The worst wax experience I've ever had tbh. I've been getting waxes and sugars for over 7 years. I go every 5 weeks consistently. I'm new to Georgia found this place had great reviews 5 minutes from my house perfect. My estie was Kimberly. Lobby is fine clean go in no one at the desk someone comes out with her gloves on! Says to fill out a form she'll be with me in a minute. I go back and she says you're getting Brazilian and under am I said no. Brazilian sugar and eyebrows. Ok get undressed. Just like that lol no conversation about my skin if I'm done this before etc. I lay down on paper like from the doctors office you know it's cold no towel to cover nada just coochie out on the table. Again I've been to plenty of places. They always discuss your skin allergies needs. You get a towel and a pre wipe but yea not here. Anyway I'm looking around I see a crockpot Lmaoo a literal crock pot with wax in it. And a jar of barbicide with tweezers etc in it. I'm like hmmm. Flags already waving but I went against my better judgement because I'm like well I guess that's convenient to not have to keep warming up wax with that big ass thing lol. Anyway Kimberly comes in doesn't speak or make conversation only thing she said was do you want it all off? I'm like yea ok. So she powders me up like a donut and starts sugaring. The waxing part was going fine again just was silent. I asked her a few questions after a bit but she was just silent afterwards. Just gave off weird vibes idk. Not comforting or personable like you would want to feel with someone down at your goodies. She did most of the Brazilian with sugar. Which is what I wanted. She ended up doing some soft wax strips on my Bikini line which I thought was weird never had to have more than one wax used. Again go every 5 weeks. Ain't no bush it's minimal hair. Ok boom I flip over on my stomach which also never done but anyway she proceeds to then use hard wax on the backside and I asked her how come she using different waxes she said because of moisture the sugar isn't gripping mind you in all my years never ever had this happen. So she uses all 3 wax methods on me . Ok now she's done. No after wax spray not wax removal no hot towel nothing. Just sticky as ion what tells me get dressed then we'll do my eyebrows. Again I should have just left but yea I didn't so my sticky booty got dressed sat in the chair now. Told her what I wanted. She used strips fine that's what I expected. Showed me they look fine but I noticed it was still burning. So when we got to the front I said I think you burned me kuz it's stinging still. She ain't say shit told me my total now I know I should have spoken up more but honestly I was just flabbergasted by the experience I just wanted to leave. Nonetheless I would never return to this establishment nor would I recommend anyone to go there. I went to snooze restaurant right across the parking lot and I was telling her why I was so flustered and said wow she had the same experience it was terrible as well. So pay attention to the bad reviews and if you have a bad experience somewhere please share I know it's a pain kuz again I don't usually do reviews even if it's bad but how else is everyone else supposed to know. read more

I had my second appointment at The Waxing Spot the other day, and after another wonderful experience with Patricia, I felt inclined to write a glowing review of this stellar business. I recently moved to the area and was in need of finding my new go-to waxing spot. If you get waxes regularly, then you can understand what an undertaking it is to find someone that you can trust and feel totally comfortable with. Upon reading a number of reviews from probably 7/8 different establishments, I decided to book an appointment at The Waxing Spot with Patricia. Many other reviewers had a number of positive things to say about their experience with her, so I was hopeful that I would have a pleasant experience as well. The Waxing Spot is conveniently located in the Sprouts shopping center. Upon entering, there is a small sitting area and a checkout counter. I arrived a few minutes early, and my appointment promptly started on time. Patricia made me feel so comfortable, (all things considering due to the nature of my wax!) I was extremely disappointed with my service here. I've been waxing for about 2-3 years. Ive tried a handful of waxing spots but typically I would go to a spot that's pretty far from me. Because of gas being so expensive, I decided to give this place a try since it had so many good reviews & was way closer than my normal waxing spot. I decided to get the "mini package" which was supposed to include Brazilian, full legs, underarms, & lip. However, I did not get what I paid for. My esthetician only did Brazilian, legs & underarms & never did the lip. She also left so many patches of hair on my legs & Brazilian. I have honestly NEVER gone to any waxing business where they've left so much hair leftover. I didn't even realize until I got home & my husband had pointed out multiple patches for me. My esthetician also made some comments that made me really uncomfortable. She had asked if I had shaved & I answered that I did shave 2 weeks prior & I was nervous about my hair being too long to wax. Her response was,"Oh don't worry about that! Some of the girls that come in here have gorilla hair. It makes me feel so much better about my body hair." I even said to her after that,"That makes me nervous that you say that because I've always been worried that I'd come to get waxed at a business & the esthetician would judge me or talk about my body hair to the other estheticians or clients." Her response was again just to reiterate that she was only saying that because some clients there truly had gorilla hair. I felt really uncomfortable. When I got home & my husband had pointed out all the leftover hair, I responded to their feedback email & mentioned that I didn't receive the full service I had paid for PLUS there was literal patches of hair everywhere. Their response was "We do apologize for your unsatisfied visit with us today. After speaking with the esthetician about this, we are more than happy to have you come back when you are available and get the lip wax with no charge." How could it be free of charge when i've already paid for it & the esthetician just didn't do it? Plus, there was no acknowledgement at all about the patches of hair that was leftover. I responded back & asked how it would be free (no charge) if i've already paid for it & all they responded with was that they worded things wrong & what they meant was that I could come in & get my lip waxed & then offered a sugar scrub for the "inconvenience". Honestly, everything just left a really bad taste in my mouth. I feel like the esthetician rushed through my service & didn't care about the patches she left or making sure I was getting what I paid for & was really unprofessional for bringing up other clients' body hair to me. My hope in giving them the private feedback was that they would at least just acknowledge the mistakes that were made but instead, received a response that just made the situation worse. Maybe other people have had good experiences here but I felt really uncomfortable & like they had taken my money & not even given me the bare minimum. I've been to many different waxing places and this is by far the best Brazilian wax I've had! I originally scheduled my appointment with Patricia because of the great reviews I had seen about her, but upon my arrival I was asked if I would mind having my service done by another professional. I didn't mind, so instead of Patricia I had Giselli do my waxing service and she was great!! This girl got EVERYTHING! I have never had such a thorough experience from only booking a Brazilian. Not only did she do a great job, but we talked about my upcoming trip to Brazil and she even taught me some useful words/phrases in Portuguese. She was so thorough that I was thinking I might be charged more than a Brazilian service but it was still only $45!! Also tried lash perm here twice, first time with Kimberly went great and I loved them, second time was a low key disaster. I prefer sugaring over hard wax but I'm cheap and they charge more for sugar. If your just starting waxing I'd recommend paying the extra. read more

I am a plus size woman and I've been getting a Brazilian wax for about 3 years now and today's experience was probably the best since I started my waxing lifestyle. She was so nice and she definitely did not make me uncomfortable and TRUST ME IT HAS HAPPENED with other places. She also educated me on the type of technique and waxing that is used. I agree with the other review. This experience was awesome! Patricia was super sweet, and I loved talking to her. The wax wax also incredible. I've had about six Brazilian waxes, and yes, they do get easier each time, but this wax was almost painless. I loved the hard wax that she used. She got every hair, and even made sure with tweezers at the end! I loved it. She also recommended a light cream for ingrown hairs. I love it so far, and can't wait for results! I just moved to the area and really needed a wax. I went yesterday 6/6/17 to get a Brazilian and was terrified because not only am I trying out a new waxing lady (they are NOT all the same), but I've also been shaving (yikes). To my surprise it was minimal pain! I was really in disbelief how much it DIDN'T hurt lol. Patricia was very friendly and we talked the entire time. Her place is cute and clean and it's located next to Kroger so I was able to grocery shop when I was done :)After getting the Brazilian and seeing the amazing job she had done I added a lip and brow service.
