turn over in nail stylists and most of them rush to get you out the door after trying their hardest to upsell cuticle clips and waxing services. My most recent SNS was completed by Ana. Within three days two of my nails had cracked. Another three days and a nail on the other side had cracked. My work schedule was crazy so I couldn't get back down to the salon until the following weekend. When I showed up and asked for a repair, they wanted to know who did the manicure. I didn't know so they looked it up by service date and the last four digits on the credit card. Once they figured out who it was, they informed me Ana wasn't working but they could make me an appointment for later in the week. Since it's a 25 minute drive for me one way ;and honestly I didn't want her to do the repair) I declined the appointment. I asked for someone to do the repair today and said I would just pay for it. They told me it would be a 30 minute wait rather than just working me in. Clearly they want to hold their technicians accountable for sub-par work but they need to consider the customer experience when something like this happens. It shouldn't take two hours out of my weekend to get a few nails fixed. In the last four years I have only had to return once for a repair and the previous management did a much better job taking care of the situation then. I used to enthusiastically recommend this place - but my recent experience(s) has changed that. read more

Wasn't feeling this place from the start because I noticed right away they don't take American Express. The ambience was just not it either. It was not relaxing or inviting. It felt cold and empty--like they had just opened that week. Was not impressed with the nail color selection. Their focus seems to be on gel. I personally don't like to get gel on my toes. After sitting there for 8 mins I asked one of the techs if I could at least soak my toes while I waited for my tech to arrive and she said No. My toes are not visibly crusty so I need to soak for a bit before they get started so they can see what skin actually needs to be cut off. Once the tech finally arrived she hands me a menu. I don't need no menu. I'm not ordering food. I simply want a basic pedicure and I verbalized that but tell me why I got charged $30 for a basic pedicure. As suspected, she gave me no time to soak. Anyway, the color came out nice and I thought all was well then shortly after arriving home I noticed a smudge on my right big toe. So I paid $30+ for a crappy experience and smudgy polish. read more

Visiting the area and decided to stop by for the first time. I've had my share of bad nail experiences but thankfully this was not one of them! I got the SNS dip powder gel manicure done by Sophie and she was hands down amazing. She's super sweet and down to earth, but most importantly receptive to my requests without being annoyed anytime I said something. I love how she shaped my nails: skinny square (a big pet peeve of mine is when my nails are shaped unevenly or if the sides are left unfiled / wide looking). They turned out great. The entire experience was so pleasant. I loved the variety of SNS colors they offered (there was so many, it took me a while to choose but they didn't rush me). I was also offered a drink (water or coke products) during my appointment which is always nice to have a beverage. Prices were fair, this SNS dip powder manicure was $42. All technicians were spaced out and wearing masks as well, so I felt pretty comfortable being there during this pandemic. Can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the area. So, the jury is still out if I will return or not. Today was my first time there, and I walked in around noon wanting SNS nails and manicure and a toe polish change. My technician was Lisa, she was very quiet and polite. I asked for 3 different colors on my nails and they look pretty good. But there were issues, first asked for her to file the length down a bit and she did not. I don't know if she didn't hear me or didn't understand. I also asked her to file the thickness down, they are too thick and she said no because they would break. This isn't my first time getting SNS, and this is probably the thickest I've had. The pinkie fingers are the worst. She also never filed my bales to shape until the SNS was put on, which I find weird. I've never had anyone do that, but it could be where she could justify the extra charges she piled on. This made her job harder, because I had just had my nails done two weeks prior and their shape was still decent. The manicure consisted of her soaking my nails in warm water, clipping the cuticles, and putting lotion on my arm(which still had all of the SNS powder on it because she had not told me to wash my hands yet and made it very gritty) and massaging each hand and arm for less than one minute each. I asked for my eyebrows waxed and from what I can tell, she did a good job on that. Next was the toe polish change. Usually the techs ask you if you want them clipped or filed. She didn't ask me anything, and started barely filing them. I asked her to clip or file them down because I liked them short and she didn't say anything and did not do it. She did clip a futile here or there around my big toe, which I appreciated. That is when she finished the Manicure with the gritty lotion massage and then told me to go wash my hands????? After the massage?? It made no sense to me. Anyway, I was trying to still be appreciative when I received the bill and paid. At first I did not pay attention to the price until I figured in the 20% tip. After I paid I asked for a price breakdown because I was charged $82 and it didn't add up. Eyebrow wax $10 Toe polish change $10 SNS plus manicure $48+ That adds to $68 not $82 When I asked for the breakdown, the receptionist returned with the additional price breakdown, which I argued to no help: $5 for design ( I've never paid more for just more colors) $5 for nail style/shape (Almond? It was already almond all she did was touch it up) $4 for length (?? I asked for them to be shorter and she didn't do anything. They are my natural nails, what did she do to the length???) So I told the reception this and she was like, we'll that's what she said.... Since I had already paid I just walked out, but IF I return, and that is HIGHLY doubtful, I would never use Lisa again. I hate to be that way, but she hurt herself with the additional $14 fees for BS. She got that and more in her tip. I should have never left her that. read more

I don't mind 10 minutes or so but a delay of over 30 minutes with an appointment is not acceptable. DO NIT GO HERE!!!! First off, i got a full acrylic set with a SIMPLE design. The nails were SO THICK and packed on that my nail shape was practically a bubble (i wanted almond shaped). Second, they booked my appointment wrong. Lastly, when i went back to voice my concerns the workers were VERY rude (except the receptionist) and tried to gaslight me into thinking i was the one in the wrong, and then did not honor my request for a partial refund after agreeing to it over the phone. They did give me some money back but i paid $220 in total (for me and my boyfriend) and only got $50 back. BUT i do recommend Frenchies Modern Nail Care (3 min up to road)... Masks are required, although a lot of employees wore their masks haphazardly. When I first sat down, every single chair was filled, as well as the entire waiting area. The place itself is not clean. I haven't had a pedicure in 2+ years so my tootsies looked like goblins, so any salon that I would've gone to would've transformed them with massive improvement. The interior of Lavish is cozy, soothing and clean, with the exception of one creepy-crawling-critter that scampered across the salon menu that I was perusing. My toes look great, but my calves have been insanely itchy, even a day later, from whatever goopy lotion was rubbed on them and then wrapped in warm towels, but that could just be my skin and not a normal reaction for other folks. The scalp and neck massage was unnecessary and not relaxing. The chairs for waiting filled up considerably later in the afternoon so they've got a good following of clients, and all of the staff came across as friendly and skilled. If I go back, it'll be for a basic pedicure, no add-ons. read more

My initial visit was pleasant. Everyone was really friendly. I was satisfied with my nails even though the designs weren't perfect and one of the acrylic nails that was applied to my thumb wasn't a fit. You can see my natural nails on the side. After three days of getting my nails done, one already chipped. I get the SNS so that it lasts three weeks. So I was shocked when it already chipped. I went back to get it fixed and brought in my sisters to get their nails done too. Their service and demeanor completely changed towards me because they had to fix my chip. They were rude to my sisters and didn't even know how to do my sister's nails based on the photo she provided. If they didn't know how to do it, they should've said they couldn't do the ombré. My sister left with red finger tips from the red sns powder. It was upsetting since it was her birthday. During picking my colors, I asked for suggestions and they kept picking colors that weren't even close to my request. The man who did my nails was rough with bending fingers/moving my hand.
