My pedicure today was spectacular, as always and Annie was amazing as usual. I lease apartments so I walk a lot at work and I need and love my pedicure especially the massage on my legs and feet, the hot towels and how beautiful my toe nails and my feet end up. My only concern is that I feel sooooo relax that one day Annie is going to have to wake me up when I fall asleep. Can you imagine the shame of my snoring? I've been struggling to find a good salon since relocating to Lawrenceville/Dacula area. I'm no stranger to the nail salon. I've been getting my nails done since I was 15 and had everything from acrylic to SNS, so I know what I like. I called ahead for SNS and they immediately fit me in. When I arrived, they directed me to check in and straight to a seat. The salon is in a nice area and the atmosphere was calming. It's on the smaller side, but I love that and prefer it to a big, busy salon. The only issue I had is I guess my nail tech was explaining that a part of the corner of my previous overlay broke when she was cutting them down so the shape of my right middle finger is a little off and not quite as sharp as the others. The rest of them, the shape was exactly what I wanted. We had great conversation, they offered me something to drink, she oiled my cuticles and did a lotion hand massage (the lotion smelled AMAZING) and to top off the whole experience, they gave me a $5 off coupon on my way out for being a first timer! The place appears to be clean and the woman working the front desk was very pleasant. The final result of my service and the "experience" were lacking. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. I don't always have time to go the salon so when I do I really want a relaxing experience. My manicure and pedicure were scheduled at the same time instead of doing one service after the other. While getting my pedicure I had to sit up and twist so the team member doing my manicure had access to my hands. It was an uncomfortable position to be in for ~60 minutes. I can understand the desire to be efficient but the salon only had a few other guests. Seems like doing both services at the same time was unnecessary. My pedicure was completed with great attention to detail and care. I appreciated the work done by the tech. My gel manicure is another story. Beyond being uncomfortable, there were several items that made this an unsatisfactory experience. My appointment was on Wednesday, by Friday I had a hang mail & chipped polish. There is polish on my cuticle beds and the coats are uneven. It's now Saturday and one of my nails is almost completely bare. I will continue my search for a salon that provides the quality and experience I want. read more

I came in for a pedicure and manicure. I am New to Acrylics and told them That. Length was okay as I asked for short but the acrylic under my natural nail dives me crazy. I believe that my nail tech was learning and new to acrylics. The pedicure was what I came for. My feet are incredibly calluses if I don't get a proper pedicure monthly and I maintain at home. The callus remover was applied superficially, no covering or let to sit to actually work. She used just the pumice stone. I would have gladly Tipped well and paid more for a thorough pedicure. I was not asked if I wanted gel on my toes. It was assumed and I was charged for it. She also cut my cuticles too close and I had pain for a week after. It was a beautiful location and I had high hopes but I will not be back. read more

No speculation because I have the translator app. This will definitely be my last time here and I requested to have my information deleted from their system. Just came back from this location. I asked for a French pedicure. I thought things were going well but then at the end when it was time to pay the total was significantly higher. I asked why and apparently the clerk misheard my order and told the nail tech to give me gel. This was only my second time getting my nails done and so I'm not familiar and didn't realize what was going on. I had gel on my fingers the first time I had my nails done and hated it because I couldn't figure out how to get it off. I never wanted to get gel again. I explained that I didn't want or ask for gel and was still charged for it anyway. Now i am inconvenienced by having gel that Is going to be a pain for me to remove and I was charged extra on top of that. Really disappointed by how this situation was handled. I went in for a long overdue pedicure and a manicure with regular polish. While there, I was offered a mustache and eyebrow wax (among other things, lots of sales pitching) which I accepted. The salon is cute and everyone was friendly. I am happy with the pedicure. The person performing the service worked quickly and thoroughly while checking in regularly to make sure I was ok. The person performing my manicure, while nice and funny, was rough. I ended up with 3 spots of broken/raw skin between the nippers and nail file. My fingers are sensitive so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but that's a lot even for me. Still what really made me give a 2 star review was the waxing. I haven't had a wax done in an extremely long time and didn't know what to expect. After I left my face itched which I attributed to just the process but by the next morning I was completely broken out where the wax was applied. I have never in my life had such a break out. After researching online there were preventative steps that could have been taken but weren't. It took several days for my face to appear normal again. read more

My daughter likes to come here, but even she was irritated this time. They were not busy at all and tell you to pick a color. While we were looking at the colors, we are almost immediately told to go sit in a pedicure chair and they will bring the colors. They brought my daughter one of the color books, when they had a ton more colors. She is too nice to speak up and they are so forceful about making you sit right away. She ended up just settling for a color instead of getting what she really wanted. Disappointed especially since she is going to homecoming. read more

I moved from Gwinnett County to Walton County and have been in search of a good salon for a year. I had previously been getting my nails done in Johns Creek, GA., and didn't want to continue making the 80-mile roundtrip. I did some research and saw the 4.6 rating and decided to take a chance. I made an appointment for a fill and one nail repair (no polish). I asked that the nail that was to be repaired be shaped similarly to the other nail which has a slight curve. The actual nail fill is okay except that I had to come home and buff/sand them. None of the nails were smooth and the nail that was repaired was not to my liking at all (they tried). When I checked out, I did not have cash and asked how to leave a tip (even though I didn't feel there was any work done that warranted a tip---I'm reasonable like that!) The clerk told me to just write what I wanted to pay. I did not see a line for a tip so I thought I was supposed to write the total amount to be charged to my card. Well, the service was $29 and I wanted to give a $6 tip so I wrote $35. To my surprise, the receipt was $64! To her credit, she did bring it to my attention and asked if the $64 was what I intended to pay; of course, I said no. The manager or owner stepped in and told me he reversed the transaction. When I asked for a receipt indicating that the reversal had been done, I was told "it was in the system." Welp, when I came home and checked my account, sure enough, there was a $64 charge. I'm hoping I will see the correction tomorrow. If not I will simply have my banking institution handle the issue. Nothing about this salon makes me want to return. Terrible!! Don't go here unless you would like a nail fungus. Haven't gotten nails or tips in 30 years because I typically don't do longer nails. Had a special wedding coming up that I wanted them to look nice. Had short tips put on with SNS on top. The technician was not nice & hurriedly made me make a decision about what color I wanted. As I mentioned I had never had nails put on since my wedding 30 years ago! I needed guidance on how it all worked. I didn't like the way they looked but really wanted to get away from that technician. They were not what I like or expected! I came back in the next morning to get them corrected & made shorter. Before the 2nd week ended after getting them, I noticed a dark place on top of one of the nails. I thought it was maybe mascara that I couldn''t get off my nail. Went back to the salon & it was a fungus growing under 2 of my nails! They were very nonchalant as if it was my fault!! Had to make time again to come by this week to get them all soaked off only to find it growing on another nail as well. There were no apologies or compassion or even suggestions on what to do! I still had to pay for the removal of the SNS. I'm frustrated & flabbergasted! Just finished consulting with a pharmacist about what I need to do now. Hopefully this $20 OTC treatment will help, if not, then I need to pay to see a dermatologist!! Moral is stay away from this place!! A no star review would be more fitting!! read more

I went to Pedispa & Nails Salon for a couple of reasons. My granddaughter had an upcoming dance Friday (yesterday) & Sat (today). She's only 13, but knew exactly what type of design she wanted for her manicure. I explicitly told the nail tech and the man (I believe is the owner) that she is not to get gel or any other long lasting chemical on her nails that would require using a device to remove the polish later. I thought we were on the same page. In the meantime I decided to get a pedicure with massage ($38). When I went to check out my bill came to $88! Wait what??? My granddaughter had a manicure ($15) with design (I understand that's extra), but her total was $50 (?). They charged me for using gel on her nails ($30) + $15 (basic manicure) + I assume an additional $5 for design. I questioned him about it and I was given an answer that he knew was a bunch of bull! Had I known I was going to have a service done that I adamantly said not to do, I wouldn't have given each tech $5 (totalling an additional $10). He could have paid them with the overcharged bill that I ended up paying ($88). My granddaughter liked the design, but I will need to find another place to go when I visit Georgia again! I had been going to this nail shop since moving here in July of 2020 (after the world opened back up that is). I liked the shop because it was personable and quaint. I could get in relatively quickly and was happy with the service. The last time I went I was treated horribly. I spent $178 for a new set and pedicure (don't even get me started about the price changing from visit to visit). I mentioned to the young ladies working on me the colors looked different and I wanted them to match. They blew me off. Also, the girl I normally book with said I could no longer make one appointment for both services and that I would need to set up two separate appointments as she needed to start on time and the nail designs I typically get are not easy to do in the pedicure area...smh. I said something to the manager on the way out...he said I could come back another day and get the colors changed (what!?). I don't believe in causing scenes so I just left. I guess adding new chairs, etc. decreases the type of service you get. Suffice it to say after telling my daughter about my experience neither of us will be returning. read more
