I have visited this salon twice since my original review. Both technicians were very careful with my cuticles since the original visit. Next time I will ask them to use the drill less to preserve my nail bed. Also, a note on price- they actually charge $30 for SNS which is the cheapest I have found it. I visited American Nail and Spa on a Saturday afternoon. It was crowded but I got seated fairly quickly for my pedicure. I wish they had more OPI nudes but I did find a Essie that was a peachy nude. My pedicure experience was average- not in a bad way, and it definitely was thorough- but I didn't like that they charged extra to use the callus shaver and callus remover. Most salons just have that as part of the service. A bit of confusion on my SNS manicure- my pedicure was all the way done and I still had to wait almost 10 minutes to get to a manicure chair. Was very impressed with the color pay out and the shape of my nails but my technicians induced some cuts around my nails( I can feel them when I wash my hands). I don't think this was due to cutting my cuticles as she was very careful but due to the electric drill getting too close. This was my first time getting SNS instead of gel. My pedicure was $26 and my SNS manicure was $35. I'm not sure if that's market price for SNS but it was a bit of sticker shock for me! Since there are so many different salons within a mile or two radius I think I'll try somewhere different next time I need a mani/pedi.

I told them that I wanted to get my nails and feet done but I was on a time limit. They were able to accommodate me. I arrived and they took care of my pedicure and gel nails at the same time. They got me in and out in about one hour and ten minutes. Fast yet great service. That pedicure was the best! The second time I returned was to cut my nails down. The man at the front helped me for the first part, he tried to talk me into multiple service none of which I needed (my nails are strong and never break with gel on them). He then proceeded to electronically grind every single one of my nails down to almost nothing, chipping a few the lady then came over and finished the mess he made and tried to glue them. Simple tasks like washing my hair or buttoning my pants became impossible with paper thin nails and within 3 days ALL 10 of my nails were broken, the amount of pain I had to endure was extremely unnecessary and upsetting..it's been 5 weeks and my nails are finally starting to thicken up. For anyone looking for the original team, Lily is now at USA Nails on Highway 78 (you can ask for Kim), and Tammy is now at Luv Nails. They continue to provide the same great service many of us were used to. It's really disappointing to see a business choose to spread misinformation instead of focusing on treating customers well.
