However, the morning of my appointment, their power went out and because I was travelling the next day, I went to Foxy Nails for a gel manicure and pedicure. I wish I had names of the techs. I started getting worried when the tech was having trouble removing the gel polish I had on. Ultimately, she wound up applying gel on an uneven surface. I didn't notice until I was in daylight. The best nails salon in town. They just remodel the shop with everything new. I like the new look . Everything look so clean and fancy. The new owner is so nice. Customer service is great . They offer drinks and that is a plus. They price are very reasonable and not too expensive compared to other places around. I recommended everyone to try them out. read more

Since I have to post my review with a star I give them a 1. However I want to give them zero stars. I went there in March for a fill in on a set they put on my nails on Valentine's days and a pedicure and I ended up with a nail infection and lost my whole nail and had to have my nail removed you couldn't pay me to come back. I'm so traumatized I've been getting my nails done for 16 year since I was In high school I've never gotten an infection. Do not come here. Staff was nice and salon was very clean but the quality of my nails was awful. They were dipped and were too thin. It's only been a week and they are cracked and the topcoat is chipping. Do not go here!! I rarely ever leave bad reviews but this place is awful!! I had a horrible experience. I should have left at my first sign of non professionalism. It started with getting my toes done with my two daughters. As I was sitting there trying to enjoy my very uncomfortable pedicure the lady next to me was having her nails and toes done. The nails tech was clipping her nails. The nail bits where flying all over the place and two hit me. When I freaked out because of being grossed out they stopped and waiting to do her nails when her pedi was complete. Which is the correct way to do it. By law. The nail tech who was doing my toes jabbed me twice from turning her head to talk in Vietnamese to other co-workers. Once with a file and the second time with the drill. It didn't hurt but it was clear she could care less about what she was doing. I asked her to cut the pedicure short. It was ridiculously awful. As she's finishing my 7 year old gets up from the child's pedicure chair and asks to use the restroom. I said okay as the restroom was maybe 10/15 feet away and clear view. She went to the restroom, but someone was in there. I watched her lean against the wall and wait. She went in and then came right out. She didn't use the restroom. She was waddling back to me walking odd. I asked her why she was walking funny. She said "mommy there's something wet on me!" She turned around and from the back of her legs, her back, and all in her hair was beige paint. I wasn't mad but I was shocked. I said "how did you get paint all over you??" I was puzzled. She said I think there was paint on the wall. Right when she said that a lady by the name of Dara who claims to be an owner yells "NO NO NO NO!!!! No wet paint!!! Your daughter sprayed chemicals all over the bathroom and rolled in it!!!!!" Again... puzzled I looked at her and said "no it's paint and she went into the restroom for a second. Chemicals?! She's 7 years old she knows better and this is paint not chemicals.... and more importantly if you have chemicals in reach of a child and wet paint you are breaking several state board codes!" She got louder and insisted on it being chemicals that she "rolled" in. Her fellow employees tried to calm her down. The lady who was washing my feet off so I could get up even told her "its paint look". This owner person yelled at her and told her to shut up and no! Again I wasn't mad. I was confused why she had paint all over her. The issue escalated into a screaming match. She put her hands on my daughter to turn her around. I recorded her yelling at me making my girls cry as I was trying to leave. When I told her to move and dialed the cops she stormed out and left. I put my girls in the car and the cops came out. The cop was appalled by the story they told when I had most of it recorded and pictured to prove what had happened. I have a police report. I have recordings. I am a retired cosmetologist so I know the laws and regulations. Not only will I share on all social media that these people are NOT clean, not professional, no boundaries, no respect for customers personal space but think it's okay to accuse a child of doing something they didn't and lay a hand on a child in anyway is absurd. Not one time did any of them offer a wet towel to clean her... a sorry... comped service NOTHING!!!! I WILL be taking them to smalls claims to court for a few things. I have already filed a complaint with Georgia State Board Of Cosmetology. There are way too many salons for this one to operate with zero professionalism. I am a pedicure junkie! In need of a little pick me up, I stopped in Foxy Nails for a quick pedicure. I was greeted by an overly friendly man that hugged me and walked me over to the wall of polish. I grabbed white and he joked that I was too plain. I am glad my choice of polish comes off that way, sir, but you are sorely mistaken! I chose the 30 minute pedicure, pressed start on the massage chair remote, sunk in to the leather chair and began my typical pedicure zone out. Clean establishment, comfortable pedicure chairs and all the tools were new-all great attributes but the nail tech didn't talk or respond when I attempted small talk or requested things. I'm not expecting you to quote Shakespeare but if I say "please don't do that" I need for you not to do that! Before you cut my nails, ask how short I want them. She cut mine so short, just above the quick, so when she dug under the nails with the file I almost climbed the walls! My nails are so short it hurts to wear a heel. I get it...poor little white girl got a bad pedicure, cry me a river-yes, cry with this girl!! Not only are my nails tiny stubs but after she did one coat of polish, the greeter guy announced that she'd be right back and she walked away, literally leaving the building and driving away. After 15 minutes I began looking around, attempting to get another nail techs attention. I asked them to please finish but no one responded. After 25 minutes I grabbed the top clear coat bottle and began to paint my own toes, only then did someone come over to me. As I'm walking out the door, I pass the initial nail tech I started with, carrying in 4 cups from Starbucks. "Have a good day!" She said in proper English. Touché, Foxy Nails, touché! I was recommended to come here by a friend who seemed to really enjoy it here. I came to get a pedicure and I was happy to see it was only $20. However, the service was mediocre. The only things I did like was that it was cleaner than other places I've gone to. I pretty much felt like I was rushed in and out. Other customers were upset because they weren't being helped. One employee kept standing up every few minutes to answer the telephone. The lady helping me was being rushed to finish my pedicure and I over heard another employee say she works slow... Which was unprofessional. You'd think with so many people working they would be more attentive and take their time, but that wasn't the case. I might come back and try it again on a less busy day, but overall I wasn't too impressed. I am reviewing again just to say that I love my manicurist Lu. She is so sweet and spends a great deal of time on you. She is a perfectionist and does a terrific job. Each pedi chair has a massage option to use. And the best part is their hygiene with the use of the plastic inside each foot bath. You can make an appointment but not needed unless you want someone in particular. I live in Suwanee and have tried two places in that area and left with uneven nails and bleeding cuticles. Not worth it. Though I don't work in the Buford area anymore, I will make this drive. Lu is worth it! read more

I started with Mia, (moved) then Dustin (moved on) and now Amy is my technician. Yes, I have tried other locations in a pinch, a broken nail, etc...and can't wait to get back to Amy. OK so what makes them special? They listen. I like my nails thin. I want my nails to look natural, not fake. Every technician I had and have, listened and gave me exactly what I asked. Length? NEVER has a nail been cut too short. They don't cut without asking to cut and then proceed ever so gingerly with gradual cuts until the client says stop. The management has always been nothing short of delightful. As a patron, I want to know my patronage is appreciated and recognize me as YOUR customer. The management at Foxy Nails II has always greeted me by name...always thanked me for my business and ensured I was pleased before I exit the door. My husband had made the appointment for me as part of my surprise anniversary spa day on the 27th of February and service was prompt. Definitely recommend making appointments on busy days like Saturday mornings!! Kathy has been doing my nails for these last 3 visits and I am definitely not disappointed. I ask questions regarding styles and options- never fails to give a perfect suggestion and is very talented. My husband gets his pedicure done along with me when I go and he loves it! He usually does the green tea pedicure or citrus and loves how well they massage his feet and actually take the time to work on his calluses, toes, and aching feet. No when it comes to nails, yes they are alright. But if you're looking to get eyelash extensions I would seriously advise you to look further because I had them done here. I kept them on for about 3-4 weeks, and when they took them off.... my real ones came off with it. Last time I checked that's not supposed to happen. I have been going here for almost a year and a half. I just went today to get my nails done before vacation! I wanted a light green on my fingernails and toenails . I made it very clear to the woman several times that I wanted both my nails and toes the same color. She let me know it would be no problem. When it was time to put the same color green on my toes as my fingernails they said they could not do it because they put a powder color on my fingernails. They let me know I would need to choose a regular nail color for my toes ... none of the colors matched. I didn't want different color greens I wanted it all to be the same color . The lady doing my toes got a attitude with me and started throwing her hands up pretty much saying "there is nothing I can do" Keep in mind I have been here several times before and never had any problems . The lady doing my toes never asked my what kind of pedicure I wanted and didn't even really do a proper pedicure as far as a massage along with doing the toes. I can honestly say even after the amount of times I have been here I will no longer go here again. I never got a sorry. The lady doing my toes was EXTREMELY rude . After the way I was treated I will no longer go here & all of my friends that go here will be told not to either. I was going to use this nail salon for my wedding nails . Now I will not . I went to get my long acrylic nails off for my job. I said I just wanted color on my natural nails and they suggested I do the powder so I agreed. As she was doing them they were looking really thick and I was saying I need them to look natural for work so I didn't want them to look like I had 100 layers on top of my nails. She kept insisting that they would look better in the end because she wasn't done. I kept waiting and she was still putting more and more layers of the powder. Even when she was finished she said they were supposed to be thick and when I "came back next time" she would do them thinner like I originally requested. I understand that my natural nails were thin but I don't think the amount of layers to achieve the undesirable thickness was necessary. Plus all 10 of my nails aren't even the same shape. Anyhow, I have only had positive experiences. The service is fine, waiting time is minimal and my nails always look great. I get French manicures with gel and pedicures. I am particular about my pedicures and the tech was patient and accommodating. The nail techs made friendly conversation that I actually enjoyed. I noticed some odd complaints along with great reviews, one thing I learned, you can NEVER PLEASE EVERYONE ALL THE TIME...no one is perfect all the time..they listen, they will even wait for me after work to accommodate my schedule, these are VERY HARD working people, relax, explain what you want.. and accept sometimes you CAN'T HAVE WHAT YOU WANT.. maybe your nails are not healthy, trust them, they are professionals! Rather then trying to destroy their business, help them to understand the problem you are having and work to resolve it..
