Lina is the goat! I have only gotten Brazilians with her and she always does an amazing job. She is quick! Literally done in 10 minutes leaving me feeling smooth and amazing. Even though she is super quick I never feel like she's rushing and I can tell she is doing a thorough job always going over making sure she doesn't leave anything behind. Cannot say enough good things about my experiences at Pretty Glow Wax & Sugaring! Every time I leave my day just feels better. Good vibes onlyyy =)) read more

I have been coming here for over 4 years now, I have nothing but good experiences here. Lina is so detailed and I just love her. Definitely recommend 100%. read more

I was a first timer and it just wasn't the atmosphere I expected. I was left with way to many hairs all over. I know they have a satisfaction policy where you can come back within so many days to get the ones they missed but I don't want to go back. I allotted that day and that time for the task and they fell short. They also sent me a text asking about my experience and why I wouldn't recommend. When I gave the reasons they just said ok thanks. I got the info about the satisfaction within so many days from other reviews. I gave 2 stars bc it didn't even take 30 minutes. ‍ read more

Let me start by saying great experience I found my person to wax me then I'm calling to book and she is no longer there or her books are too full which didn't make sense because I've booked her multiple times!!! Seemed sneaky to me like they didn't want to tell me what was going on with the person I was use to seeing!!!!! So I've never been back after that experience! read more

I had a wonderful experience here! I had an appointment but I had something come up and they were able to get me in sooner that day. The lady at the front desk was lovely & Alane did my wax and brows and did an amazing and thorough job, I will be back! read more

My preferred place to get a wax. I was going to another place previously but there was usually a spot they would miss. This place is much more thorough. read more

This place is under new ownership and it shows! My previous service was amazing! Yesterday I went and it couldn't have gone worse! Brazilian, underarm and brows. She burned my underarms soooo badly, the pain is excruciating! Also the Brazilian! I kept saying to her that the wax was super hot and she just proceeded! And clearly she wasn't properly trained as she kept going over the same areas over and over again! I notified management and she acknowledged the burns and the swelling and redness!!! the only response was oh I'm sure that hurts but 'she's a nice person!'.....well the burning, swelling and redness under my arms (and other places) don't care that she's a nice person!!! And I PAID for the service!!!! No offer to refund or anything!!!! This was negligence!!!!! I will not go back....perhaps it should go back to original owners!!!! Don't go here....you will leave injured and in tremendous pain! read more

Since we moved up here, I've been going to Rio for eyebrow waxing. They are always professional and consistently great. However, the last time I went, I decided to try out their tinting. Omg... Lea is amazing. She's friendly, VERY knowledgeable, VERY detail oriented, and listens to what you want. Pics: 1. (Top) without tinting 2. (Middle) immediately after 3. (Bottom) 3 days later... and it's been 2 weeks and they still look like this read more

I started coming here in August '19 to prepare for a Jamaica trip. This was my first Brazilian Wax in my life...I was very nervous but excited at the same time. I didn't know what to expect as this was my 1st. My 1st lady was very nice and gentle. She talked me through the pain of her snatching the wax off. Of all days, I was all bushed out-lol. It took longer and more wax. But after it was all clean, it wasn't bad. I now return once a month to have a Brazilian and it's so worth it. And it's less painful. The end results are such a turn on and afterwards you will be aroused due to the warm wax-don't judge me! read more

This little shop is awesome. They are located in the Kroger plaza; I'm not sure if they are new but it's a very relaxing and soothing environment. They don't require appointments and front desk staff are always friendly. Their prices are a bit cheaper than EWC. Eyebrows are only $10.00 and their Brazilians are $35 which is a deal. The technicians are very personable, extremely gentle and efficient - they always ask your preferences before starting the service and make sure you're satisfied. If you're thirsty during your visit, be sure to visit the beverage station with a plethora of choices including wines. They also have a customer loyalty program, just give them your email and off you go. I'll definitely be returning in the next two weeks. As this is my new go-to place near my office. read more

This should really be a five star. I was pleased to find this place near where I was staying while in GA. I did a walk in appointment and wasn't disappointed! Friendly, clean, spot. There appeared to be about eight rooms. My tech was friendly. The service was performed on tummy and back. Everything was great, but I had a nice patch of hair left. No mirror was in my room. I'd still return and hope that doesn't happen again. Ask about specials! read more

This place is AMAZING!!!! Let me start by saying this place is VERY welcoming. Letticia did my Brazilian wax and it was by far one of the BEST I've ever had. I can give this place 5 stars because I've experienced some really bad Brazilian waxes that I couldn't even finish. She was gentle took her time and made me feel very comfortable. This facility is also extremely clean. No complaints at all !!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again and in need of a braz. And for $35 that's a steal doesn't get any better than that. I also got my full arms done she was quick but efficient she did an awesome job didn't miss a hair even did my hands and fingers. As many times I got my arms waxed not once did they do my hands and fingers lol I was shocked. So happy I came across this place :) read more

Love this waxing spot. The ladies are knowledgeable and professional. They have an array of different waxes and sugars pending on your skin type and the look you want to achieve. It's chic swanky and always clean. They have about 7 private rooms so you don't feel as if your privacy is being compromised. I'll be back! read more

Extremely clean and I was able to walk in and get my service within 30 minutes. I found my new waxing place.

First time waxing here she was great, Letticia , she was informative, comforting and honest! I've been coming here for about 3 months and I definitely won't be going anywhere. It's becoming easier and easier. I would recommend to anyone's first time or trying to find your waxing home :) read more

Very welcoming! As a first time customer Leticia waxed my brows very neatly and was very gentle. The environment is so relaxing. I'll be back to try other services.. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my waxing experience at Rio Body Wax. My esthetician was focused on getting the job done and helped make my experience better. She tried to make the experience as painless as possible. The pricing was reasonable, especially as I compared to other spas or salons. My recommendation for improvement is mainly about "bedside" manner. I would have liked for her to talk me through their process and explain what types of waxes she would be using at the beginning of the appointment. While I asked plenty of questions to compensate, and she was informative with each answer, I preferred to have her offer an explanation prior to waxing. I will be going back the next time I need a wax. read more

Excellent job, very quick and not too painful. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came here per the recommendation of a friend as I'm new to the area. Very clean location, simple but classy decor, service was great, and Lea did a great job. read more

Let me just start out by saying I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant and have previously been a frequent waxer. However, with being pregnant, there come extra sensitivities. The owner of the salon did my Brazilian and was extra cautious and took my needs into consideration. She was professional and quick but most of all, genuine and caring. I would recommend this new waxing facility to all! read more

DEFINITELY coming back here! Lina was super quick with me and absolutely as painless as possible, very good at what she does! Thank you!

I haven't had a wax in over a year, but, really wanted to, again. I used to receive them regularly. I am from NJ and I have my own spa here and I can say I am pleased with them. This experience, however, was amazing. I made the appointment same day, about 6 hours prior. The woman at desk made me so comfy, plenty of smiles and warm and welcoming. Making an appointment took seconds. Later I returned and she greeted by name and Leteccia was all ready for me, despite her last client (I heard her say Leteccia's name) JUST checking out. I didn't have to wait at all and was 5 minutes early. I undressed and Leteccia started immediately. She was informative the entire time, moved swiftly, yet carefully and comfortably. I expected some pain with it being over a year and me shaving instead of waxing, but, it was as minimal as it could have been. For those more coarse hairs she used tweezers while she waited for the wax to harden (and told me of this was uncomfortable she could stop). I was well aware first time could leave some strays and was very appreciative she took the initiative to make sure she did her best. I could tell during the entire session, Leteccia is well trained and knows her waxing. When she was just about finished, she explained I may feel a little stubble (something I've always felt after waxing in the beginning stages) BUT despite her warning, I went home to one of the smoothest waxing I've ever received in about 6-7 years. (I have wild, coarse hair) I was visiting relatives and I am going to make sure when I return in the summer months that I am prepared for a wax here. I wish I could've moved the entire place to NJ with me. read more

Lea was hands down the sweetest, fastest, and most polite esthetician ever! I felt so comfortable, and there was zero pain. Wow! Thank you Lea. I will be back. read more

So this was my very first time getting a wax! I read all the horror stories on google about the terrible experiences with other places. I was very skeptical to even do it. Once I go there I was put at ease and was reassured I wouldn't get anything I wasn't comfortable with doing. I started with legs, I was told what areas would hurt more than others and was prepared for it! This was amazing go to this location! read more

Not sure why this is my first time reviewing but i've been going here since May 2018. I get a Brazilian wax with Lina every month. Lina is super nice, EXTREMELY thorough, and she makes me feel comfortable. There's been a couple times that I was out of town and needed to get a wax real quick so i've used someone else... never again. Lina makes sure she gets every single hair & I also notice that I don't get ingrown hairs when she waxes me, compared to when someone else does. The prices here are really good as well. Definitely would recommend!!! read more

Went for the first time today , for a Brazilian wax they were amazing! I have no complaints service and the employees were great!

Just walked out and had to review. Arrived as a Walk-in for eyebrow wax. The reception area is nicely decorated and front desk staff( I am sry I forgot her name) was very friendly. Greeted with smiles! Let me just say Leticia worked it out on my brows. I was unsatisfied with the last shop I visited and the outcome of my brows. This time I simply said " I would like them to have a little arch." Leticia did her thing. I am so excited about the outcome! I will definitely be back to see her. AMAZING! Thank you Rio Body Wax for great customer service! read more
