But she messed up on my thumb and I told her but she looked at me very angry and didn't do anything about it, she did very thick acrylic and was drilling it off for an hour and thirty minutes, polish is chipping and she missed many spots when putting on the clear top coat after finishing, when taking off the access white paint to fix the French tips (that look horrible btw) she did a sloppy job and there are white lines from the brush, crooked shaping, AND THESE SHORT BASIC NAILS FOR MY BIRTHDAY THAT ARE HORRIBLE COSTED 85$ DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH CRAPPY WORK! read more

First impressions didn't wow me. I walked in and there was a dirty towel on the ground- it stayed there for more than a few minutes with a few of the employees stepping over it and ignoring it in my short wait to be seated. I asked for a pedicure but was not informed of options or pricing before seating (pricing is not in website). I had a very short wait time even without an appointment. My pedicure was speedy and efficient but I would have liked more time spent on the massage portion. A few times, workers crowed around my nail tech and engaged in lengthy conversations, reaching over me and playing in her hair which made it a bit difficult to relax during what should be a relaxing service. I selected a few different colors to get an ombré look and it turned out well! Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the price ($28) and execution (even though I didn't know what I'd be paying until I got back to the counter) but the experience wasn't top notch. 1st pro nails is my favorite nail salon. The owner chi Uyen is very lovely and kind. Also, c Trang, c Thao (Trish), Mimi and Ivy are really good nail technicians. They also takes care of their customers. I always do my SNSnails w Trish & Mimi dazzling stuffs for me today. Trish is the best, she really takes time and does a great job w my nails. I used to bite nail when I got stress but not anymore. First Pro Nail and the staffs really taking time to do the work and never complain about anything even sometimes there are some tough customers. Very disappointed. I haven't been out since the beginning of covid and was well protected - 2 masks, goggles and a face shield - due to an auto-immune disease. I read their sign where it says "must wear a mask". I was there for a mani/pedi - no polish - just needed cuticles and clean up. I could tell immediately that the tech doing my pedicure was not putting a lot of effort into it. I made sure to tell her that it had been a while and I really wanted cuticles and dead skin worked on, especially since I didn't need polish. She just didn't do a good job. Then I noticed a client without a mask on. I was ready to leave. I mentioned it to the tech and she said that they "ask" people to wear a mask. I know that getting into a confrontation is not worth it, but this is a private business and that's not what their sign said. They asked the lady to put on her mask and, she graciously did. However, one of their employees kept walking around with her mask down and then up only up to her mouth. This went on the whole time I was there. Manicure left a lot to be desired. Rough edges and I had to clean up cuticles myself when I got home. The tools used for the mani were in a sterile pack but not the ones for the pedi. I saw a client leave and no measure to clean chair was taken. I know I am very aware due to my condition and covid, but some of these measures should be taken regardless. Visited for the first time yesterday! The customer service I received over the phone was just as great as the introduction I received when I walked in the door. I received amazing and undivided attention to my damaged gel nails by Tracy and Trisha did an incredible job on my neglected toes with a fabulous deluxe pedicure. Even though my service extended beyond closing time, these two ladies and I closed the shop together 30 minutes late. Don't go here if you value cleanliness. This place was busy and for the price I can understand why. $10 mani & $20 pedi. ($30 for mani/pedi; no price break.) But the woman who did my toes didn't even pretend to clean her tools! She pulled her file from her jacket pocket! Supposedly they keep their tools in a cupboard with a blue light but no one sprayed any of their tools. She did a good job and was sweet but I won't return. I visited this location shortly after they opened one morning. I must say I was very surprised how filthy this establishment looked. Typically, I thought they are supposed to clean before leaving each night, but it was apparent they haven't cleaned in a while. I would think they would be more careful and health conscience especially with the Covid 19 pandemic. Unfortunately, they are very careless and don't value their clients at all, or should I say certain clients. They used heated stones on me and cleaned the stones in my dirty foot water. Not to mention I recorded them saying ugly things about me and the other person in the shop. I recorded everything and translated it once I got home. I guess she did not appreciate me questioning her if they cleaned the seats and the equipment after each use. I am contacting the health department to make them aware and I am sending them a copy of the recording. No one deserves to spend their hard earn money with companies that do not value their clients and their clients health. read more
