We always frequent The Railyard for food but never tried this salon until today. I called in the morning and they had availability to take both my girls at noon. Super easy to make an appointment and very friendly over the phone. Our experience in the salon was the same. Ashley and Madison did great jobs trimming and styling my girls hair and were so nice, along with the rest of the staff. The owner was there and was kind as well. I really liked this salon at first, but the girl who did my hair on my first visit is no longer here. I've been back 2 other times... both times I had to return and have my cut fixed. The first time; I think was bc my hair was possibly tucked behind my mask, so I went back to the same girl bc I really liked her and the final cut.... But the 2nd time... there was no explanation as to what happened... one whole side was longer than the other... some spots really long... I wasn't asking for a new style... I just wanted my last hair cut refreshed....it did not turn out the same!!! Not even close.... The girl who did my hair is super nice so I won't name her, but she didn't even check/compare sides, she just went straight into curling my hair... which kept me from seeing the off balance of my hair. When I returned for the fix; there was no supervisor or manager there to verify how bad the cut was, besides the hair stylist, and she even said "wow... I don't know how I did that?!?" Well I do... you didn't compare sides! For my 2nd messed up cut.... what really upset me was that I had to ask for a refund or some sort of credit to be done since I paid for a cut that was really messed up. Customer service wise... Something should have been offered by the manager, not me asking for it. Fixing my hair cut is not a sufficient correction on its own. It was just really disappointing. After I asked.... I was given a discount on my next cut.... but honestly... It's not worth going back and giving them anymore of my money. I wish now that I would have asked for a full refund, but I hated being put in that awkward position! read more

I'm not usually one to write a review about a stylist- but MEGAN was the best stylist I've ever had. My hair was dark blonde after having kids and she gave me highlights that looked as natural as they did when I was a kid. She cut exactly what I asked, even asking a few times since I was chopping off so much. Decides going home feeling absolutely great with my hair was that she was so easy to talk to. I'm an introvert and she made me feel like we we're friends from the second I sat down. I'm so happy I took a chance on a new place, the whole staff was accommodating and gotta love the 90's music. I went in as a walk in during the morning hours today and was greeted by front desk, she passed me on to Savannah who took her time to ask me questions about what I was looking for in a hairstyle. I totally appreciate that, as I had a few requests, I wanted something lighter, easy to style (both straight and curly), cute and modern. Well, Savannah definitely delivered! I loved the atmosphere, the faith based approach and the manager, but I will say that the "tiered" approach to cutting hair is horrible. I went with a tier one employee and she did a horrible job on my hair. It was horribly uneven, the back had no defined tape line at the bottom of my short hair, the fading was awful (non-existent to be honest) and she never truly cut the front of my hair. I don't believe that you should worry about dealing with a tier one employee and paying for a haircut when you are essentially still someone's apprenticeship without getting something you want. I shouldn't have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to have someone skilled cut my hair the way I prefer. I pray favor and knowledge over the shop, I just want there to be clarity that the inability to cut hair at a tier 1 is a horrible way to earn a lifelong customer. I will not be back. read more

The owner is a terrible business person. I ordered hair extensions a month ago and was told that UPS still had not delivered. Fine. But I didn't get a call until two hours before my appointment to tell me this. Have a little courtesy. I went and asked for a refund given the fact that they didn't have the hair to do my hair for the appointment , she refused, not only that, I consider myself a very reasonable and understanding person but she patronized, talk down to me and made me feel like I was in the wrong for what service she couldn't provide. She refused to give me a refund. REFUSED. You are in the service industry. As a business owner, if you can't provide a service then REFUND my $380. you're holding onto my money and that's wrong. Be a good person. That's all I ask. Do the right thing. She was downright awful and horrible and told me she didn't have time for me and then refused to discuss further with me and basically shooed me out the door. I'm shocked beyond words read more

So first off, everyone was very nice and the salon has a great atmosphere, great for the ladies. However, gentlemen...steer clear if you are looking for a good cut. I got BUTCHERED. I got zero of what I asked for, either she completely ignored what I wanted or didn't know how to do it. On top of that it was VERY poorly done (uneven all over the place) definitely the worst haircut I've ever had. I know it's not a barbershop but I was expecting an even cut at the very least. I visited Industry Salon in May. Loved everything about it. It was clean & I had great service from Kelly Lock. Can't wait to go back!

My experience with this salon was horrible. I was filmed without consent and the video is being used for social media publicity. The owner stated there was a notification of the filming outside on the door. If posted I overlooked it and nothing was mentioned upon entering. I saw the camera and asked the stylist who advised me that she didn't know much more than it was for promotional reasons. I then told her I didn't want to be in any promotional film and she assured me it was focused on the salon and stylists not the clients. Did not get what I asked for and was charged for the follow up visit to fix. Second visit still didn't produce desired results. Pictures of requested hair style was provided to stylist both times. Wasn't able to reach the owner to share my concerns until I brought up the lack of consent for filming. She then offered refunds for both services but failed to honor the agreement. Despite documentation of my credit card statement she insists that I paid with a method that she couldn't credit (a method that I never possessed) and is trying now to cut the promised refund in half. We have been going back and forth for weeks and the Salon's responses are inconsistent and contradictory. The owner stands by her version of events and refuses to acknowledge the documentation confirming my accurate invoice and proof of payment (one of which is a Square receipt from her company). Overall a horrible experience ending with a credit card dispute. read more
