The nail techs are friendly, hard-working, quick, accurate, and fun, and they work to make sure you not only get what you ask for, but that it's done well and with attention and care. They will also do your mani/pedi simultaneously, which saves on time. I am currently wearing a knee brace, and they were careful and gentle when working with that leg/foot. You can see what I asked for in the pic on the right and what I got in the other two pics (my runner's feet aren't the prettiest, but the pedi is !) Really close (polish choice was mine, so it's a little off from the pic), which is a first for me! I will never ever ever return to this nail salon. This first time I came to their location, they sat me in a chair immediately but never started on my toes. I waited for about 10mins before I finally left. THEN as I'm TRYING to leave, this woman grabbed my arm trying to force me to stay, telling me someone would come start with me. It didn't matter how many times I told her it was okay, they're busy, I can come back another day, she still kept her hands on my arms squeezing them. I managed to leave. I deceived to give them another try. Everything was great until it was time to pay. I chose a basic pedicure which is $35 on the price menu, I got French tip. Tell me why, as she's checking me out, my total is suddenly $50!!!!!! I told her I think she made a mistake and she said no. Do you know these people charged me to take off my nail polish and told me it was because I had gel nail polish when i told them atleast 5 different occasions it was regular polish. The lady who originally started on my toes told her the same thing, it was regular polish YET she still tried to insist I had gel polish. I had to get back to work so I told them I'd pay now and come back later since I work across the street. She did not care at all that I said that bc she started painting my toes. She asked if I wanted a hot towel, I told her no. She said it won't add time bc she will wrap the towel around my legs and do my toes at the same time, I said it's okay but she said it won't affect the time so I gave in and said yes. Do you know they charged me for all those services and not ONCE told me anything would be an additional fee. It took the customers in the nail salon to stand up for me instead of her staff. I told her not once did they say it would cost extra for French tip. Not once did they said it would cost extra to wrap a .3 second warm towel around my leg NOR did I come in with gel polish. She really tried to argue me down and I hate that. I was ready to call the police because excuse me? The only reason I didn't is because a customer said she would pay the difference and even then, the staff started trying to yell at her and tell her she couldn't pay for my nails. Very sweet of the customer but understand that wasn't the issue. They try to get over on people so bad. Why in the world would I need or want all those extra services done in my freaking lunch break. Lesson: If you find what you need do not go looking elsewhere. Go were staff understands you and follow your instinct. Nice people but being nice does not get the job done right. I think that I will have to find a place were English is the first language. My request went into deaf ears. I went elsewhere were they applied the SNS with a brush and the outcome was amazing, but it is too far for me, so I decided to stop here. Never again! I wanted a fill, not a complete removal, no acetone and not a lot of sanding of the growth. The guy sanded until what was they needed to be removed, another guy came after seeing my frustration and he did a fill but acrylic, could not remember the color I selected (he removed the color chart from me with little attention to my choice, and AN HOUR LATER WHO WILL REMEMBER). I ended up spending two hours, bruised cuticles and not natural looking nails (as a guy, I need them thin) and the bottom of nail was a mess. Did I mention I paid $60 dollars? read more

My first experience was amazing. I received a manicure and pedicure by Jenny and Lynn. I tipped extremely well. Today, 11/13/24 was my SECOND visit and I will NOT return. I visited the salon for a manicure only service around 3:00 pm. It was empty but I had to wait to be serviced because the young lady was talking. When it was time to be serviced, she tried to upsell me on services. I politely declined. She left nail polish on my skin, when I asked her to remove the nail polish, she was annoyed and told me it'll wash off when I get home. Wash off? Why couldn't I wash my hands at the salon? I would not accept that answer and her attitude thereafter was piss poor. Upon checkout, I was charged $30.00 for a REGULAR manicure. I don't mind paying for a quality service but $30.00 for a regular manicure with subpar service is insane. At any rate, I asked her for her name. She seemed confused and made up the name Tina. When I asked if she owned the salon, she said no but couldn't think of the owners name. Really???? Well Kelly, if you are in fact the owner of VNails, you've lost a customer because "Tina" doesn't understand customer service from any standpoint. This was my first time going to this nail salon. I was in the area because I had a hair appointment around the corner. I stepped in they asked me how they could help me, the usual. I grabbed my color and I took my seat. I sat down and one lady stared my pedicure(just took the polish off) then my nail tech came in. Her name is Mandy, we chatted a bit and then she got started. She said that she was going to do the deluxe pedicure and I said ok. OMG!!!! It was the best pedicure I have ever had. I was in total relaxation mode when I left. They rub your feet and legs with exfoliating scrub for what felt like eternity. Then they add a moisturizer cream to your legs and wrap them with hot towels while they polish the toes. Then they rubbed my legs with aloe Vera oil. Total bliss!!!!Plus!!!! I had the massage chair going. OMG!!!! Awesome!!!! read more

The breakdown: I've been here once and would not come again. Very nice staff but horrible job on my nails. Pretty cheap-average prices for services. I went to V nails once when I had to get my nails done for graduation and my normal salon- Tina's- was completely full- never going back. I asked for a basic manicure with black polish with silver glitter on my ring finger. I could you not when I say she applied 4 layers of black polish and 6 layers of the gel polish. Additionally, the black polish was put on messily and I had to clean it myself with a Q tip when I got home! My nails took over 12 hours to dry (yep, 12 hours) because of the many layers put on them. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they're staff was really quite sweet and tried to fix what I asked them to. Plus, my sisters mani turned out pretty nice. Tip- they have this one brand of nail polish they use that has extra shine that costs $3 extra but they don't tell you that until after you get the mani done. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would! I was serviced at the salon on Nov 2, 2020. I received a standard manicure and pedicure. Spent $63 total. I originally was going to leave a bad review on Yelp for the prejudice service my friend and I received, however, with the turn of events, unfortunately a bigger issue took precedence. Issue 1: Briefly, my friend and I were both there for mani/pedis. Two women each came to us to service us. Midway through prepping for my services, a Caucasian woman walked in. My manicurist and her manicurist both stopped servicing us to go and begin on the Caucasian woman's hands and feet. Bad service. Issue 2: I received an infection from dirty equipment! Since my visit, I've undergone 2 rounds of antibiotics and out-patient foot surgery. It has been a complete nightmare. I called the establishment and they offered me a "free mani/pedi". Absolutely ridiculous. Why would I return for another infection and bad treatment from workers. I was unable to drive, let alone walk/go to work for over 3 weeks and this was their compensation. I only requested my $63 refunded. Not even the doctor's bills and lyft/uber rides I needed to take to and from the doctor. I spent Thanksgiving in bed, drugged on Tramadol from the pain. This place used to be my go to for nails for many years. I'd been going consistently pretty much every month for years and I did so because they were cheaper than other places and close to work. However the customer service experience leaves a lot to be desired. I called to make an appointment and when I arrived, the girl I requested had taken a walk in whom she was just getting started on. They kept saying she'd be with me in a few minutes, but after about 15 minutes, another lady said she'd have to do my pedicure. Meanwhile other people who walked in after me were greeted and seen by someone pretty much right away. This type of thing I've had happen to me many times at this place. It took the other lady about 2 hours to give me a simple pedicure and she left me many times to go tend to something else or answer the phone since they have no receptionist. Then when she painted my nails, it looked so streaky and gloppy that it would honestly have looked better had I done it myself at home. She did repaint when I complained, but if I hadn't noticed then, I would have been pretty upset when I got home. At checkout, I stood waiting for someone to even notice me at the register until someone came to the register so I could pay. Maybe this was an especially off day for them, but I will say that the slowness and complete disregard for appointments and customers' time has been consistent. I don't think I'll be returning. I made a 10:30am appointment to come here on a Saturday morning for a much needed mani-pedi. It was a mom's one or two hour outing with a girlfriend and to celebrate our birthdays too. We left 45 minutes after entering with nothing done at all. We were seated after another woman, who came in after us was seated. Then we sat at the chairs with nothing in the foot bin for a while (maybe 10 minutes). When someone came to fill it with water, I had to turn down the temperature myself because the person walked away and it was too hot. This is considering that I usually like really hot water. Then my friend and I sat as we watched two other women, who just came in get seated across from us. By this time it had been about 35-40 minutes we were sitting and waiting. Someone came and took off the polish that was already on my toes and I was excited that our moms pampering outing was finally going to happen. The lady gestures to her colleague that my friend was next in line and not the woman across of her, who has came in just a bit ago and she was about to start on. After that my lady walked off and nothing happened. Meanwhile, her colleague started on the woman across from my friend clearing not minding the order of customers. And we were both left to sit and wait. At this point we both gave up and decided to leave, because our husbands were going to be back with all the kids for a group lunch soon. As we were leaving the women were saying that they were about to start on us. Well I feel that if I bothered to call to make an appointment that they could bother to start within 15 minutes of the appointment and be considerate enough to respect the order of incoming customers. Just a very disappointing waste of time when I could have been spending it with my children. So... so much for our rare mom-time/birthday celebration outing. You go in and they call everyone by name! They have so many very loyal customers that keep going back to them. I had set reservations for four people three days prior. I stressed to them that they had to be done within an hour because we were all going during our lunch break. They said that they could definitely do that because they have plenty of people. When I got there days later, they remembered my reservation. I reminded them over and over again that we had to be done within an hour. Instead, they took forever to get to me. They try to stays me saying that someone will come soon. But they never did. We all didn't get to sit together at first too. They rather help others that came after me. It took over an hour and a half just to do a basic pedicure. I'm never going to go there again. Went in last night and was told a gel manicure and pedicure would be $45.00. Added a scrub and eyebrow wax ($11.00). Technician told me my total was $81.00 rather than $56.00. When I questioned her about the increase she said "You an adult, you should have asked." I paid the $81.00 and when she asked if I wanted to tip, I said no. She said "You so mean." Ridiculous, unprofessional, awful place. On top of that, she forgot to put top coat on one foot so half of my pedicure is shiny and the other is dull. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I started a new job on Sugarloaf, and I'm looking for a new nail place. I gave this place a try. I will not be back. I found the place to be dirty and cluttered. Nail Techs were not wearing the white shirts required by law. The whole experience was stressful. After I was done, I wanted to go to Frontera next door for a drink. I get color soak gel which requires acetone for removal. Instead of wrapping each finger in foil, they put a big bowl of acetone on my lap on top of my magazine. I was so uncomfortable trying not to spill the acetone all over me. At one point, I was actually in pain trying to balance it. The worst part is that my credit card was charged twice for services so I had to get on the phone to dispute the charges. I won't be back. Sill hunting for a new salon. read more
